The Panoramic Grand is located on a hill overlooking the Three Frontier landmark, just 15 minutes away from the Iguazu Falls and two blocks away from the town of Puerto Iguazu. This venue was built in the fifties by reknown arquitect Alejandro Bustillo, declared historical heritage by the local authorities. The Hotel was remodeled and features 91 rooms decorated in a contemporary minimalist style, keeping the original facade.
With a full renovation this can be a 4 star hotel again. The location is great and the staff is good, but the hotel itself is really run down. The pool is ok and the price level for food and drinks is good. The price for masasje is really good. The breakfast is basic. It feels and looks like a 3 star. The price is to high for a run down hotel.

the hotel is so big, and it has all the amenities, but the concierge doesn´t exist, he never could help us with a booking in a restaurant, the rooms are average, the curtains were unironed so they looked not nice, and the bathroom looked old and the hair dryer never worked

From before we even landed, the hotel set us up with a ride from the airport and our trip was sublime from there. (Extra.) Alejandro at the front desk helped us with all our activities and we had a wonderful time. The hotel itself is immaculate. The jungle is trying to overgrow the lodge constantly and there is literally staff hacking the jungle back so that the guests can be close to the jungle but still have clean pathways and lounge chairs with no plants on them. Our room looked out onto the jungle and we could sit outside and enjoy the sounds of the birds. The entire staff was incredibly polite and eager to please. The lodge itself is on a native reserve. On our last day, after we saw the falls from both Argentine and brazillian side, Alejandro arranged for some bikes to be brought for us so we could bike around. I saw more birds on a short bike ride around the reserve than I could count. This lodge is an opportunity to spend time in the jungle in complete luxury.

This hotel is walkable to Puerto Iguazu downtown where most of the bars and restaurants are located. The room was adequate for a one night stay and the hotel was clean and served continental breakfast which is common for most locations in Argentina. The onsite restaurant and bar was busy the night I stayed so guessing the food was good for the patrons.

All reception staff we dealt with were both friendly and knowledgeable. This made seeing the local area a lot easier. Rooms are a good size and clean. Good amenities, however pool seemed to be closed during our visit which may because this was low/winter season. You can walk into the local town for dinner - approx 25-30 mins.

I stayed here as part of a weekend trip to Iguassu from Buenos Aires. Overall my view is that this is a very average hotel: three star at best. Whilst the staff are friendly, the rooms are in need of a dire upgrade. I had to change rooms twice before I was allocated one that at least was functioning! The reception lobby is nice as is the restaurant but the pool area could also do with an upgrade. I only ate breakfast at the hotel which was just about of an acceptable quality. In terms of location it's not too far away from the airport or the falls and is walkable to the main area where the bars / restaurants are. It felt safe walking about. Turning right out of the main hotel gate you can reach the "Three frontiers" border where Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay meet. I didn't discover this until my second day - but there appear to be shows / entertainment put on here on some evenings. I chose this hotel based on price point and on the fact that I didn't intend to spend much time physically at the hotel: which was fine for the Saturday but on Sunday I ended up spending my time there are the Brazilian side of the falls were closed which wasn't a great experience! My overall view is that you are paying a lower price point for this hotel and is reflected in the quality of the hotel: if you're not intending to spent much time here other than sleep and you don't need luxury then my view is that this hotel is fine. However, if you're looking to spend some time at the hotel and / or want an element of luxury I would recommend spending a bit more and staying elsewhere.

An unique location on the three borders landmark, this sophisticated 5 stars, offer an amazing view on the junction of Parana and Iguazu River.
I came here with a tour group and the hotel was very nicely appointed and well located. Had breakfast and dinners and the food was all plentiful and good. I think the service was top notch, especially the front desk staff. I liked that you could walk across the street to the little market right on the rivers and also see the sunset. Great views of where the 3 countries meet. You can also easily walk into the town which was about 1 mile away (good shops and cafes). I also enjoyed the hot tub after a long day walking Iguazu falls. The only recommendation is to update the rooms which were a little outdated with décor, but otherwise very clean and comfortable. Having an outdoor balcony was awesome too!

This hotel was booked for us by Planet Cruise as part of a whole S American Package. It was represented as a FIVE star hotel, and that it certainly isn't. We were somewhat down hearted when we arrived, the welcome was fine as was the Foyer, but the whole place looked as if it needed a coat of paint and a good clean. No help with the bags was offered. Our double room on the first floor (second in US terms) was large, but rather dingy and the carpet definitely needed a good shampoo. It seemed a bit isolated so we went for the Supper in the restaurant, which was best got from the extensive buffet, with good choices and as much as you could eat, and we ordered a bottle of wine, which we consumed over the next days - it appears that selling a GLASS of wine is not normal. Over the next two days this hotel grew on us. The staff were friendly and helpful. Five Stars it ain't by any measure, maybe 3 or 4, but the swimming poor and outside is delightful, the staff really willing and smiling, and the beds were comfortable. Over the next days

An ideal place to jump-start your visit to the Iguazu Falls in Argentina. High on concept the Secret Garden is populated by tree ferns and other shade-loving plants salvaged from the slash and burn rural and logging activities decimating the surrounding rain-forest. Our location allows you to get a feel of living in a small South American frontier town and has easy access to urban amenities.
Immaculately clean, pretty little guesthouse on a side street away from the throngs of Puerto Iguazu but close to all amenities. It’s not plush or glamorous but it does what it says on the tin, the staff couldn’t be more helpful - Sole and Josefina were brilliant, booking taxis, providing a lovely breakfast, handling a cheap bag of laundry - and booking was friendly and efficient, based on trust as no deposit required upfront. Felt exceptionally secure, aircon was a godsend in 35-36 degree heat, and certainly best caipirinhas I’ve ever had! A simple base from which to explore both sides of Iguazu. Only thing I’d change is that a pool would be nice but the charm of this property is its size and there just isn’t space!!
