Looked at Altos and found it shabby. Checked the Savoy and it was dreadful. So Carlos V was the best we found. The room was a good size with a handy working desk area, the bed and pillows were comfortable, the shower had good pressure. Breakfast was a downer. The start were very friendly, especially Ismael.

We stayed in condo 912 and it was amazing. Staff were very professional and friendly. Very responsive to anything we asked. Pool was just great and was definitely a great place to go instead of beach. The old town is amazing and Cafe olla Nd sea monkey are the best places to eat!

This place is magic! Everything was so perfect! This place is situated in a perfect position. Quiet but close to the best excursion. There is a spectacular view of the Pirque mountains. The owners of the place are amazing people, they give us any type of help and suggest a lot of good things to do in the areas. Super good breakfast and dinner!

Our car broke down so we had to stay overnight here. Although the staff were very helpful and the room size was OK the room was not very clean and (possibly because it was a Saturday night) the locals rode the scooters round the roundabout outside ALL night, from midnight until dawn. People also like to stop there cars and play loud music while they sit and drink beer at about 4am, made a change from the sound of scooters though.

After a full day of driving and exploring the National Parks of Ischigualasto & Talampaya I was very happy to land at a hotel with a huge huge huge suite with a king size bed and a brand new Jacuzzi with a view. Our suite (#134) was a corner room with great big windows overlooking the pre-cordillera mountain range, with fresh sheets & towels. Our local guide told us an interesting story about this hotel being built by one of the richest families in San Juan only to steal business from their enemy's hotel Canon de Talampaya by offering a superior quality for cheaper prices just a block away from them (larger rooms, flat-screen tvs, jacuzzi, etc). The downside is that as a result the hotel has little soul and attention to details, located right next to the IPF (gas station) and with a very poor breakfast (for the price value of the room I would expect some basic cheese and ham slices). Friendly, but not extremely professional and qualified staff (for instance they recommended to eat at the gas-station, needless to say it has neon lights and zero charm.....). The room had a noisy fridge which I simply unplugged to sleep and there was no phone in the rooms. We took a dip in the perfectly kept pool (extremely refreshing and gratifying after having spent a whole day with 40 degree temperatures. Like most hotels in the area, it is located alongside the main road so there was not much "privacy" at the pool, where everyone could peek in as they walked or drove by. This is a brand new hotel, so they have planted small trees which will eventually grow to solve this issue. Since the hotel does not have a restaurant we ventured out and walked 6 blocks to the center of town and ate a local Locro right on the main plaza. Overall, the morning panoramic view of the pre-Andes mountain range from the room was so incredible that it really made up for the critiques I mentioned above. As you may have noticed from previous posts, I am very meticulous and exigent, but won't let small things override what was overall good experience. I would qualify this as a 3* hotel in terms of service, with 4* furniture.

3 Stars with a strategic location in the center of hot springs, we have 3 categories. SUPERIOR, suite and PREMIER as themselves have all the comfort that requires your stay. It is a modern building with 2 lifts of last generation and stairs to connect to all of our services. In addition the hotel has services such as restaurant, snack bar, thermal swimming pool, with sun all day and whirlpool, wifi, garage, among others.
At first glance, it might seems fancy. Next, you see mouse droppings in your bathtub with hairs and other stuff, missing ceiling part, terrifying elevator, algae in the swimming pool and shameful breakfast. Staff seems to be used to it and don't care at all. To avoid at all cost !
