Standing high above the river and with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, Hacienda Buenavista offers tranquility and comfort as a luxury boutique hotel in Quindio, Colombia.
The Hacienda is a bit off the beaten track and it takes some time to get there, but it is worth the trip. The area is really extremely beautiful. From the Hacienda you have a breathtaking view on the scenery, the river and the surrounding hills. The best view you have from the pool, you could just sit there for hours and enjoy - this is the main reason to come here for me. And of course it is very quiet and you will have time to relax and unwind. The Hacienda has a large farm so you can have long walks within the property including a very nice waterfall- I highly recommend to do this walk. You can also do a river tour in a canoe and there are many excursions available like Cocora Valley, a must! If you like nature and beautiful scenery you will enjoy it. The Hacienda is built in an open plan, the main area consists of a dining area, two beautiful sitting areas and the pool with the stunning view. There are five rooms, built in a Spanish colonial style, they are spacious and gave a lot of space for your belongings. I recommend the room Ceiba with the best views. Please note they do not provide slippers. I liked their green approach, they only change towels if you require. The manager Floris, son of the owner is a extremely friendly and nice person, he is really a great host. Juan s also very nice and also fluent in English. The food is ok. Some dishes are very good, in particular the fresh fruit platter is excellent. Also the curry was very good. Unfortunately some dishes were overcooked like the rice and the fish. I would not call it Michelin star food, but still good food. Please note that breakfast is generally included but includes only a limited number of items. If you want granola with yoghurt and fruit, you need to pay for the granola (I don't care to pay extra, but it felt just a bit strange). If you love great scenery and want to unwind in a calm environment, this is the place to go. I can highly recommend it!

Finca Villa Nora is a heritage country house with more than 120 years of history and tradition in coffee culture. The house was built in the earlier 20th century and in the last two decades has been refurbished to provide the best accommodation for tourists in the coffee growing axis (Eje Cafetero - Quindio). The two-story house is a great example of the Antioquian Colonization Coffee Architecture with spacious corridors, terraces and a wide wraparound verandah. It provides wonderful views of our preserved Bamboo Forest (Guadua) and the majestic Andes Mountains which give visitors a unique sunrise and sunset experiences. Finca Villa Nora (finca is another word for hacienda) is located in Quimbaya in a perfect spot that's equidistant from the two main Park attractions in the region: The National Coffee Park (Parque Nacional del Cafe) and PANACA (Parque Nacional de la Cultura Agropecuaria) both only 20 minutes drive from the Finca, to where we can arrange transportation. The house is surrounded with more than 600 square meters of gardens with tropical uniquely different species of flowers and plants including 30 different species of heliconias and orchids, exotic trees and stunning butterflies and birds. We also provide a free tour of our coffee plantation or if you just want to relax you can enjoy all of this by the pool. We like to treat our guests with the highest quality of food that includes locally grown products and fruits like avocado, oranges, clementines grown in our garden and on arrival you can also try our famous coffee cocktail. During the last 20 years, Finca Villa Nora has been honoured to receive special guests including Juan Valdez the Colombian coffee icon; and high UNESCO diplomats who made the decision to grant the region a world heritage title - The Coffee Cultural Landscape (Paisaje Cultural Cafetero) for which we feel both, honoured and inspired. If you want to explore the Coffee Growing axis or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, there is no better place than Finca Villa Nora.
Nora and Roberto welcomed us in their home with open arms and were able to accommodate all of our requests - including booking an internal flight for us, finding us extra adapters and transformers to charge our electronics, personally driving us to town to run errands and organizing seamlessly our three days spent in Eje Cafetero through trusted transport companies to take us out to explore all that Quindio has to offer. The property is breathtaking and the hospitality truly special - delicious breakfast and three course dinner is prepared and served on sight by Nora and her wonderful helpers. We also highly recommend the tour of the Finca which includes a tour of the coffee plantations but also the private garden of the finca and an explanation of every tree and fruit that the garden holds - and it is a lot! We were lucky enough to be the only guests staying at the time and got full use of the pool, reading room and enjoyed the absolute peace and quiet that the property - all your hear most of the day is the array of birds inhabiting the garden, which is the perfect place to come back to in the evenings after exploring the region. Truly a wonderfully charming place not to miss during your visit to Eje Cafetero!

