Family run; fresh, organic food; beautiful views.. loved this place. The indoor decor maybe could be refreshed a little, but it gave a traditional, Italian vibe + really amazing staff <3 Everyone was super nice and I enjoyed every minute of staying there.

If I could give this Hotel 10 stars I would. We have just spend 5 nights in this lovely Hotel when we celebrated our daughter's wedding in Poggibonsi . The staff could not have been more caring or helpful. Nothing was too much trouble from booking things for us, to fetching cushions and helping ship a painting back to the UK. We had a beautiful superior room on the 3rd floor with a comfortable bed and pillows and a lovely bathroom. There is aircon too which is essential when it gets very hot. From every room in the Hotel you have a view of either the Tuscan hills, the garden or the swimming pool. The cleaning staff are great and very helpful despite my lack of Italian and the rooms are spotless. It is a peaceful and restful place. A car is recommended but you can walk into Poggibonsi and the train station in 20 min, It is downhill there but uphill coming back. The Restaurant is on a large terrace with a beautiful view and we can not thank the staff enough for organising a table for 13 on our first night and a table for 17 on our 4 night so our friends and family could all eat together. The food is incredible, each mouthful is a treat. They will also do vegetarian and gluten free. Oh and let us not forget the wine and the Prosecco. Amazing.

We were passing through on our way south to Siena. Our room looked nothing like the images shown above. It was a small room, just big enough to fit the bed and the table. The bed itself was a bit on the small side but ok we managed to sleep as we had been walking all day and were quite exhausted. There was a small window which we had difficulty opening/closing. The blinds can only be opened or closed fully. All in all expensive for what it was. there is very limited parking space on the hotel property and were advised to park on the side road Via Allessandro Volta I have to commend the staff for their exceptional service, though sad they have to do it in this defunct place.

A modern, four-star building, 90 rooms with all kind of comfort - DUS, Double, Twin rooms, all with air conditioning, Sat. TV, Free Sky Channel, safe, telephone, minibar, hair dryer, free Wi-Fi in all the rooms. Two restaurants where you can spend pleasant evenings and where you can eat the specialties of Tuscany and drink the best wine from this area.
This large hotel has good sized modern decor rooms, with free WiFi, flatscreen TV, desk, fridge, safety deposit box but no tea or coffee making facilities. There is also a small bar and restaurant I didn't have anything to eat including breakfast so unfortunately cannot comment. Within walking distance over the bridge is a cafe/restaurant serving drinks and food mainly pizzas which are very good. The staff at the hotel appear friendly and helpful.

My girlfriend and I spent 4 nights at Garden House in August 2011. When we arrived we were immediately greeted with a smile and cold glass of wine from their vineyard. Every evening a great home cooked feast was prepared, and all of the guests socialized around the large outdoor table that overlooks the towers of San Gimignano. And more wine! Lots to see in the area with Sienna, San Gimignano, Florence, Volterra, and lots of wineries and towns in the area. Our hosts were kind enough to recommend a few of the best places to visit too. Comfy accommodation, and clean. A little Italian, or German would help, but you'll get by with just English. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

We were travelling by train, principally, but also by bus at times through Tuscany (mainly). We had spent time in Florence, of course, then took the train to Assisi. From our one night and 2 days there we went to Arezzo. Two nights there and we receive a phone call. Our hotel in Poggibonsi can't put us up. Why? No real satisfactory response so we have to think of something quick. We take a taxi out into the countryside after disembarking from the train, where we are miles from a railway station. We are in Poggibonsi because it is central by train and bus to several Tuscany towns and cities which themselves don't have a railway station. So the 5 nights here now seem in doubt. We were thinking of the Albergo Italia ages ago when we were booking but, of course, there is no lift, and at the time of booking, my Mrs has just had a knee replacement operation. Well we have no choice now do we? And to be honest her knee is so much better these days. To cut a long story short. These blokes welcomed us with open arms after we were given a lift back into town. They gave us a room that was a bit small and high up for 2 nights but soon found us a better one which was much bigger and better. It really made the holiday because we then bussed to San Gimignano on the 2nd day then Siena on the 3rd before taking the train to Certaldo on the 4th. All marvellous places to visit. On the Sunday, we spent all day visiting the sites in Poggibonsi itself before leaving the hotel. The breakfast was adequate, the prices excellent value and the staff all good people, including the cleaners. Right opposite the railway station and bus terminus too.

Among the delicate hills of the Chianti, in the beautiful country Tuscany, between the cities of art and the historical countries of the province of Siena, rich of old castles and monumental abbeys, found our Bed & Breakfast, where greeting is the style of life of all the family. Here, where it reigns the heat of the hearth, you will not be of the simple customers but true hosts of our house. To the Bed and Breakfast Antico podere Il Bugnolo not to only rent one room to you, we are not one photo on an anonymous catalogue, not to only deliver the keys and to say as the gas is ignited, but we share with you the customs, our lifestyle, the Tuscany culture.
I stayed in antico Podere il Bugnolo for a few days due to i had to do a eyes laser surgery and my family joined me a few days too, the place is beautiful on a hill just outside poggibonsi and really near by san Gimignano and many other beautiful little borghi. Simone and klaudia the owners are super kind and sweet, really willing to help if you need anything. We had dinner for two nights and simone cooked for us two delicious dinners. We had a few really relaxing days and we go home with beautiful memories too. The rooms were nice too.

This hotel has a lovely location and the buildings are very pretty. The food was generally well presented by the new chef and the staff were very helpful. Sadly there were so many things wrong. Rooms are smaller than an overnight airport hotel. The wardrobe had 4 hangers for 2 people and hotel had no more to offer. There were no real shelves to put your clothes on, just a large open space for what purpose I don’t know. There were no tea coffee facilities. The hotel ran out of beer and the next day a new delivery arrived with a six pack, it was gone before lunch. The electronic room keys kept failing, not just mine but others. I had mine reprogrammed 3 times in 2 hours until I insisted they do something as they have no night staff and a failure would mean getting kicked out of the room all night, they gave me a proper key in the end. Breakfast was nice but why the chef would put bacon in the scrambled eggs when he also had bacon slices is beyond me. I’m a veggie so not helpful. Overall the management was pretty awful.

Bed and breakfast, b & b, bed & breakfast. In Cinciano, something extraordinary is in the air. Hills, spectacular views and breathtaking sunsets. Olive trees, grapevines and cypresses. A sense of hospitality, conviviality and freedom. But most of anything else, you will get a sense of Chianti. The charming, welcoming, definitely fascinating Chianti. Actually, you feel good in Cinciano, and sense the love for the earth by staying in a medieval village, whose story stars nearly a thousand years ago, when the ancient Gens Cincia used to live here. Cinciano's story then goes through illustrious personalities, power plays among towns and old factions and lives inspired by a profound spirituality. A unique place, that you feel at home in, though, thanks to an authentic way of life, combined with marvelous nature, respectful rural traditions and with the wholesome, genuine products of the land of Chianti.
We spent 6 nights at this fantastic venue on the occasion of our daughters wedding. What a truly stunning experience. The wedding itself was magical in every way. The accommodation was great, the food in the restaurant provided by the lovely Alberto was fantastic and the overall service we experienced was second to none. A special call out to the lovely Angela at reception who went above and beyond. Would highly recommend this wonderful venue and look forward to returning in the not too distant future.
