Reviewed By Tourist29064430153We dropped on this fantastic hotel in the Ski Welt when booking a friends skiing trip. The staff were also so friendly and accommodating - from the reception staff to the restaurant staff. The food was fabulous- plenty of it and a high standard. The spa area was an added bonus. We will be back next year,

Friendly staff, gorgeous food at reasonable prices, impeccable room (we had the small mountain room but there’s nothing small about it) and the wrap around pool is one of a kind. Highly recommend! We will be back soon for sure.

Reviewed By RMotardWhile on a shortski in Scheffau with colleagues, we visited the restaurant part twice as it was simply so much better than the restaurant of the hotel we stayed in. The dishes - chateaubriand and the Kaiserplatte - were excellent ! Staff are very kind and helpful. Definitely recommended !

Great ski hotel
Reviewed By Gillian KArrived around 3.30pm and was warmly welcomed by Aloisia. Check in swift as keys handed to us immediately and all necessary paperwork completed later that evening. Our 3 rooms were all next to each other on the first floor at front of hotel but no traffic noise could be heard. Reasonable sized rooms and adequate shower room with plenty hot water. Hotel located just over from slopes and to make things easier for ourselves we rented lockers at the gondola. The evening meals were amazing and always hot and plentiful. The only slight disappointment for us was breakfast as coffee was only lukewarm as pot was out on table when we arrived in dining room each morning obviously having been placed on table for some considerable time before we wanted it. We were always last down for breakfast so hot food was no longer hot that’s if there was any left. There is no separate bar but you can stay at table after meal to enjoy drinks but atmosphere was lacking unfortunately. The positives far outweigh the negatives and we will certainly consider this hotel again.

Wonderful Stay for a week of skiing
Reviewed By grmgrl2016I have been staying at the hotel for several years when I come for 8 days of Skiing in the spring. The location could not be any better. Right in the center of Scheffau 2 minutes from the ski bus stop and the local grocery store. The Gasthof has been remodeled and updated so the rooms have modern bathrooms and furniture. When skiing I do choose the option with breakfast and diner included . The menu for dinner is amazing ( 3 options)and includes a generous appetizer /dessert buffet). Breakfast has everything you every wanted to eat including scrambled eggs and bacon . The staff is very friendly . Many of the waiters have been there for years. It is nice to see the familiar faces when arriving there. A one week stay is fairly priced . You can even request to get your lift tickets delivered to the Gasthof. Do not hesitate to stay there when trying to elect a place for your vacation.

Reviewed By Richard JOur second stay at this gasthaus and enjoyed in just as much the second time around. In the countryside just outside Sheffau... free bus service to downtown and elhere in the valley. A reasonably walk to Hintersteinersee to see a beautifulf glacier lake. Food is great, as is the staff. Plan to return yet again.

Reviewed By ZuzkaGeoApartments situated across the street with a big traffic, which is not comfortable for family with small children. Equipment of apartment is very simple. Very old towels, mattresses and bedding, which was very bad experience and unexpected... Ski room very small with not enough space for all.
