It was my second visit to the hotel. Stayed in one of the pool rooms which was divine. I Would like to return in Summer to enjoy the pool. The food in the restaurant was next level. All the staff were wonderful especially Tino. Enjoyed the spa. Will definitely return for another visit.

We received the warmest and friendliest service from the moment we arrived and immediately felt welcome and relaxed. There are quite a few things to do at and around TheLab. Our room also got cleaned daily, which is a really nice service. We cannot stop talking about this stay (and the best breakfast ever!) - highly recommended.

A lovely home which we have turned into a guesthouse. We have five lovely big bedrooms with en suite bathrooms - shower, no bath. The bedrooms are decorated with antique furniture. A communal lounge is available to sit and chat, read a book or play games. We have a braai/barbeque area which leads on to the pool where you can sit and relax
We spent 2 nights there, in the Jasmine suite. It's well appointed, with an air conditioner, small fridge and all the creature comforts that guests might expect. Beautifully furnished as well. Wendi also insisted on helping carry our luggage to our suite. She cooked wonderful breakfasts. Her warm and friendly manner was a delight. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you, Wendi.

Private, romantic, self-catering cottages nestled at the foot of the majestic Langeberg mountains near Robertson. Less then 2 hours from Cape Town you can find peace and privacy. Each cottage is fully equipped and elegantly furnished with a private pool, wide verandahs, indoor and outdoor fireplaces and breathtaking views.
The private and well-equipped Quince Cottage at Tierhoek Cottages was just what we needed! Four nights of quiet, stars and braais, and three days of early morning walks, long brunches, and parking at the pool. We loved the layout of the cottage, different braai place options, the bath with a view (!), and staring at the red sunset mountains from the stoep. All within two hours from Cape Town. We left refreshed and relaxed, and can't wait to return!

I grew up a few minutes away from Fraai Uitzicht in Klaasvoogds, Robertson and really wanted to have our engagement dinner there since my family would not be able to make it to the UK for the wedding with travel being so difficult at the moment. The setting is so stunning, it's take-your-breathe-away beautiful. Due to covid, they sadly do not take tables at the moment unless you are staying there but the manager Jonine was so lovely and made an exception for us. We worked with her by pre-ordering so they did not have to get extra food in just for us that may go to waste. The evening was amazing! It was 37 degrees that day (so a little bit hot, not complaining btw) but the perfect evening once the sun went down. The food was absolutely delicious and they have a fabulous wine list too, and you cannot fault the service. We had the best night, thank you so much again!

Accommodation in fully equipped self-catering 2-sleeper and 4-sleeper cottages on a farm offering a stay connected to nature and farm life and with stunning mountain views.
We attended the 90th anniversary celebration of the organ at the Dutch reformed Church in Robertson and found the De Hoop cottages on Lekkeslaap website. The cottages are clean and tidy and 100% for a weekend break away. VERY quiet hide away. VERY friendly hosts. First night we were very very cold in spite of the wall heaters which unfortunately made no difference - but the next night we made a fire in the built in braai and all was well. Value for money - good. We are just very sad that the farm itself is in a sad state. secondly maybe the hosts can provide firewood of which there is plenty and thirdly I would chop down the blue gum trees on the north side of the cottages to allow the sun in and to enable an uninterrupted view of the beautiful mountains. Will we go there again? Yes!

What a magical experience, Returning to Cape Town we stopped over for a night. Looking for something different we decided to try Africamps out. Everything you could have wished for was catered for in the camp. The dam was beautiful and a few of us swam. How refreshing, the vistas were spectacular as you looked down the valley and up against the far mountain. The tent was warm the water pressure brilliant and the indoor fire place very cozy indeed. I will certainly return, perhaps a new one in KZN will call my name.

We had a lovely stay at House of Pinardt! Our room was stunning, with good-quality bedding and a very nice, modern bathroom. There is a shared kitchen area that we used to make coffee, but there were coffee things in our room as well. The guest house is situated in a stunning old house that has been beautifully restored and modernised, and we had everything we needed.
