Breakfast was good and the room was excellent . Rodez as a city is worth a visit but do not concentrate on the cathedral - there is much more than that in the town. plus the golf course is good.

Very good value for money
Reviewed By kkimur356602It was good choice in Rodez. It is located in the middle of city and walkable to my work place. The room was clean and all correct, and the staffs were kind. The price is good and when you look at the price and the quality of room, I find very good value for money. It is in the old fashon building so door looked old but the room interior is quite modern and easy to use. As a business traveller I forcus on a good desk and working wifi which were good. The bed was also comfortable. There was no tea an coffee maker in a room and It was basic, but good basic.

Reviewed By KriszediPerfect place for spending the night by passing in the région. For the payed price you'll have a quite big room wit double bed if you choose this option. It is very clean, shower works well and the personal is friendly and nice. It has lots of parking places also with free parking.

Reviewed By Morag Et Gerard JWell the place is clean and well maintained and very well located but a couple of things made us feel a bit disappointed. Although we booked a larger room at a higher price it really was pretty small and although a fan is provided you'd hope for air conditioning. The main disappointment was that we were not told the door is locked pretty early and weren't given a code to get in. Fortunately we were able to find a number for the hotel on the internet that somebody did answere and who gave us a code that let us in or else we would have been locked out with all are luggage locked inside! If anyone reads this review and apologises then it was probably a rare mistake but if not then you have been warned!!.......

Reviewed By SavvyTraveler1953Even if only for a quick overnight stay, the hotel & garden were worth the stop. Relaxing garden with lovely spots to sit and read amongst the flowering plants. Rooms quiet, comfortable and the breakfast buffet was ample and tasty. Walked down the hill to a good brasserie (Gaston) for an easy supper and enjoyed being so close to the town's cultural venues (Musee Soulanges, cathedrale, etc.).

Reviewed By pebejayAs a regular client of Ibis in France we have become accustomed to the refurbishment programme over the last few years so was surprised that the programme doesn't appear to have reached Rodez, The room was a little 'tired' and the shower was an extension of the bath taps, so standing in the bath to shower was dangerous as there was no anti-slip provision. Although described as Rodez Centre, the hotel is sited at the bottom of very steep incline with the centre, housing all the sites, sights and restaurants, at the top. Definitely not for those with reduced mobility.

Reviewed By Elaine BThis Campanile has yet to be remodernised. Having said that the room was clean and comfortable and breakfast and dinner were both good. This hotel seemed a little short of staff as the same lady was doing reception work, serving on tables and dealing with the buffet.

They went the extra to accommodate us and it was much appreciated. Quirkiness is the thing with this place and the location is perfect. many thanks

Clean, good price and central
Reviewed By Peter ELe Concorde was closed when I arrived with a note to say collect the keys from the Hotel du Midi across the road. The staff there were very helpful and offered to lock my motorcycle in a secure garage for the night. The room was clean and functional. The breakfast was a good continental buffet. The only problem was that the day had been very hot 40+C (105F) and the room was very hot and hard to cool down - I told the staff that the shutters should have been closed and they agreed this should have been done. It is situated in the old town by the cathederal and local bars and restaurants.
