For a town that was no more than a fishing camp and a few farms fifty years ago, Port Saint Lucie has grown to be a lovely vacation spot. Port Saint Lucie is the location of the spring training camp for the New York Mets. Visit Tradition Field and see how the team is shaping up for the coming season. Then, if you love to golf, head over to the PGA Village, a 51-hole complex with a learning center and historical center.
To the east of Port Saint Lucie is the Atlantic Ocean, so you'll want to schedule at least one day for the beach. Port Saint Lucie is also located just north of the Saint Lucie River, so you can explore the beauty of the river region on the St. Lucie River Princess. You'll cruise in comfort and be taken by the breathtaking scenery of natural Florida. The cruise is shaded from the sun and narrated for your education and entertainment. Cruises start in the afternoon, so you can spend a leisurely morning first.
You can also explore nature on foot by hiking in the Savannas Preserve State Park. The park also offers canoe trips and guided explorations.
No trip to Port Saint Lucie would be complete without a visit to Lily's Cafe. It serves great food at great prices. If you're lucky, Lily herself might be your waitress. If you're feeling more exotic, El Cubanito serves Cuban cuisine in a family atmosphere. Other restaurants include seafood, Indian cuisine, and American cuisine.

Just minutes from The Landing at Tradition, nice shopping mall. Across from that is the Publix Plaza and a little further on The Fountains. Hotel was quiet and in a great location (right off I-95 and near commerce across the highway but in a golf village so quiet). Lobby was clean and spacious and seems in newer condition. Resort kind of feel as you would expect in PGA Village. Parking aplenty. Room was comfy and clean. My issue with the property is the lack of anything going on or services available. Room cleaning on request only (COVID I get it) but my room didn’t have any coffee pods in it when I arrived for three nights. I had to ask for them. Room and lobby also smelled stale. Like a little mildew. I know it’s Florida and humid but other hotels don’t smell like this. Restaurant closed for lunch and dinner and bar closed (despite stating otherwise on their website). No grab and go coffee in lobby. You had to go to restaurant and sit down at a table and the waiter would bring it to you. Inconvenient. Lobby was a ghost town and not really any decor. There were guests in and out of the lobby so it wasn’t a COVID thing. Just not a vibrant property and seemed like they could be doing so much more to make it a welcoming and pleasant place to stay.

The stay overall was great. The breakfast was very good and the room was comfortable. My only negative comment was getting out of the parking lot. Eventhough, I could exit by the light it was a very long wait time. This is nothing that Best Western can fix and it's not their fault.

Reservation #96068774 . I checked in on Thursday and planned to check out on Monday. When I checked in, they asked when I would like housekeeping. I said just Saturday would be fine. Guess who didn’t get any housekeeping services? And Elevator 2 was hit or miss on whether it worked or not. When I checked out I mentioned to the front desk agent that since my son is in the hospital I have been coming here every weekend. Last week I stayed next door at the Marriott, this week here. The big difference is when I asked for housekeeping over there I actually got it. Here nothing. She sheerly responded well housekeeping doesn’t come every day. I said I know. Out of the 4 nights here, I asked for it once at check in. Well, she said, I guess I will speak to housekeeping. Also, I added, Elevator 2 is hit or miss on working. She said yes I know. Next weekend I will stay next door at the Marriott. Is it to much to ask for basic services and respect or we as a society stuck with poor service and attitude? So much for being a diamond member ?♀️.

This is probably the worst experience we have ever had in an HIE. We are Spire Elites and have stayed in every IHG property type. We weren't shown any appreciation, acknowledgement or offered any ammenities and we have stayed in IHG properties for close to 100 nights the last couple of years. We reserved a suite for the largest room they had. Suite was really beat up. The toilet ran constantly, the telephone didn't work, holes in the walls, dead insects in the ceiling light fixtures, carpet was stained with ripples from age. The entire room was way past its life cycle and just plain dirty. I just can't believe this was the most expensive room they had. This was probably the first time I have ever considered walking away from a reservation and getting a room elsewhere. Just no pride taken by the property.

We checked in at 4 pm into this small resort. (Three 3 story buildings) Very Clean, spacious rooms and nice bathrooms. Washer dryer in the units is very nice and in our 2 bedroom unit 3 TVs. The small staff is really nice. Good sized pool with a small gated kiddy pool 1 foot deep. It also has a great Hot Jacuzzi type pool that seats 6 people. It was about 104 degrees great for our aching bones after two rounds of golf. That Jacuzzi pool has a hydraulic lift chair to give handicapped access. The Pools and Hot tub Jacuzzi type pool is open at 9 am until 10 PM. That pool area has a nice ping pong table, a pool table, and an excellent grill. The nearby 3 PGA golf courses are in EXCELLENT condition. The greens are to die for, and the fairways grass is like a carpet. Best I have ever played on. The beds one King and two queen are so-o comfortable with four pillows each bed. We slept like hibernating bears! Plenty of pots pans dishes glasses and silverware. Phones and alarm clocks in the bedrooms and living room. Full size stove with Full oven, Microwave, and full size fridge, Toaster. Vcr on the main tv. Small screened balcony with table and two chairs.

Do not stay at Residence inn PSL. We stayed fo 5 nights and got bit up by fleas. The manager Ronnie Nichols stated I wouldn’t be charged for the nights I stayed in that room. When I checked out they admitted they had Orkin there cause the room definitely had fleas. When I checked out they didn’t reimburse me but they promised she would get to right away. Could get her on the phone never returned calls. Ronnie Nichols straight up lied. I have pictures of my wife’s legs that got bit up. Save your money and stay at a cleaner hotel
