Palazzo Pascal is one of the oldest noble houses on the Amalfi Coast, located in Scala, Frazione Minuta. Its origins are lost in the mists of time, when the nearby Church of the Annunciation of Minuta was built, a magnificent example of medieval art founded in the ninth century, to which it once belonged. This luxurious and exclusive noble residence has recently been renovated and today has become the first 5 Star Diffused Hotel on the Amalfi Coast. It has 7 suites some of which are real apartments including Deluxe suite, Junior suite, Romantic suite, Executive suite, Grand Deluxe suite, Executive suite and Prestige suite. The guests can enjoy also the seating area on our terrace that bosts magnificent views on the Amalfi Coast area, a meeting area/Internet point, spacious and elegantly furnished salons, a beautiful breakfast room, the Lounge Bar Pascal, a swimming pool boasting spectacular view on the sea an a great avant-garde kitchen where you can apply yourself for cooking class.
We stayed in Ortensia room which is on the top floor and we appreciated every detail - they chose beautiful tiles and the comfiest bed. The breakfast is freshly prepared and every day you can select your desired food and get it in the room or on the cute terrace designated for having breakfast. Their restaurant (Gli Ulivi) also offers delicious food so you have to try dining there.

This was one of the best B&B's we've ever stayed in! The rooms and property were clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and accommodating for every need. The view is incredible! The location is great - with a few local restaurant options within easy walking distance. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating (though sometimes I felt they were grumbling under their breath at some of our questions and requests.) The breakfast was served outside on the patio which offered an incredible view of the Amalfi Coast. Do note that the "hot tub" is not at all hot. Not sure if this is a European thing or this one in particular. We enjoyed it any way. The WIFi can be spotty. The AC worked great. I'd be blessed to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone else who is looking for something a bit off the high-traffic path of the Amalfi coast.

Hotel Zi’Ntonio is a 3 star hotel, managed by the Cavaliere family and is located a few steps from the historic center of Scala and about 1 km from Ravello. The pride and joy is the family restaurant "Ciccio Cielo Mare e Terra" since 1911 where our guests can, by staying at the property, benefit from a discount on the menu. The seasonality of the crops coming from the organic farm in Scala and the freshness of the fish together with the passion of 4 brothers Cavaliere are the ingredients that enhance the tradition, on a veranda suspended between sky and sea on the bay of Amalfi.
The quiet location was ideal with amazing views over Ravello and the sea beyond. The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and they took time to chat whenever we entered and left the hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a lovely terrace. The freshly prepared breakfast was plentiful, there was excellent choice and it was served on the sunny dining terrace overlooking the views. Parking spaces were readily available and included in the price.

Offering country-style rooms with air conditioning, free WiFi and a private balcony, Rianna Rooms & Breakfast has a peaceful hilly location a 15-minute drive from the Amalfi Coast. Guests at the Rianna enjoy a shared terrace, a snack bar and private parking. Massages can be booked, at extra charge. All en suite, guest rooms come with a wrought-iron bed, tiled floors and minibar.
We had a great 2 night stay at RiAnna, a lovely family run place on a cute village square in Scala. It's a great option if you want to visit Ravello without spending a fortune on accommodation. You can walk down to Ravello in about 25 minutes (lots of stops but very doable), or drive in 10, and there are buses to Amalfi. The rooms are super clean, with lovely tiled floors and wrought iron beds. We also had a great view over the valley. The owner, Gianluca, is extremely kind and accommodating. He gave us a lift to Ravello one day when he was driving down, and gave us some good tips and information on bus times. There is parking just in front of the hotel.

This B&B is excellent, and the people who run it are some of the kindest, warmest people that you'll ever meet in Italy. My husband and I planned this trip to Scala for our 20th wedding anniversary and we traveled with our two kids (7 and 9 years old). At first we were worried that the village life and the B&B experience would be too boring for the kids, but they had the best time ever, and didn't want to leave. And that's because the hosts went above and beyond to help us experience the village (hillside/mountain) life with its fruit trees, small streets and stores, the cute animals (horses, donkeys, dogs and cats that the kids loved), as well as the nearby beaches that were most convenient for us and the kids. The rooms were spacious, relaxing, very clean, very comfortable and with the most stunning views of the Amalfi coast. The food was amazing and the fresh air of the mountain made for some of the best sleep ever. Great Wifi service helped the kids access some of their favorite movies and shows in the evening while we sipped wine in the veranda. Couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely return and will continue to recommend B&B Oliva to friends.