Only 34 kilometers from Armenia and 56 kilometers from Pereira you will fin the first agricultural-themed hotel in the world, with an infrastructure surrounded by a huge natural park that gives it its name and that involves all the philosophy of the countryside. Together with Decameron Las Heliconias, Decameron Panaca is one of the only two #AllInclusive hotels in the eje cafetero, one of the most representative and traditional regions of the south American nation, and that became known internationally due to the quality and originality of its emblematic export product: coffee. The hotel’s design, villas surrounded by huge grassy fields and forests, harmoniously integrate all the facilities in a typical country environment, with diverse interaction and entertainment spaces for adults and children. Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), this property is taking steps to help protect the safety of guests and staff. Certain services and amenities may be reduced or unavailable as a result.
It was a unique experience, a special place to spend time with the family. The Panaca Park makes the experience very special. We enjoyed it to the fullest. It is a highly recommended hotel for families with children.

In the fertile soils of the cultural mountain range known as the Colombian Coffee-Growers Axis "Eje Cafetero," the smoothest coffee in the world is grown by country folks such as Juan Valdez; it is the Colombian region famous for the growing and production of the softest coffee in the world. Traditional coffee haciendas appear amidst the plantations, of beautiful and colorful architecture and decorated with a profusion of flowers, at which the tourist can explore picturesque villages, spectacular natural environments such as Los Nevados National Park and visit interesting venues such as the Park of Coffee Culture of Agriculture and Livestock. the Hostal La Terraza is a modern building with tiles floor, located at the heart of the coffee region just 6 km natural park Panaca, and 15 to the Coffee Park with Wi-Fi, cable, hot water, room service, private bathrooms, kitchen, living and dining area. With 10 spacious and comfortable rooms and 2 completely furnished apartments.

It’s a very pretty hotel with beautiful gardens, very well maintained, very clean and the human team is efficient and friendly. Very few rooms have air conditioned and when we arrived to ours there was not. The bellboy, Andres, was very diligent and found an air conditioned room to move us. Rooms are large and confortable as well as the bathroom. Buffet breakfast was quite good, a large variety of food and many things prepared in from of the guests. Did not used the activities as we were visiting the region during the day.

We are a family company dedicated to the development of hotel and tourism industry in Quimbaya, Quindio, Colombia that provides a friendly and personalized service quality and satisfaction ensuring comfort to our guests.
I’d like to leave a comment here for ‘El Hotel Finca Los Mangos’. I’m Colombian, and for many years, I’ve been living in Canada! I wanted to show my daughters how beautiful Colombia is, and in the Colombian coffee zone (La Zona Cafetera), I found the perfect place! The hotel was placed in the perfect spot, it has the Coffee parks very close to it. Our hosts Albeiro and Carolina and their staff were very attentive to detail and to our very attention. The food was heavenly, the cleanliness of our rooms were impeccable as well. The staff were really friendly and attentive in every way. Our stay and everything was truly unforgettable.

Tourism Finca La Holanda , is the best alternative rural accommodation with excellent rooms, private bath , cable TV , hot water , wi fi and free parking . Cascade of 34 meters, ecological trail , fruit trees, green areas, diversity of birds, milking parlor , outdoor pool , delicious food of the region , coffee drinks and juices available during your stay . Hammocks , table games , playground, terrace, close to the main tourist attractions and more.
We were on a road trip and rarely booked a hotel in advance. Trying our luck is so much more adventurous. And lucky we were with this place. Room was a okay, although we think, looking at some pictures, there were better rooms. A fan on the ceiling would be so much better and better looking than the one standing in the room. Wifi is weak and only available in the central space. As we are a bit of digital nomads, internet is quite essential for us. We would have loved to stay longer with a better connection. The hotel is cozy and the few guests and the owners mingled easily. Friendly owners and staff. They serve simple but good dinners. The place is in the middle of nature and that is where it shines. And the star is a spectacular waterfall on the estate down in the valley. It's a steep walk but a must do.

