Beautiful hotel, recently renovated in alpine mediterrean style , perfect position for summer sports & skiing in winter, very nice spa for adults and families, outstanding cuisine, top service with a very personal touch
We had a fabulous stay at the Rudolf, we were made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The staff were really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent. Ski shuttle service was brilliant, lockers and facilities really good. Really couldn’t recommend this hotel enough and will certainly return.

Our accommodation is located in a quiet and sunny location in the centre of Reischach. It is situated near the cable cars leading to the Kronplatz, South Tyrol’s mountain famous for its hiking and skiing activities, and to the picturesque town of Bruneck in the heart of the Puster Valley. Comfy rooms and suites, which you can also book with our delicious breakfast as an additional extra, await guests in our 3-star hotel at the Kronplatz mountain. The Feldmessner is also very popular because of its strategic position: both the town of Bruneck and the Kronplatz mountain can be easily reached on foot or with the free bus from here. Impressive ski resorts and cross-country ski trails, beautiful walking and hiking paths leading to the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or the nature parks as well as countless other adventures in a glorious mountain setting are right on our doorstep.. Guests with dogs are more than welcome to stay with us: your well-behaved four-legged friends will feel at ease in our hotel. In addition to the hotel’s outdoor swimming pool (heated until the end of November - in winter cold water pool after your sauna session), Whirlpool and saunas, guests staying in our 3-star hotel at the Kronplatz mountain also have access to the excellent facilities at the Cron4 spa paradise in Reischach.
The breakfast was the best I'we had in a long while. The sauna with eterical ambiance was wonderful. Friendly staff, incredible amenities, walking distance from Kronplatz ski lifts... We had a really lovely time.

We are delighted that you'll spend your holidays in Riscone and are looking forward to welcoming you at our Hotel which is situated at the foot of the Plan de Corones mountain. We're conveniently located in the middle of a marvellous landscape and just a few minutes away from Brunico by car, the capital of the Val Pusteria. We are an adorable, quaint hotel with 23 rooms that's been run with love for over 30 years. The Micheli family is well known throughout the region for spending the greatest attention to small details and has a philosophy based on providing unmatched hospitality to each and every guest.
Nice hotel, with swimming pool and two saunas. The space for skis and ski boots is heated and large enough. A hotel van drives to the ski slope. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, the bathroom large enough. The food is excellent, the dinner is a culinary experience.

