Antico Fio is a Seventeen century old stone farmhouse located among the florid and green Tuscany countryside in the heart of the Casentino Valley. All housing solutions (houses and apartments) are equipped with all comforts, have separate entrance and can accommodate from up to eight people.
La Dolce Vita, our perfect wedding took place here. Antico Fio has everything: 360 degree views of the Tuscan hills, the castle of Poppi and their own vineyard. Sara, her mother and the rest of their team have provided unforgettable days for my family and our guests. I am very grateful to them and also Tiziana (catering) and Nicola (flowers). Everything was right for our dream wedding! Lots of love, Mascha and Jorn

Borgo I Tre Baroni is your resort surrounded by the green of the Casentino Forest National Park, in the Casentino valley, away from the traffic of everyday life. Here you can rediscover the value of time, marked by the bells of the church of Moggiona. We are committed to maintain the welcome and care of our guests every day, as the Tuscan tradition teaches us. A stone's throw from the thousand-year-old Camaldoli, Poppi and Chiusi della Verna, our Casentino is a land that has a lot to offer. Take back your time. You can discover the flavors of the cuisine of the Mater restaurant, before getting lost in the Apennine horizon that can be seen from the large terrace. You can read a book borrowed from our library immersed in the green of the pool space, after a long walk in the forest. You can drink a glass of wine from the garden of your Spa Suite and smell the countless aromatic plants that are throughout the hotel.
Ideal place to stay in Casentino - East Tuscany. The rooms are clean with a wonderful bathroom en suite. We stayed in de Suite de Luxe with a beautiful view at the Castle of Poppi. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast was luxurious with many choices. Recommended is a visit to the Restaurant Mater for an evening never to forget.

San Lorenzo is one of the oldest buildings in Poppi and it abuts the external walls of the castle. Its chapel was built in the XI century. The building was entirely restored and the hotel opened in 2006. With its 9 rooms with selected furniture, its terrace with an amazing view on the valley and the castle and its huge olive tree park, San Lorenzo is the perfect location for your holidays!
The building is beautiful, the views are wonderful, the rooms are charming and the breakfast is tasty. The proprietor is helpful, friendly and cheery. We stayed for 7 nights to explore the locality and I highly recommend it.

Hotel - Restaurant la Torricella is surrounded by an area of green landscape just a stone's throw of the national park of Casentino forest, close to Poppi. The hotel, have a fantastic view of the Poppi Castle. It's a renovated old farmhouse and preserves the countryside features of the typical Tuscany farmhouse. The restaurant offers a traditional cooking with a wide range of Tuscan dishes. During the hot season is possible to enjoy breackfast, lunch or dinner in the external terrace or garden.
Nice place, average dinner, average rooms. Nice views of the castle but it does not have a pool so in the summer not much to do in the hotel. The restaurant is good and the service friendly, food is ok, nothing special.

Everything and more then you expect: a gorgeous view (looking over the hills of Tuscany straight to the village and castel of Poppi) a beautiful house with a delicious pool. The house itself is nicely decorated with numerous pieces of art. We enjoyed the tranquillity of the resort and the friendly staff. If you are looking for an holiday in Tuscany, we sure recommend Fattori di Celli!

The Bed & Breakfast Palazzo Gatteschi Gatteschi was born after a thorough restoration of the old family house in the Tuscan countryside, to offer to lovers of the region a splendid and unforgettable holiday in a family atmosphere where you will find hospitality and cordiality. The rigorous restoration of the Villa allows living rich in history and welcoming environments. We have called the b&b Palazzo Gatteschi because the original structure was built in 1700 as the main house of the noble family Gatteschi, of Poppi. A perfect starting point for all those who love to discover the Tuscan region. Its secrets and traditions, landscapes and flavours. In the Casentino reign a mystical atmosphere, castles, churches, monasteries, museums, the Verna Sanctuary, Falterona Hill, where the Arno River born and the National Park of the Casentinese Forest, offer the visitor the possibility to be in contact with art, nature, sport, relaxation, and also take a gastronomic journey .
Myself and my husband stayed with Guendy and Lucas in July and to say they couldn't do enough for us in an understatement. I have stayed in many hotels but Palazzo Gatteschi stands out for all the right reasons. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and the grounds of the hotel had lovely garden and pool. We really enjoyed our stay in with Guendy and Lucas. The were so helpful and friendly that we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The hotel is only a short walk from a beautiful beer garden and restaurant. Thank you so much Guendy and Lucas for making our holiday extra special and making us feel so welcome.

