With its new renovated and modern style, the Poet hotel is designed to tell the stories of its guests. The hotel is cosy and it wants to be a collection of stories written by those, who want to live an experience and leave a trace. The hotel is centrally located: 5 minutes far from La Spezia train station, from where it is possible to reach the villages of Cinque Terre; 3 minutes from the bus stops where it is possible to catch buses to reach Portovenere and Lerici and 5 minutes walk from the main road: Via Del Prione. Walking down this road, it is possible to find many shops, the tourist office but also the main attractions of the city: Amedeo Lia Museum, Sigillo Museum, San Giorgio Castle and the Maritime museum. At the end of Via Del Prione, it is possible to find La Spezia seafront (where in summer, it is possible to take boats to reach the beautiful villages of Cinque Terre, Lerici and Portovenere) and Porto Mirabello, one of the main yatchs harbor in the Mediterranean. The reception is open 24 hours a day and the staff speaks Italian, English, French and Spanish. Check in is from 2.30 pm and check out is within 11.30 am. Late check out is upon availability with an extra charge. Wifi is free in all the rooms and common areas. Parking is available on request for a rate of € 20,00 per night. Our buffet breakfast is served at the Poet's Hub on the ground floor from 7.30 a.m to 10.30 a.m. After breakfast, the Poet’s Hub becomes an area, where it is possible to read, eat, connect or work. Its unique design and its particular style make this place perfect for meeting people, socializing and sharing travel experiences. Here, during the day, is possible to benefit from a kettle and teas available free of charge for all our guests. In the Poet’s Hub our guests can also enjoy a drink at our American bar opened from Tuesday to Sunday from 4 pm to 10 pm. Our hotel has also a meeting room, “The Poet Box”, located on the ground floor where it is possible to organise meetings or business events.
Once in the room I felt I was in a converted hostel. Rooms sparely furnished, basisc accomodations, not the best of locations either. Stayed here due to a tour with Trafalgar. The staff was less than friendly, they claim they have a "Bar", but they don't. The only great thing about this hotel is the breakfast was the best we had during our 3-weeks traveling throughout Italy. Would I stay here again, it would be very hard to yes, but the breakfast was out of this world.

We are a La Spezia city centre B&B, close to the Railway Station (80 metres) connecting to the Cinque Terre area with a 7 minutes train ride (Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, Monterosso). Our B&B "Affittacamere Casa Dane' " is also close to the pedestrian area of the city centre with its restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, supermarkets, museums, etc..Elegance and style are the distinguishing qualities of our recently renovated Bed and Berakfast: all our rooms have private bathroom with hairdryer, colour TV, air-conditioning, safe, tea and coffee making facilities, free Wi-Fi internet connection, fax service.
Traveled Italy with my mom, and this was by far the best hotel/B&B we had the entire trip. Everything was SO clean, and well maintained. The room had a safe, a mini fridge, and a small kettle for coffee and tea. We met the owner when the key to our room broke, which wasn't an issue because it was repaired very quickly (within about 20min). The staff was so quick and friendly we knew we had to stay one more night. They were also very helpful when we had questions regarding Cinque Terre. Thank you Roberto, Gabriel, and the young lady whose name I can't remember :(, for such a wonderful stay in La Spezzia!

Atmosfere is composed by two different Guest Houses, both are apartments nicely furnished and renovated by a young ligurian designer in 2015/2016. Equipped with every comfort, Atmosfere represents the ideal base to easily reach the Cinque Terre and all the villages surrounding the Gulf of La Spezia. Much attention has been dedicated to the details in order to offer hotel-like standards, trying also to offer othe guests the sensation to feel like home. We are proud of our own style, which melts so many different elements: each room is decorated in its own style. The structure is hosted in an historical ligurian "palazzo" located in the very heart of the town. Just a few minutes both from the railway station and the ferries (headed to the Cinque Terre) embarkment. Several Bus Stops (just behind the corner) are available to reach all the other villages of the area. Hot beverages, guides and information are provided to all of our guests. WiFi accessible and free throughout the whole Guest House. We speak italian :) of course, as well as english, russian, and some spanish and french.
Parking spaces are kind of tricky here, but this the apartment is lovely and very clean. Very helpful staff all the way, thank you so much! i already recommended your apartments to my friends and family.

A warm welcome, attention to details and an exclusive central location, is awaiting you at the Hotel Firenze e Continentale. Less than two minutes’ walk away from the main train station of La Spezia, Hotel Firenze e Continentale is the perfect venue for those who wish to explore our territory and in particular the breathtaking Cinque Terre and the Gulf of Poets. The Hotel was built at the beginning of the 1900 and preserves its original architectural identity in an environment that has been constantly restored in line with the ever changing times to satisfy every guest’s needs. Refined decor accentuates the building's aristocratic vibe, whilst modern gadgets harmonise with timeless touches. LCD’s TVs, complimentary WiFi access and Bluetooth Sound Sytem available in our Suite keeps our guests entertained. A top quality 4 stars Hotel located in the historical city centre of La Spezia, the Hotel Firenze and Continentale is a brisk walk from the pedestrianised heart of the town, close to the main attractions and to the traditional restaurants where our guests can taste the delicacies of our territory.
The outside of the hotel and general spaces are excellent and breakfast exceptional, but at least standard room needs urgent renovation and in no way is 4 star (rather 3). Challenges with the standard room on 4th floor: smell (moldy, though got used to it), shower (super small, water not hot, water pressure too small), bed (making noises), noises (from upstairs very clear woke up at 2am someone dropping stuff and going to shower, some road noises). The staff was friendly but not taking feedback nor asking how was our stay when we left.

