I was a bit dubious when I arrived but I have to say, it is fabulous…. The staff are amazing, Mario specifically, very friendly. Everyone made sure our stay was excellent and the food was truly excellent…. Accommodation is basic but very comfortable

Although at the far end of the town everything about this was excellent. From the welcome drink, enthusiastic briefing to the spacious room. We especially liked the small sitting room with a cosy couch complete with lots of pillows!! Definitely good value for weary Pilgrims!!

This pension is easy to find, just one street back from the main area of activity in the town. Although close by the cafes and bars, it was a very nice and quiet location. The rooms were a good size and were very clean, if a bit basic. Plenty of hot water but we found the shower cubicle to be very small for big guys. Breakfast was good although no choice offered to us, it was a take it or leave it option. Staff were friendly enough and helpful. Portomarin is a lovely wee town and the people were very friendly. Plenty of choice for eating places nearby.

I found the rooms here to be nicely clean and tidy with staff who were always ready to assist as needed. As some others have mentioned it can be a bit noisy but I find this to be the case ion many concrete constructed hotels so earplugs are the order of the day!

Nice place to stay. Clean spacious room. Right on the camino. Shower is tiny though. A suggestion : a jug to boil water for tea and coffee would be better than having to ask for it. Just up the road is a nice bar cafe with good food Nd ice creams. In a nice little village

Although off the main comino path, the proprietor will pick you up from Portomarín within 5 minutes of your call. Staff were friendly and the food outstanding. Rooms were modern, great facilities the menu was varied, would definitely recommend the barbecued steak, it is amazing. When we were ready to leave, the proprietor drove us back to the Camiño with no charge for this service. This is the second time we’ve stayed here and will do so again.

If Carlsberg did hotels this is probably the best hotel on the Camino. We were very lucky to be able to stay in this fantastic hotel, best location in Portomarin, just at the back of the church. Staff were very friendly, rooms were beautiful & the garden was just amazing. Communal breakfast was great. Highly recommend the hotel.

Resch Portomarin from O’Cebreiro is likely one of the most demanding stages of El Camino Francés. But the destiny deserves the effort. Specially if you are there hosted by Ruben and Joana. In their small but beautiful and comfortable hotel