From mountain lovers for mountain lovers - a Kronplatz resort inspired by the passion of South Tyrolean mountain sports legends, the diversity of the mountains of South Tyrol, and the creativity of star designer Matteo Thun. The 5-star Falkensteiner Hotel Kronplatz is the new hot spot for adult guests and offers unique experiences on and around the best mountain for activities in South Tyrol: Welcome home at Kronplatz!
I would like to make clear that I am reviewing this hotel though the prism of a 5* resort stay and services level it advertises. We like to travel and I vast majority of time chose good hotels (4*s/5*). This is also why we have selected Falkensteiner Kronplatz as our adults-weekend getaway destination and we did have accordingly high expectations based on hotel's webpage and some reviews here. We left with mixed feelings, here is why: 1) the architecture and infrastructure of the hotel were really great. Rooms are comfortable, warm and nice, very functional, with touch of active-lifestyle accessories. 2) Excellent SPA, especially finish sauna on 3rd floor and outdoor pool (all naked area). Special thanks to a lady that was running the sauna program, as she really stood out compared to other colleagues, with her attitude, engagement and skill. Also Hamam exceeded our expectations, as we did not see similar one in any skiing hotels (with towels, soap, mud..). There are lots of quiet rooms available, so plenty of space to relax. These are tastefully decorated, playing relaxation/mediation music, with dimmed ambient lights. Great SPA experience. 3) Location is good, but a bit strange (from window you look at messy next door farm backyard). This new hotel was squeezed between existing buildings. I found it strange, but not disturbing. Perhaps 100m to cable-car, with shuttle available (as you would expect for this type of resort), which also picks you up upon request. 4) SERVICE: For sure not 5* and not even close! We had way better service is some 4* hotels around the Alps or even Kronplatz area. Majority of staff are young and lacks experience at the level the hotels tries to position itself. Majority seems to be from Spain or other EU countries and some seem like they are here on a student exchange (not even hospitality training). You will not see many smiles or feel warm hospitality. Overall lack of professionalism you should get in a 5* resort. It seemed like you would take 3* staff and moved them in a 5* establishment. This does not work. Price tag of room rate should be reflected also is salaries (and/or quality) of the staff. 5) FOOD. Biggest disappointment was the culinary part. I can not say it was overall bad, but here expectations were really high, as hotel advertises its gourmet experience with 7 summits restaurant. Some tips: - Restaurant manager should be replaced. I have never seen this guy with a smile on his face, be interested in guests' experience. Most of the time, he was nervously walking around like he is in a hurry, but I never saw him jumping in, when staff got a bit lost. Breakfast is advertised to be available until 11am. One day we came 10.30 and were asked to sit in bar like tables, as the staff was already preparing the "regular" tables opposite the kitchen for dinner?? A couple came 10:50 and the staff was actually already cleaning the buffet, wrapping the speck and cheeses and plastic wraps IN FRONT OF THE GUESTS! I found this outrages and and it gives a guests a feeling to be a burden. From expectation of relaxed "late breakfast", you are somehow rushed, while staff is already preparing the tables, lining tablecloths (with cables, etc), during breakfast time... You think: should I come earlier next day not to bother the staff (who clearly is not interested in your experience, but their time consumption and time plan). The restaurant manager was there as well, but did not seem to be bothered by that. - Food is OK, but I had better in some 4* resorts. The 7Summits trick does not work - eg. Ceviche (one of signature dishes) was a joke. Large pieces of "daily" fish (which waiter did not know the name), missing cilantro (stated in menu), without any taste and spice. You can say I am picky, but this is not just a regular skiing hotel, we came for (and paid) 7Summits culinary experience which is advertised as "In addition to our accomplished chef Reinhard Daverda, various guest chefs who are among the "Best 100" in the world are regularly invited to a culinary 7Summit Supper Club event at our hotel". "Life cooking" were most of the time 2-4 young boys, totally without energy, preparing the dishes. "Open bakery" were two ovens, that did not produce bread (when we were there) and I would bet that all the bread served was in fact purchased outside (as was the same as in another hotel down the road we stayed 3 weeks ago). - Breakfast OK, but nothing to write home about. A freshly baked bread, fruits and a juicer, better "a la carte" section, would make a big difference (I had egg Benedict with spinach one day (with dry-out spinach), fried egg under-cooked, crepes cold?). To summarise: all is there on paper, but nothing exceeds the standard offering of competition. - Wine list very good, also other drinks. Prices are high, but I would say in range of 5* hotel - Staff needs some skills. They should know how to present the dishes, what are the main ingredients. More attentiveness. The above is really a shame, as the infrastructure of the restaurant/ open kitchen area offers so much chances for a really unique experience, but is not used as it could be. All in all we had a good time, but will most likely choose another hotel next time, as I do not think the value for money ratio is appropriate or fair. A mandatory daily charge of 20EUR for parking (garage only) is one of such examples. Hotel could either (a) include this in a room rate (as 20EUR increase would not make a big difference), or (b) clearly state it upon reservation, so people expect it. No big deal, but leaves a strange feeling. Advice to the owners of this establishment - send some service evaluators (hidden guests), work with right management team and replace people that are here just for their salary and do not enjoy their work or understand the hospitality business on this level. Infrastructure offers so much, just add corresponding service and it could become one of the best hotels around.

Wanted a 10-days ski escape in Europe and opted for Brunico. Not really planned on time, found Royal Hinterhuber, contacted them and yes, they kindly replied with an integrated offer. Keeping my interest and curiosity vivid with interesting information and regular though not disturbing mails, Helmi and Team made me really excited. Well, arrived after a 10hours drive, I was taken to my room which was not exactly the one described in the offer. When I noted that in a mail, response was immediate; first a not very pleasant but almost rude, then after talking to Helmi, they realized the hick up and offered all meals for my staying! Positive point 1! Caring and welcoming, they asked for my ski plans and offered advice which was to the point and highly appreciated! An afternoon I returned from a long day skiing, I was also pleasantly surprised when I was offered a massage in the Spa to relax and enjoy. Positive point 2! The F & B Staff was awesome, also interested in every culinary detail or beverage preference. Had some good wine suggestions and always remember my doppio in the morning or my favorite eggs. Positive point 3! If I have to name, it's difficult, they were all smiling and nice. But I cannot resist giving an extra star and hearty thank you to Mamdouh at the reception, for his kindness and swift response to questions and quests even before my decision to spend a few days @the Royal Hinterhuber, as well as our common interest and love for Asian noble martial arts, and Simon, the sweet smiling face and heart in the breakfast and dining room, trying to find the best wine to accompany my meal, accelerating the process to offer me my first coffee of the day or teaching me Italian! Infrastructure and hospitality wise: The room was nice, the Penthouse suite, with mountain view and a nice shared balcony with the adjacent room. The mattress was really extraordinary, especially for active guests spending time in sports and tiring their spine and back: comfortable but rigid offered great relax and recovery along with a good night sleep. Warm and cozy too, with adequate furniture, lighting and storage room. The bath had both a shower and a tub, which however did not have a curtain and if selected then the bathroom turned into a swimming pool. Soap, shower gel and shampoo wise, limited offer and quantity. Could also help to offer toothbrush and toothpaste kit along with a small sponge and shaving kit... it's a 4S hotel! Bottled water in the fridge, not having a variety of drinks or snacks... charged water rather expensively. Could do better. However, the slippers were nice and comfortable, a pair in common ladies' sizes and a pair in common mens' sizes! Could also opt for flip flops as they offered SPA/pool towels and was not easy to walk around slippery and wet areas with the slippers. SPA area: different options of hot tubs and saunas, small towels offered especially for those guests who preferred to use naked. I did not really appreciated the nudist aspect especially in a hotel spa where different guests from different cultures meet and share the same facilities. Not to mention hygienic concerns... My massage: given by Helena, was supposed to be a full body massage. However it was mainly a back massage. Head was not even touched same as the arms and hands...need a bit of effort to match the description of the service. Overall, it was good but needed some additional points and care. Had a few hick ups and points that could be improved, such as the breakfast buffet; rich, but repetitive and boring. Could have different charcuterie options from the region, or cheese, even eggs and sweets... did not see chocolate croissants although easy to find and good to offer to kids, no famous spek, or strundel....unfortunately, every day, same stuff. Would love a bit more, such as the lovely myrtilles jam you offered me on check out! Overall, a lovely place to stay, close to the ski center, offering a ski bus everyday at time of guest convenience. With a lovely staff above all! A must go and a certainly will visit again!

