The Rauriserhof is a family run 4* hotel in the beautiful region "Salzburgerland" national park Hohe Tauern near Zell am See. The hotel offers 65 rooms in different categories. The hotel is open during summer and winter season. Guest find a wide range of possibilities in the hotel: *pool and spa area *tennis courts (indoor and outdoor) *bike rental service *guided hiking tours from monday to friday (summer and winter) *family packages Most of the guests book the half board arrangement and enjoy the wonderful breakfast buffet, the afternoon snack and the different menus and theme nights in the restaurant.

We loved the outdoor pool for a morning swim and the food is 5 star too . Highly recommend . If you would like a spa break this hotel is perfect. Situated near the ski school in a very pretty village . Please note We booked with Iglu Ski , it was a Crystal ski holiday . The customer service is terrible they booked us a basic room no balcony and advertised the holiday as a superior room with balcony which I thought we had booked . Hours wait on phone iglu ski finally replied to us on email and told us it would be probably be £150-£200 per head to upgrade and they would ask Crystal Ski . No one bothered to reply or sort it out . Thank fully the hotel moved us to a nice room . This would have been so easy for Iglu ski to sort out but they just took our money and made it impossible to contact them or help us. Do not use Iglu ski book direct with hotel . But definitely give the hotel a visit it’s amazing .

Reviewed By edwardd958Ive eaten here for years and returned with friend and family over the last few weeks, 5 times in total. Always a warm welcome and exceptional food. Still my favourite place to eat in the valley. I highly recommend it! Especially the lamb, fillet steak and icecreams!

Reviewed By WilfredLeerA great place to stay in Rauris…. Friendly, clean, great space. The app is located in the center of Rauris. A supermarket is at 30 meters. Restaurants close by. A walk to the gondel for skiing is about 6 minutes.

Excellent location and charming owner
Reviewed By David SOriginally booked only room available but just before we arrived one of the other rooms with balcony became available. On arrival we were shown both and given the option to choose the one we wanted. Owner could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. Rooms were clean, excellent facilities and well equipped for self catering. Great central location. Will definitely be booking again next year.

Lovely dinner, good atmosphere
Reviewed By janshellzyWe had dinner in the restaurant, pork medallions in a creamy sauce, which was delicious and just what we wanted after a days driving to Rauris. We were made to feel welcome and the staff are very friendly. Clean and tidy restaurant, with a good atmosphere. I would recommend a visit.

Reviewed By alansO4390YCA lovely little hotel just on the edge of town. We had a top floor room in the back of the property and had a lovely view of the mountain. Breakfast was good for a continental breakfast and the host was always friendly. It was just a short walk to the ski bus outside hotel The only thing that I could say I would have liked is a kettle in our room so we could have a cup of tea without carrying it up 3 flights of stairs. The sauna downstairs was also nice but be aware that you are required to be naked.

Lovely cleaning ladies, friendly girls helping you with your llittle problems. Housewine is oké. Bed was to hard for me but oke for my husband. The new shower was sooooo good! We liked the Raurissertal, not crowdy and verry green.

The Schönblick Mountain Resort is located centrally in Rauris in the National Park Hohe Tauern. You can find 15 houses with 114 comfortable Appartements for a nice holiday. For a special relaxation there is an indoor swimming pool with a small outdoor pool, a sauna, a steam bath, an infrared cabine, a solarium and a room where you can book massages. Every house has a storage room for summer- and winter equipment. There is also a gym and a room with a washing machine and dryer for your laundry. You can park your car on the parking lot or in the underground parking (for a small charge). Only 300 meters from the Resort there is the Rauriser Hochalmbahn cable car. In winter the guest can go skiing, tobogganing and cross country skiing and in summer do wonderful hiking trips, searching for gold and watch the vultures. The centre from Rauris is only 200 meters from the Resort. Here you can find supermarkets, restaurants with good traditional food and all important things like a clothes store, butcher, bank office, pharmacy ...
Lovely Appartment in Pretty Village
Reviewed By bobbeattie61The appartment was spacious clean and well maintained with all the relevant appliances. Anything extra we required Johann in Reception was very happy to help. The appartment is well placed for the gondola in Rauris and many more ski resorts are a short car drive away. The village is a very pretty alpine village with many shops and places to eat and drink. There are also numerous ski shops. Would definitely recommend these appartments and will hopefully stay there again very soon.

Reviewed By szabolcst134The area is located in the nicest valley near Salzburg. The hotel itself is close to the centre and also close to hiking trails. Staff is very kind and helpful, rooms are neat and clean. I recommend, and will definately be back during winter time.

Absolutely Amazing Hotel.
Reviewed By KrissapsterThis hotel is absolutely amazing. We managed to book a late skiing deal through Crystal Ski and was pleased to choose this hotel. To start with, the lady on the front desk, who I assume is the owner is one of the hardest working managers I have ever seen. She is up early in the morning for breakfast and is helping out with serving dinner in the evening. She never takes any time off. She runs an extremely tight ship and her staff are very professional and always smiling. The hotel room was really nice - think of a Travel Lodge style with an Austrian take. The beds were amazingly comfortable with crisp clean sheets and linen. Flat screen TV, table and chairs, phone etc. The bathroom was very clean. And the shower, OMG the shower was epic. Hot and like a rainfall - Epic after a days skiing! Now, the best part of the hotel was the food. We went for the half board option and I can’t stress enough how good the food was. The breakfast was a mix of cereals, fruit, yogurts, meats, eggs, cheese, tomatoes, fresh orange or apple juice, tea and coffee on tap and bread rolls. The food was replenished very quickly by the staff, who always seem to be smiling. The evening meals were nothing short of amazing. The salad bar was plentiful and uniquely Austrian. The soup each day was freshly prepared and not from a packet. The main meals were beautifully cooked and presented - each night was a different dish. There were special themed occasions from candle light dinner to local market food to chefs special. The puddings were awesome each night. I can honestly say that the food from this hotel is some of the best food I have ever tasted. I actually came back from this skiing holiday weighing more than I did at the start of the holiday. There is a bar area so if you fancy a beer after dinner… The staff are all very helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. There is a big heated ski room for your ski equipment which has a separate entry door so that you’re not traipsing though the hotel with your ski equipment. You can access the ski room from inside the hotel in the morning. The ski room is locked at 8pm and is fully secure. We didn’t make use of the swimming pool or the sauna but to be fair, after a day skiing and epic food, we just vegged out in front of the TV. There is free Wi-Fi which is fast and reliable. This hotel is so good that we have booked to come skiing here again in Jan 2023.
