The worst hotel in Qro
Reviewed By zayde1709So, I booked a couple of nights to enjoy time with my boyfriend’s family, and we didn’t know this would be the worst. At night, as I was turning down my bed to go to sleep, I found a pair of cockroach legs in the sheets. It should be noted that there is no phone in the room, so my boyfriend called from his room to a call center of the Mission hotels, where he complained and asked to change our room, to which they replied yes and gave us no further response. As we gathered our things and waited for someone to arrive to change our room, half an hour passed without any response. My boyfriend and I went to the reception, where we were not asked for an apology or anything, the receptionist simply told us "take your key and bring me the other one", in a rude and haughty tone. NO ONE CAME TO HELP US WITH OUR BAGS AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS. After that, when I checked the new room I found that the blankets were dirty with a dripping liquid, we were very disgusted, but we were already tired, cause all this happened at 1 am, so we just decided to take off the blankets and just sleep. In my opinion, there are much cheaper and better quality hotels in San Juan del Rio, than this one; if you are planning to stay here, think about it and don't do it; the cleanliness really leaves much to be desired, and even more with this covid issue, is it that they don't even change the sheets and sanitize after a guest leaves the hotel?

Worst stay ever! Floor trembles and noise of big machinery will keep you unrested along all night
Reviewed By Javier ZTremble started close to the midnight all over to 8 am, I am unrest and when I call to the front desk, they told me they was already aware of the noise, but it is out of their hands; even worst, they told me some rooms were not affected by that noise and yet they accommodate me in this room.

Reviewed By Luna's CGreat hotel, excellent location, beautiful iconic building, great beds and big rooms, slow wifi, there's no coffee in the room nor at the front desk. Customer service is terrible, lazy staff there were 2 people at the front desk. The guy was not to happy we asked to be helped to unload the luggage, but they don't have a bellboy. We asked the same guy for an iron and never arrived to the room. The female receptionist was setting down, not greeting guests. Disappointing!

Reviewed By SMA51This hotel is difficult to rate. Some very good experiences and some unacceptable. The uneven nature of it all results in 3 stars. It could be so much more. Good: Grounds - wonderful, a joy to see and walk Hotel- an amazing structure - puts one into Europe as we wandered the long, empty halls Room - although in need of updating (see below), the bed was good and the reading lights were a nice add. Vanity in the bathroom was too small. Covid cleaning and prevention - well done! Staff - friendly, and mostly well trained. Dining room - the fire in the morning was a nice touch. Restrooms - in the public areas were pristine. Not so good: Internet - none or spotty in the dining area, yet they insist guests use online menus Rooms - need updating Air conditioner in room did not effectively cool and had to open the door to the terrace at night Food - average, nothing special Service - Friendly but dinner service was slow and had to look for our server to get a check. Breakfast was the same - hard to get a second cup of coffee No charges to the room - had to pay as we went - pool service, dinner, breakfast. Very distracting. Had to carry cash or a credit card everywhere. Pool - a beautiful pool, but filled with leaves Net: If Fiesta Americana Can resolve a few issues, this hotel could be a 4.5.

Breakfast buffet was good but Dinner buffet was even better, food was high quality and professionally presented. I chose to eat everynight during my visit at the hotel. I have been here a few times before but it just gets better with each visit. Keep up and the good work and thank you.

Reviewed By AdcastIf you are going to a wedding to san juan del rio or tequisquiapan this is a perfect choice at this time because the rooms are very nice for the low rate that you pay. I am guessing that rates will go higher as soon as the pool and other premises are ready, but for now the main building with the lodging and restaurant areas are fully operational, newly and nice.