The agriturismo Poggio a Poppi was established by successfully restoring an ancient stone-built manor house. It is located in the green valley of Casentino and enjoys a fantastic panorama of Poppi and Bibbiena. Guests can choose between double rooms and apartments, all of them individually designed and tastefully furnished with typical Tuscan style interior. All of the rooms and apartments come with their own individually designed en-suite bathrooms. From where we are located, guests can make excursions by bike or by foot, visit nearby villages, participate various courses including cooking, painting, yoga and meditation. The agriturismo Poggio a Poppi is also a perfect starting point to visit the main historic towns of Tuscany and Umbria: Florence, Arezzo, Siena, Cortona, Perugia.
The Location: it is very close to Poppy which is convenient however there is nothing close to it so it gives a secluded feeling. The room: Perfect rooms! our room was perfect we had an amazing patio that featured breathtaking views, especially in the morning time, it was cold outside but the room was heated and heated water made a perfect shower experience, with very nice beds as well a spacious closet. The Hotel: the farm is full of amazing views from all different angles, with fantastic wildlife and nature, the dogs were extra my son didn't want to leave the place neither did we. The Food: Did you know that Mauro is a chef? the dinner and breakfast we had were out of this world, oh my god Fiorentina steak they cooked is making me drool The People: people make the place and I can't thank Mauro, Johanna, and Anotnio enough for making this stay the best for my wife, son, and me. they were so accommodating and helpful as well as provided some pro tips. I would love to spend more time when traveling to Italy again. I wish i had more photos to share. but we were actually having fun.

Parc Hotel is not only modern hotel but also a place where comfort and professionalism mingle to make the perfect setting. It's a place of smells long forgotten, memories once found in the calm town which still echoes stories of the past and beautiful artwork; it is filled with the spells of the sweet harmonious hills in Tuscany.
Ate in the evening as walk in customers at a hotel. Always risky in a normal hotel. Food proved to be of a decent standard if a little over priced. Service was slow with waitress showing more attention to single male travellers than perhaps she should have done. Nevertheless food was reasonable and at a pinch I'd go back

there are few things that i feel are important to know before go there. First: the english version of the website is not based of the price of this year (but 2018) so you will spend more. second: you have to pay for everything: electricity, internet, car parking and is really the first time that this happen in my entire life! third: is full of family with children and there is not education: if you go there for do trekking (like me, so plan to wake up very early in the morning) my advice is to don't go. The children were shouting and playing till midnight. if you go only for holidays is fine fourth: the price of the food in the restaurant are expensive. my advice is to go in the town and eat there last one: i tried to talk with the girl who is (i think) the director and she took everything personal, i think that when you work with customer you need to be polite and listen what the people tell you. the place is very nice cause is in the forest. the toilet is very down (71 stars) and there is no light in the night at all.

La Dolce Vista is an old 20th century farmhouse, situated in the centre of the Casentino valley in the green heart of Tuscany. The strategic position allows you to easily reach the ancient villages of Poppi, Bibbiena and Stia, the sacred and spiritual sites of La Verna, Camaldoli and Romena and the uncontaminated forests of the National Park.
La Dolce Vista was our base camp the week of our wedding at Poppi Castle. The apartment was gorgeous and very clean. The hosts were extremely accommodating and even helped us to their washer. Outside there is a lovely sitting area which we put to use with cheese and biscuits one evening, I honestly can't find a fault.