The staff at Casa de los Nogales looks forward to serving you during your upcoming visit.
The hotel is rustic. If you're looking for a posh experience, this is not the place for you. However, if you're looking for authentic experiences and you have an open mind to the various possibilities, then I highly recommend you stay here. The hotel is a 10 minute drive to Panaca and another 20 minutes to Parque del Cafe. It's surrounded by beautiful plantain plantations and breathtaking views from the pool. The food is okay, authentic, but what really makes a difference is the service; in particular, Carolina. From the minute we set foot on the property, Carolina made it her mission to make us feel at home. A welcome coffee grown from the owner's farm, freshly squeezed orange juice from the trees nearby. A Turkish bath after a long day at Panaca and chill in the jacuzzi with a bottle of "guaro" and a Bluetooth speaker with the music we want? No problem. We were pampered and spoiled by "Carito"s" service. She does not speak English, but if you use Google Translate you should be OK. The rooms and bathrooms were big - granted we had a big family and likely were accommodated in the bigger rooms. Everything is clean and the beds were a bit on the hard side but comfortable with plenty of fresh pillows and linens. Very good value and incredible service. We will definitely come back.

I came with 9 adults and 4 kids and we had 3 rooms. Our opinions are all consistent. The site is colorful, the view and the ecological path they have is beautiful. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. The cleaning and bed service was great. The hotel is well located. It is about 30 minutes from Panaca, 20 minutes from el parque de cafe and 10-15 min from both Quimbaya and Montenegro. Breakfast was good but redundant. Fruits, natural juices, eggs to taste, arepa, bread (stale) and rice. It’s a secluded and relaxing area with a beautiful view. Staff was very nice and did all things possible to work with the limited resources they had. The pool area is nice. This place really has a lot of potential. That’s where the good things end. The web site depicts a luscious and well maintained area with a beautiful spa area. This place has been neglected. Horrible maintenance. None of the room phones work. Hundreds of bugs in bed and shower. Bath tub with black stains in all of our rooms. Our shower head was broken. Soap dispensers in shower full but not dispensing anything. Volleyball area with knee high weeds (cut the day before we left...great). Kids pool area dried and nonfunctional. Pool pump was “broken”. Beehive inside the kids play house/slide area. Kids trampoline was broken. The Jacuzzi by the cabanas was dried out and nonfunctional. Jacuzzi in main pool area was nonfunctional as heater was broken. Soap and toilet paper in public restroom near checkin was empty....for the entirety of our stay. The reception gave us the numbers for cabs but they could not make any calls for us as they Had no minutes to call cab. If we didn’t have our phone with local service we would have been screwed. Multiple fireplaces but none were ever lit. On Dec 31 No chicken or coke was available. WiFi is poor outside of the immediate checkin area. Cut glass pane in our bathroom with area exposed that could easily cut someone. There are 5 cabanas that are an ugly walk away from main “hotel/pool/restaurant area”. If you have young kids, a stroller or are elderly it is an uphill walk and not fun if you have to go back several times. The lighting is poor in that area so an evening walk may be difficult. There is a very nice nature walkway but areas to sit are full of knee high weeds and dirty. I understand this is nature but it would take no more than 5 minutes to clean and trim the weeds once a month. The only reason we didn’t leave after 1-2 days was how large our party was and the kids would’ve been a headache and finding another place at that time of year. We argued and finally received a discount. For the price we paid this was highway robbery. We called the owner and left a message but have not received a return call....it’s a month later. We also physically left multiple phone numbers to discuss and nothing. Unless this is changed there is no way I would ever go back. Beware and significantly temper expectations. Unfortunately, it is not allowing me to post pictures.