The narrow lane painted a beautiful Ligurian red, which is so reminiscent of the “caruggi” of many villages in the Gulf of Poets and which leads to the small boutique art hotel, announces the peculiarities of the place: silence, slowness, reserve, measure. Here, in the heart of the old city, in the first decades of the twentieth century, the ritual of occasional love, paid sex, was celebrated, hidden away from curiosity. The two-storey building, leaning against a small private square, which is surprisingly discovered by sight and which houses a reception and nine stainless rooms, was in the past a pleasure house. The ideal starting point for a splendid holiday in the Gulf of Poets, not far from the Cinque Terre, Lerici, Porto Venere and the valleys of the Province of La Spezia. The railway station (from which you can reach the Cinque Terre in less than 10 minutes) and the boarding of tourist boats are just a 5-minute walk away.
A boutique hotel is defined by its tasteful rooms and general ambience (decoration, quality of furniture, etc.). The only worthy part of this establishment is its façade. As you may see in the attached photos, the furniture in my room were cheap, the plaster on the walls was chipping and in the (big) bathroom the tiles were all PAINTED grey, which, evidently, lead to peeling off the moment you accidentally put your nails on them. Moreover, a hotel: 1. has a reception that caters for the needs of the guests. In our case, the reception was both days absent after early evening hours. When there was an internet break down, there was noone from the hotel staff to give some guidance or explanation to the guests, who, to their despair, were in the lobby trying to figure out what to do. 2. does not run out of clean glasses in the middle of breakfast (09:00). Not to forget the stains on the sheets (see relevant photo). As far as the young man that had the role of the receptionist (not after evening hours of course..), he scarcely followed the mandatory measures concerning COVID 19 (wearing a mask). The only not disappointing part of my stay was the location of the establishment, right in the city centre. Based on all the above, I am afraid that I do not recommend this accommodation.

The hotel was easy to find, with transit dropping you off less than 100 m from the entrance. It provided amazing views from the balconies and surrounding areas. The owner is a very nice woman who was extremely helpful with orienting us in Cinque Terre and the hotel. Breakfast was made to order due to covid, and was prompt and delicious each time. The room was spacious, modern, and comfortable. The bed was inviting, the bathroom was bright, stocked, and roomy, and there was lots or storage and TV channels for those looking. We were told the heat wasn't working, but given it was May, this was no issue.

Its strategic location makes it easy to reach downtown La Spezia and all of the area's major tourist sites, while also offering a favored position for visiting the picturesque villages of Liguria's hinterland. Featuring a dedicated and personalized service, it is the ideal destination for planning your stay to discover the "Cinque Terre National Park", a UNESCO World Heritage site, and Portovenere and its islands, or to spend a quiet day at the sea on the sandy beaches of Lerici and San Terenzo.- All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, Sky TV, and free Wi-Fi- Large, free, private parking available, also for tour buses- 5 km from the ferry boat boarding pier with services to the Cinque Terre and Portofino- 4 km from the La Spezia train station, with trains to the Cinque Terre, Genoa, Pisa, and Florence
The room was a good size, it was comfortable. The bathroom was to small and the shower was so small you could hardly turn. The door of the bathroom jammed, so it was really uncomfortable to go in and out the the bathroom. I told this to the receptionist, nothing happend. The room was also noisy, you could hear people talk outside on the balcony. We especially booked a hotel outside the city for some peace. The staff was friendly and the breakdown was okee.

The hotel is located in the building where in 1212 the local authority had its siege. The tourist that spends his Holiday here can sense that magical athmosphere that seems staged in the past. The village has a medieval origin and it is the best place for trekking lovers as you can start your walking from the centre of the village and reach Vernazza in just about three hours. La Spezia, administrative centre, is at just 20 minutes by car, there you can visit museums, the historic centre and from there you can have a trip to the pearls of the bay such as Portovenere and Lerici. Within an hour by car you can reach Pisa, Parma or Genua and if you add 30 minutes to your journey you can reach Florence. The Hotel Paese Corvara has multilingual personnel that will welcome you to your booked room. All bedrooms have en-suite bathroom and free wi-fi connection. The hotel has also two independent flats at just 50 metres from the main building. GIARDINO_2The first flat is bigger and can lodge till 6 guests. It has a living room with a sofa bed and a tv, a fully equipe kitchen, two double bedrooms and a twin room, a bathroom with shower. Outside the house there is a small garden where you can relax and have dinner outside. You can reach the second flat through a a small ladder: this flat has a double bedroom with a nice terrace, a small dining area, a small bedroom with a single bed and a chest of drawers, bathroom with a bath tub and a shower. All guests can benefit of the restaurant and pizzeria which serve traditional regional dishes. The pizzeria located in the back garden is set among the houses and has tables, chairs and sun beds to enjoy the garden and relax.
We stayed one night at this property returning from Cinque Terre, I contacted the property a night before we arrived and they responded immediately, very helpful! The place is quite and the restaurant has very good food, breakfast is only extra 5 euros and it worthy! It is very clean! I highly recommend it.

We stayed few days in the apartment “ il polipo”. It was nice and big enough, there was even a nice terrace with the view on the sea. The Location is great, the beach is very close and you don’t need to get the car everyday if you want to go to the sea.
