Fabulous bar and lovely hotel.
Reviewed By debcoxWe only stopped here briefly unfortunately but we will certainly be back. Its a lovely old building which has been beautifully maintained with loads of character. The bar and restaurant are both cosy and attractive and in harmony with the Bavarian style. The food excellent and the staff wonderful, and welcoming we shall certainly be back.

Excellent Alpine Hotel
Reviewed By davel_catsExcellent hotel - it even has a skittles alley, which our group used our last evening there. There is an indoor swimming pool (29 degrees) and a sauna complex at no extra charge - towels provided. Our room was large, with a balcony shared with the room next door - this wasn't a problem until smokers moved in. There was a slight problem with the bath tap in that we sometimes had to play with it to get itbto shut completely off and then had to play with it to get hot water out of the shower. The staff were friendly and efficient. There is even a chapel in the hotel grounds.

Reviewed By Helle-Peter1Stayed for the third time in Ferienhotel Martinerhof. This time in a family room on the first floor. The room was nice clean. Ordinary beds for 3 persons and a sofa-bed for 1 child. Beds was a little bit too hard for us (not so heavy) adults. We had balcony to the street side. Toilet and bath ok but an extra shelf for toiletries will be good. WIFI has really been improved since we visited the hotel last year. We had no problem using WIFI in the room, in the restaurant or bar area. This is nice with two children addicted to be online. ? Friendly and welcoming host couple and the hotel is lovely in Austrian style. Ski bus just outside the hotel, first stop, so you will always get a seat. Dinner in the evening is very good with soup, salad, 2 different meals and dessert. All from buffet. In the afternoon (16-17) a small meal is served, it could be soup, cake or a dessert. Breakfast is continental (and scramble eggs). It is possible to make a lunch basket in the morning. Drinks all day, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, beer, wine and soft drinks. Other drinks will be charged. You have the same table for every meal, this is super and good organized. A wish for the next time… It would be perfect if the breakfast could start at 7.00 instead of 7.30. The first ski bus goes at 8.00, so you only have 20-25 minutes to eat your breakfast, brush your teeth and be ready to leave the hotel at 7.55. We love the slopes in the morning, so we would really like to be ready when the lift opens in Lofer at 8.30. Off course we could take the car, but if we want to enjoy a drink on the slopes, it is perfect with the ski bus. Otherwise it is a nice hotel and we would love to come again. ?

Fantastic stay
Reviewed By travelers229This holiday home is instantly comfortable. Every detail had been thought of, even a big carport for your car and insect screens in front of the windows. The host is very helpfull, welcoming and kind. Location was perfect, very quit and beautiful views. I would definitely recommand this holiday home!!!

It was a bed, but we won't be back
Reviewed By spamobileBooked this online and on arrival it took considerable time to get checked in and it was not clear which entrance to take actually, it seemed nobody spoke English and my German is pretty poor at best. The room, basic and dated, nothing to write home about really. We thought it to be great to eat there though, but, it would have been faster to drive to the nearest town, search for a place to eat, eat, and drive back. And the food quality was also not of the best, eatable but that was about it. Sorry, hope others have a better experience but we won't be back as the price vs quality was not up to par I am afraid.

Reviewed By janfl444Velmi dobré ubytování, čistota, bohatá snídaně, moc příjemní a ochotní majitelé, zastávka Skibusu téměř před domem, ezproblémové parkování kolem domu. Do Loferu se dá jít i pěšky - cca.1,5km, Billa cca. 1km. Kolem 3 restaurace a jedno výborné pekařství.

Reviewed By Tol001Ruim en schoon appartement op fijne afstand van skigebied Lofer. Aardig stel dat de boerderij met verblijf draait. Kindvriendelijk met zowel boerderijdieren als lieve hond. Auto onder carport. Prachtig gelegen.
