I’m a travel nurse, I only stay at Hampton Inns because of the high standards. This stay was an exemption to all of my other stays at HI. So many bad experiences from no Wi-Fi, even though I was charged for it, to HORRIBLE CLEANING service DON’T!

We ate at Las Campanas the mimosa delish, Breakfast and Dinner at the Mission Inn restaurant DJ on Saturday at poolside loved it. Only hiccup or could have gone without was Ruth the Towel Nazi, at the pool, made a comment in spanish that we goin in and out and use the towel needless to say I didn't listen to her and threw my wet towel in the cart and got a fresh dry towel. other than that everyone was so professional and friendly. will be back mos def

I chose this for its location and price. I was delighted by the size of my room and, even though I was on a low floor, the sense of air and light TERRIFIC staff! I did not use pool or fitness center but they seemed adequate for a short stay.

We needed to break up a long drive home from Temecula to the Central Coast, so we booked a room a bit closer to home. Rooms in the Temecula area are super expensive this time of year, so we shopped for a good value, crossed our fingers and said we would not stay if it was at all sketchy. Now pleasantly surprised we were to find the front desk clerk very affable and helpful, the parking lot was almost full and the room, while anything but luxurious, was very clean. It is a motel style location and our car was parked outside our room. The shutters on the windows provided excellent privacy. Being in downtown Riverside there were occasional sirens, but really not too bad. Good place to sleep in a comfortable bed. Good value.

I was in town for a basketball tournament in Corona. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. The area has nice trails along the riverside park with beautiful trees providing shade along the way. Upon arriving home, I found that I hade left my Sonicare toothbrush behind in the room. Michelle and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful in locating it and letting me know how to send a prepaid label for its return. I had it back before the next weekend. Great stay and will stay there again when in the area for another tournament in July.

Room wasn’t ready to check in till 9:50pm!! Went and checked in at 2:45pm. Front desk said that they were running a little behind and won’t be ready till 6pm. That’s kind of ridiculous but I was meeting friends for late lunch downtown anyways. So about 7pm, I came in to the lobby to check in and was told 9pm. At this point I was kinda pissed but I didn’t want to make a scene. So I sat in the lobby for about half an hour cause the bar was closed do to California covid restrictions and decided to grab a drink a block away at a bar that was actually open. Just before 9pm rolls around, I still haven’t got my room and went to the front desk to check in and was told that it still wasn’t ready and they would call me. Mind you, this is the forth person I’ve talked to from the front desk since 2:45. The front desk were a bunch of “I just got here and I don’t know what’s going on” personalities. The last employee that said that they would “call me” had the “I can give two chits” about my room being ready or not. So I’m walking aimlessly around downtown, and about 9:50pm my phone rings to tell me that my room is ready. No apology. No care for concern. All I did was inconvenience them by asking for my room that I paid $220 per night for. I understand that it was California covid season and that’s why I didn’t go “Karen” on them, but when I called to get an explanation on to why I didn’t get checked in my room to about 10pm, it was the same bs runaround excuse, that there wasn’t one available for me till that time of night? They never really explained why. I wish I could have canceled and booked elsewhere but you know how riverside is, last min bookings are double (if you find something available). I wouldn’t stay there again. For $220 a night, I’d stay at the Mission Inn. Garbage team. Not even an honest apology.

I booked this hotel months in advance for new year's eve (and paid for in advance through Chase portal) for 2 double beds. When I arrived, I'm given one king bed to fit FOUR ADULTS. According to the property manager, their system claims I booked a king sized bed when my email reservation AND Chase's system clearly states 2 double beds. I tried to rectify the situation with the property only to get deflected to talk to chase first before Marriott can do anything. They deflect further and said we're not the only ones who had this "system bug" where they were given a king bed instead of 2 doubles, as if that's an acceptable excuse. Property manager proposed I could try to stay elsewhere...on new year's eve where the surrounding 20 miles are all completely booked. I asked for a full refund for this egregious mistake and all they could offer me was $50 + free parking (total value $20). They had no roll out beds available or couch in the room either so imagine my dismay when we're trying to fit 4 people comfortably. They offered us blankets and pillows to sleep on the ground. I normally would not go so far as to write a complaint such as this but when I contacted Chase Travel, I spoke to their supervisor. She tried to contact this property with me on the phone and repeatedly got hung up on. This is completely unacceptable customer service, and I am severely disappointed in Marriott. To anyone reading this, please be aware that if you book anything through a portal, call to double check with the hotel that it truly is what you reserved.

First let me note that the location of this hotel is great. We are less than 15 minutes away from all different restaurants which is very convenient. Checking into the hotel was very easy and took only 5 minutes. I got a king bed room with a double bed sofa. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The water pressure is also really strong. Unfortunately I wasnt able to join the complimentary breakfast at all but, they do have a lot of options to choose from. Overall the quality inn at riverside is a good stay and the price is unbeatable.
