Reviewed By BruceS9876The hotel is very nice. What makes it exceptional is the staff. It started with an issue in the room where the sink stand broke. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. Of course I packed my stuff, but the hotel staff moved everything, including what was in the refrigerator. The front desk staff treat you like you are in the fanciest hotel. Even at the breakfast, the staff say good morning and get you more of what you need. I have already booked my next stay.

Great location and amenities
Reviewed By maqujuprobably one of the best La Quintas I’ve stayed at so far! The location was really nice as it was close enough to downtown San Jose without the cost of being downtown. Service and staff were lovely and I can’t thank Dina (I think that’s her name, forgive me if I’m wrong) enough for being such a pleasure to work with and a great start to my morning! Housekeeping was amazing, and they did a wonderful job refreshing our room. Breakfast was excellent and the best part was that it was different items each day which made the breakfast something to look forward to. The only downside were the noisy upstairs and next door neighbors but that isn’t always something that can be controlled, otherwise it was a pleasant stay! I can see and understand why this location is highly rated! Will definitely come back to stay again soon :)

Clean, Spacious, and Friendly Staff
Reviewed By PythoniteHyatt San Jose Airport is a very nice place to stay. It is spacious (suites as a matter of course! Yes, please!), friendly staff, very clean, comfortable. Also, there is free breakfast if you can get up early enough. (I couldn't but had to last time I stayed there, and it was good.) Location isn't the most ideal, but they can't help that, and the cheaper price makes up for it. :) Only complaint is that everything is feathers (pillows & comforter) and they don't warn those of us with allergies about that on the website in advance. But otherwise, 10/10. Staff, especially, deserves praise: VERY friendly and kind and accommodating and helpful and knowledgable. :)

Reviewed By S LNon-nonsense, simple facility with all you need for a few nights stay - breakfast, microwave and refrigerator and excellent location either to go into the central city or to get on the freeways. The only down side was we got our wakeup call 25 minutes late. Luckily we were up!

A Nice Surprise in San Jose!
Reviewed By Anglophile13Our room was great, clean and cheerful. Reception was good when checking in. We loved the pool (even though it was a bit cool), and dinner was delicious. One small "complaint"....the signage is awful, both outside where the numbers on buildings do not match the range of room numbers inside, and the inside signage...trying to find the elevator was a nightmare!). Also, a maid knocked on our door to clean the room before 9:00am....we were not checking out so rather annoying! Otherwise a nice stay....we will be back!

Reviewed By wrngler36The walls are so thin you can hear the people talking in the next room. If a T.V. is on you get to hear that also. One night the person in the room next to me was on a conference call and I could hear their entire conversation. Another night, I think Sasquatch was in the room above me. I could hear every footstep. The first night a co-worker got his truck broken into and the staff was sympathetic but said there was nothing they could do. The street noise is off the charts. If a vehicle makes a noise, you can hear it. Let alone the idiots in the high-performance cars racing from light to light all night. It's so bad, you can hear people coming and going to and from their cars talking and laughing and the car doors closing. And I was on the second floor. The last night someone was doing donuts in the parking lot where the guest parking is. The parking is dark with no security. That was the final straw. I left a day early and got another hotel. I will never stay at an ALOFT again. It was a sleepless horrible experience. Also, the beds are so hard it's like trying to sleep on a pool table. I went out and bought an air mattress in an attempt to get some better sleep. Didn't help much because of the noise.

Reviewed By Simone13Bunique rooms and great service. Restaurant was closed but there are lots of choices 1 block away at San Pedro Square. I used to live in SJ and recommend all of them. No robes in room, not sure if you need to request but I do like them. I notice Hyatt at Monterey didn't have them either. It's ok, first world problem. Front desk and valet very friendly and helpful. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and spent our wedding night there, and the staff gave us a card and champagne. Very sweet, thank you! oh ya, they also provided ear plugs which was thoughtful, never had that before.

Reviewed By HmteodorHad an absolutely amazing experience at the Homewood Suites San Jose Airport, from the moment I was warmly greeted by Andrew at reception through after the checkout process when Yolanda and Tammi helped find my wife’s lost glasses in the room (big, big thank you to them!). We traveled there for a wedding nearby and the hotel was conveniently located and had nice suites, while also being highly recommended and within the Hilton network. The hotel has a lot of parking; very nice and new looking suites; great breakfast; and really wonderful staff. Makes you feel like a home away from home! Andrew welcomed us when we checked in and gave us a free upgrade as part of our Hilton loyalty rewards (thanks, Andrew!). The suite was very comfortable and everything was new. Had a very healthy breakfast the following day. The area is safe and pretty easy to get to from the airport. We had a small mishap as my wife lost her glasses but we called the hotel and by the time we got back from the wedding venue Yolanda and Tammi had found them and saved the day. Tammi was very kind to call us as soon as the glasses were found. Really kind and welcoming staff - a special thank you to Tammi, Yolanda, and Andrew! Will plan to stay again my next time in San Jose!
