Bad experience due to false advertising
Reviewed By Stan97110If you want to stay in this hotel during summer and enjoy the pool then i highly suggest you to select another hotel. Indeed, we were supposed to stay 5 days... the night we arrived (around 7pm) our room was not ready and most importantly THE POOL was in maintenance. According to the management team and i quote « this occurs every summer as it is dry season and usually no one uses the pool during this period » .... an information that was NEVER mentioned anywhere. We made a claim to the booking company (EX****A) who badly handles our case despite all the proof we provided. Very disappointing experience

Reviewed By Sarah MThe Kintele Congress Center and Hotel is a beautiful place, located in the suburb area of Brazzaville. 40 minutes away from maya maya airport, depending on the traffic you may face. The grand hotel has most of the facilities you may need (free wifi, free car park, sauna, sport center, etc.). But, the quality of the staff's service is puzzling. Although most of them are quite helpful, they obviously aren't trained to meet their customers demands. One even found a way to argue loudly with a coworker in front of all the customers at the restaurant. The menu at the restaurant wasn't up to date. And I struggled to get a sauce, a desert, or even a piña colada, because of the lack of ingredients at the time. All in all, the grand hotel is a very fancy place, but they need to do better in the way the whole place is managed.

Reviewed By 703BillB703Hotel Pefaco in Maya Maya is bright and clean. The lobby is welcoming, and with the current art show, quite inviting. Staff are helpful. The grounds are spacious, and since the property is not much more than two years old, the landscaping will likely grow into pleasant gardens in time. At present the gardens get a bit waterlogged in the rainy season, and thus breeding sites for mosquitoes, one of which found its was into my room. There are two nice restaurants on the property, a gym and a large pool. The rooms are still in very good condition and well equipped. The free wifi seems to work on only some devices. Convenience to the airport, which is literally across the street, is a drawing point. Unfortunately the airport bank was closed when I arrived, and the exchange rate offered at the hotel was only 80% what was expected. The rooms have nice small balconies. An overall pleasant stay.

A weekend away
Reviewed By alegriav2021Such an elegant hotel. The entire staff was so kind and accommodating. The balcony had a gorgeous view of the ocean in the distance and the courtyard below. I couldn't have had a more relaxing stay. Oh and the food,it couldn't have been better. Love this hotel.

Excellent anti COVID-19 policy with mandatory facemasks, hydro alcoholic gels almost everywhere, disinfection sprayer, etc. There’s room for improvement for the restaurant and room service. Orders can take very long and the waiters need better training.

Reviewed By Remis28Nous y avons passé 3 nuits. La chambre exactement comme décrite en ligne: confortable et propre. Malgré les soucis d'électricité, l'équipe a tout fait pour nous maintenir dans les bonnes conditions. Et l'établissement est bien situé avec un bon rapport qualité-prix.