Enjoyed a fabulous stay here and wish we could have stayed longer! Firstly, Antonio and his family are fantastic hosts and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect - thank you! The location is great, overlooking Ravello the view is stunning and it feels so idyllic and peaceful. The rooms were immaculate and could sit on the balcony overlooking the view all day! We enjoyed an evening meal here which was one of the best we had on our trip to Italy! Breakfast was also great - the homemade cakes especially! You have to try every flavour! Fantastic food all round! The outdoor area and pool are lovely, overlooking the stunning view and showers and changing rooms available so we could even use the pool on our last day waiting for a late flight. Overall one of the best places we have ever stayed with incredible hosts. Can’t wait to return and thank you for a lovely stay!

Il Pinguino B&B is located on the Amalfi coast next to Ravello and just 5 km from Amalfi. From here is easy to visit all the little city of the coast including Capri Positano Sorrento also Pompei is just 1 hour drive.
From the start we were felt to feel one of the family. Walter , Lorenzo and his son could not do enough for us. Lorenzo is a character and met us from Naples airport for the transfer ( and return ). He gave us good advice about the area on the just over an hour transfer from the airport. He also told us the reason it is called il pinguino and it's not because it means penguin. But I will not divulge the real reason although it is very true to the venue. We stayed here as we were attending a family wedding in Revello. On arrival we were in a room with no view at all just a wall which was not very good for us, however, we mentioned to Walter the next day and were moved to a lovely room with an excellent view. The reason we were given for the initial room was the fact that it was all done through booking.com which allows you to cancel in the last few days. And obviously Walter has to fill the other rooms first when they pay etc. This was all understood and accepted. Throughout the week Walter and his family were always attentive and happy to pass on local information including our day walk to Amalfi. Unfortunately we didn't follow the route told us and ended up doing a lot more steps than we needed to. But again well worth it. Highly recommended if you want to stay in the area but be prepared for the long and very steep walks as local taxis are expensive (they charge what the want ) Ask Lorenzo or Walter for recommendations. Local buses are cheap ie €1.30 single journey in the locality. We would definitely stay here again and hopefully we will in the future.

Palazzo Verone is a friendly and affordable B&B, suitable for families on their vacation, for a couple or more days in a trekking stay, for a romantic gateway or for your unforgettable honeymoon. As you will notice in our guests'pics, our aim is to let you feel at home, welcomed and treated with kindness and professionality. If you want to travel and love the Amalfi Coast, deeply feeling the atmosphere rich in nature and history, check for our rates or special offers, that is all you need. History The fame of Verone and the miraculous story "Palazzo Verone" is an historical mansion of medieval origin and still preserve evidence of its glorious past, several paintings of the eighteenth century (mentioned in TCI) can be seen on walls and celings. The building in ancient times was owned by Mr. Verone, influential and well known family of Pontone's village. The Verones were in struggling however with another noble family of the place, the D'Afflittos, owners of the ancient basilica of S.Eustace Petite that still can be seen nowadays. An old legend came up to us telling that in1618, Mr.Giovanni Domenico Verone and his wife were rescue somehow from death. This miracle is depicted in the frescoes ovals that still are preserved (they show some thiefs chained up and others souls in Purgatory holding bones in their hands) and it seems that the history is that the family have been saved from the assault of some thiefs thanks to the intercession, prayer request, of the souls in Purgatory.
My husband and I had the opportunity to stay at Palazzo Verone for three nights, and we are so happy we chose to stay here. Michele is truly the best host we have ever had. He cares so much about his guests and makes sure they have a perfect stay. He provided very helpful recommendations for great hikes, restaurants and the best transportation options. We loved the location as it provided stunning views of Amalfi but away from the crowds. After all the delicious food we were eating on our trip, we gladly welcomed the steps up to the inn. The breakfasts on the balcony with homemade pastries is unforgettable. The room was large, clean and comfortable. But most of all, Michele’s hospitality is what makes this place so special. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back again soon!

Welcome to Portico del Paradiso, your Scala “home away from home.” Portico del Paradiso aims to make your visit as relaxing and enjoyable as possible, which is why so many guests continue to come back year after year. Rooms at Portico del Paradiso provide a minibar and air conditioning, and guests can stay connected with free wifi. In addition, while staying at Portico del Paradiso guests have access to a picnic area, beach chairs, and sun umbrellas. You can also enjoy barbeque facilities. Need a place to park? Parking is available at Portico del Paradiso at additional cost.
A charming and beautiful place with a great atmosphere. A wonderful staff, very kind and helpful (thank you Roberta for everything and thank you May for the ride to the bus stop ?). The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and had a wonderful private balcony. The view is amazing. Breakfast is lovely and eating on the terrace with that view is absolutely delightful. The place is a quiet and calm getaway from the crowded attractions near the seaside. We enjoyed the evenings in nearby Ravelo, which has nice restaurants.
