Whatever should not happen, happened tonight!
Reviewed By poismangetoutWe started with drinks at 6 pm and ended at 9.40 pm with the bill which had to be rewritten because the system went down. One of the worst exeperiences I ever had. The Service was a catastrophy! The food is not worth waiting for. My Filet de Boeuf á la Rossini (49.-CHF) was well done / bien cuit.... I stop here! Don‘t go there!

Reviewed By 400walterwBei der Unterkunft handelt sich um ein Altstadthaus in schöner Lage. Vor Ort ist niemand anwesend. Auf unser Telefon hin kam ein freundlicher Angestellter, der uns aufschloss und uns auch weiter betreute. Letztendlich haben wir die Unterkunft nicht benutzt. Bei der in der Beschreibung erwähnten Treppe zur Unterkunft handelt es sich um eine enge Wendeltreppe wie im Turm einer gotischen Kathedrale teilweise ohne Handlauf. Meine Frau war nicht in der Lage hier hochzusteigen. Auf der Suche nach einem WC landete sie in einem Kellerraum, der total verraucht war. Der Chef bot uns über Telefon eine andere, teurere Unterkunft mit Lift an. Diese war gepflegt, aber sehr steril. Ein Gang mit 4 oder 5 angrenzenden Schlafzimmern und einem Wohnzimmer. Dusche und Lavabos separat gemeinsam für alle Zimmer! Wir kamen uns ziemlich verloren vor. Eine Aussage des Chefs, dass wir frei wären, diese Wohnung zu nehmen oder nicht, deutete ich dahingehend, dass er bereit war, uns die bezahlte Nacht rückzuerstatten. Nachdem wir uns im Touristenbüro für eine andere Unterkunft entschieden hatten, mussten wir leider feststellen, dass keinerlei Bereitschaft für eine Rückerstattung vorhanden war. Daran änderte auch eine SMS seitens des Vermieters nichts, dass wir die Unterkunft unter booking.com stornieren sollten. Insgesamt eine schlecht Erfahrung.

Wonderfully renovated, wonderfully welcoming
Reviewed By rrusttI stayed in the Dependance "Tourelle du Mouton" 2 Minutes from the main building. It was a wonderful experience spending a night in a 16th century tower that once housed salt barrels. The spiral stairwell still smells of salt. A beautiful example of renovation. A richly historic building with modern, clean, minimalistic interiors. All staff members were so warm and accommodating. A very late check-in was no problem at all since the key amd door code were given to me in advance.

Reviewed By swissmgmMy friend and I wanted to enjoy a peaceful lunch at this restaurant. On the website it said that it’s open till 3 pm. We arrived at 2pm. The staff informed us in a very unfriendly manner, that after 2pm they don’t serve food anymore. Certainly not a place I would go back to.

Reviewed By Brandy987We stayed at AjoieSpa for 4 days and 3 nights at the end of November. Tanja the owner and host of the spa made us feel very welcome. We arrived late and since the restaurants are only open for take away due to Covid, Tanja arranged some food for us from a local restaurant and got us dishes to eat from so we could enjoy the food in our room. The room itself is really nice, the bed slept very well and we loved the large bath. There was also a tv, bathrobes, a coffee maker and water boiler in the room. We ordered the breakfast 2 times and that was delivered to our room at the agreed times. At the moment we ordered we could choose what we wanted, it had all sorts of options like croissants/bread/milk/orange jus/coffee/milk/yoghurt/jams/cheese/ham etc, so we had a really big breakfast but so good. We didn't book a massage because we thought it would be a risk with Covid but we did book the steamroom and it was really a nice way to relax. Next time, when Covid isn't a risk anymore, we will book a massage as well. Everything was really clean and there was just a really warm/welcome atmosphere. Tanja, thank you again. We will be back for sure!

Reasonable value, good breakfast
Reviewed By philstephenrichardsAs the name suggests, this hotel is very close to the station and a further 10 minutes walk into the town centre. I opted for a budget single toom which was small and quite basic with wash basin, wardrobe and small table/chair. . Room was rather warm when I entered. Toilet was back to the top of the main staircase and were the same ones used by restaurant and bar guests. A shame a sepertae toilet isn't available near the shower which was much closer to the room. The shower was fine and clean. Towels/shower gel are provded in the room. The free WiFi in the hotel worked well. I took evening dinner in the dining room downstairs and had a niced meal of traditional Fondue. Breakfast (an extra CHF10) was served in the bar from 06:30. Croissant, lots of bread, good size portions of jmas and butter. Juice and very good coffee.

Reviewed By cyrilb33Le logement était confortable et la nuit a été bonne. Le week-end, il faut fermer la fenêtre afin de en pas être réveillé par des personnes avinées qui sortent de bars. Le seul bémol : ma veste que j’avais posée sur un cintre l’après-midi sentait... la fumée de cigarette en quittant l’hôtel. Les odeurs sont montées depuis le restaurant qui est au rez-de-chaussée... Dommage

Grande chambre lumineuse au centre de Porrentruy
Reviewed By cyrilb33La chambre/ studio est grande et confortable. La vue sur l’Hôtel de ville et la rue est belle. La literie est confortable et la salle de bain pratique. Il n’a pas été simple de mettre la TV en marche et trouver des chaînes. J’ai malheureusement laissé la fenêtre ouverte la nuit : mauvaise idée avec le bruit des fêtards...