Guests of the Hotel Reischach are thrilled by the comfortable, extremely spacious and tastefully furnished rooms, by a stylish dining room, a winter garden lightened with flair and the special atmosphere of a modern, but yet nevertheless personally designed hotel. A top-class skiing holiday is waiting for you here in South Tyrol in the skiing region Kronplatz: snow is guaranteed and so is a unique winter atmosphere, which you can only find in the Puster Valley. In summer you can explore countless opportunities to get in closer contact with the wonderful nature, experience outdoor activities in the mountains around Reischach and make excursions in the Rieserferner-Ahrn nature park and in the Dolomites. An interesting program of outdoor activities will turn your holiday in Hotel Reischach into an adventure.
Easy to find and in a good location. It's not far to take a cable car up the mountain, and the hotel is near a bank, a newsagen'ts, a bakery and a pharmacy. Plenty of parking in front of the hotel, and near the garden at the back. The garden itself is very well cared for, as is the whole hotel. There were lots of places to sit and read/relax with sofas along the corridor, a large bar and lounge area on the ground floor as well as seating in the garden. I was also impressed that the wifi worked throughout the building and throughout the garden area. The multilingual staff were friendly and helpful, taking an interest in all the guests. For breakfast there was a good variety of sweet and savoury food available. Dinner was delicious (I especially enjoyed the soups and desserts) and the presentation of each dish was refined. Being on the main road it would probably be better to have a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the garden and pool, but the traffic didn't disturb me. Maybe the sound of Church bells at 7am would be a little more muted at the rear too! Overall, very happy to have stayed here.

This place came as a big surprise for me. We haven't been planning to go to South Tyrol, yet due to early instable situation with Covid regulations between the countries, a few days before start of our planned vacations we've realized that our booking in Austria Alps won't suite the needs and is difficult to accept, hence a quick search of "something nice and family friendly, and on Italian side" led me to seeing this on booking. I've made a quick call to the hotel, to clarify my understanding of Covid regulations in Italy, and while speaking to them, I've got the offer for upcoming holidays - and the offer was truly great! Room, 3/4 pension, parking, etc - and just 4hrs drive away. The place is great, with outstanding friendly staff which operates perfectly, and with no less impressive and outstanding food service! While many of mountain hotels aka "Alpine lifestyle" are much the same in their offerings, I found a couple of very distinctive things which I've only seen at Petrus: - Walk with the dog offer, where the local family dog is "leased" for a few hours for a scenery hike around - Fresh mineral water available at the each floor of the hotel, where you just go and refill the carafe or your bottles. This was spot on, ultra convinient and healthy. - The massage offer for kids, in parallel to a parent. This was another unique thing, which our kid liked a lot and we went a couple of times. - There is multi-dish creative kids menu every dinner, with healthy tasting choices, which is much welcome thing and navigating away from usual so called "kids food" like fries, pizza and other fast food which unfortunately we see too often in the hotels. - The Spa and wellness facilities are split level, allowing kids to be next to the pool and even have a bio sauna and jacuzzi available next to it, while the main sauna complex is one floor down for adults only experience. This isn't particularly unique, yet having bio sauna with moderate heat available for kids is very cool and rare treat. The nature around was breathtaking, Spa and wellness facilities were amazing and it was 1st time in my travel life where I've actually cancelled another stay we had planned elsewhere, in favor to extend our stay at Petrus (btw, amazing flexibility by reception). We were left truly impressed and already booked the next stay within 2022 - and that's the best testament for hotel quality and service :)
