Lovely and relaxing vacation
Reviewed By zizou5_javapalmeWe had a great experience at the Villa D’Oro. The staff is super friendly and is more than happy to assist in any way. We got an upgrade without asking and we stayed at one of the Villas on the hillside with a private pool. The view is breathtaking (especially at sunrise during breakfast) and the interior is quite lovely. We didn’t use the private beach because of the weather. Only thing that needs to be fixed is the driveway to the hotel (dirt road). Besides that, it was a great few days and we would absolutely recommend the hotel any time.

An amazing hotel, let down slightly by poor buffet food and average service
Reviewed By N8949DXnickwThe good - the hotel itself is stunning, including bedrooms and pool areas. Pristinely clean, loads of facilities. Great kids club and splash park. The beach and marina are really nice additions too - although the beach is very stoney. The not so good - the buffet, particularly in the evening was repetitive and the food often luke-warm. There were very limited vegetarian options and a real lack of Greek food which seemed odd?! We literally never saw hummus or pitta, which seemed the most basic of popular Greek foods, in the week we were there. We also found the staff, particularly in the buffet, very blunt and in some cases a little rude. We had to ask for things like drinks multiple times when it was busy which became frustrating and on a couple of occasions (saturday night) the buffet was carnage with nowhere near enough staff to care for the guests in there. It's also worth bearing in mind that the hotel is 1.5 hours drive from the airport too - quite a long transfer. Overall, it's a beautiful hotel with loads of great facilities. If the food and service could be slightly improved it would be a truly brilliant hotel.

Reviewed By Craig10413Situated about 2hrs from Thessaloniki airport but do not let this prevent you from visiting this resort. On arrival the first impression is very nice as the beautiful gardens and flowers display’s around the front of this resort presents a very friendly welcome. This is enhanced once you check in and are escorted to your suite via a short ride on a converted golf buggy along with your luggage and friendly driver who delivers your cases into your suite. Once again the extensive grounds are full of beautiful flowering trees shrubs and plants. The suite we had (137) was very spacious and clean and would have easily accommodated 5, and even though we were all inclusive the fridge was very welcome to store our copious supply of cold water etc. The bed was comfy and the shower was very strong with hot water always available. The room was cleaned daily and fresh towels were presented every couple of days. Both swimming pools are very good and again are cleaned and treated dairy and staff are always sweeping and cleaning these areas. Before we arrived as always I checked Tripadvisor for their reviews of this resort and found quite a few negative comments with regards to the food. I can honestly state that in my opinion these are totally unfounded as the choice quality presentation and the amount of selection were excellent. We were a family of 7 in total two grandparents mum and dad and 3 children 10, 7 and 5 respectively and we all agreed that this restaurant was superb, the staff were very attentive and efficient throughout. Although it’s a self serving restaurant at no time was it hustle bustle during any of the opening times and there is ample room to sit in this very spacious light airy restaurant. There’s also a beautiful beach ( secluded and quiet) within a 10 minute walk, with lots of water sports facilities. Great for a picnic and if you’re all inclusive and let the hotel know the day before then they will provide you with a packed lunch. All inclusive drinks were fine, G&Ts whiskey was okay too as was the red wine and beer. There’s also a couple of shops on the complex for inflatables toys etc and water sun creams and a food supermarket. We had a fabulous time and are looking forward to when we can return.

Reviewed By Stelan1We booked this hotel as a one-night romantic anniversary gateway. We had the suit at the very top. It was fantastic! The place is so serene and beautiful. It’s a small paradise. Our room was really big and lovely decorated. The breakfast was delicious, as was the dinner! Maybe my best meal this year so far!!

Clean and confortable apartments
Reviewed By Storyteller482093We stayed at Kripis studios Palioury for 9 days and we felt like home. The apartment had all you need for comfortable stay. The matresses were super comfy, spotlesly clean sheets and towels. We had a big terace with an amaizing sea and mointain view. There were even beach chairs provided for you to use. The owners welcomed us with a sweet bottle of ouzo. Totally recomending for family stays, we are coming back for sure again as also the Palioury beach is the best in Kassandra, with clean warm sea and not overcrowded.

Blue Avenue is tourist resort that combines luxury villas in a area surrounded by nature. The resort is 500m from the village of Paliouri and 1,5K.m from Xenia beach. All villas has view to the sea, swimming pool and forest. The resort has a lounge area and pool bar that offer coffee and drinks.

Reviewed By MoumoleeIs the most special place with amazing staff and the manager George who go out of their way to ensure that you have a wonderful time and everything you need. From the moment you arrived everyone is so pleased to see you and so welcoming. The place has amazing view of the sea as it is on top of a hill but 5 minutes away from several locations to beach - shops - restaurants and anything you would like. The house is a two storey building with big spaces - full equipped kitchen and a living room to enjoy - clean and brand new with pool view. During the amazing sunsets we ve enjoyed our cocktails next to the pool bar watching the views. We left while we were planning our next visit. Many thanks

Der Wohlfühlfaktor war sofort da .Vor allem auch durch das liebe Paar Angelos und Sofia die uns so herzlich empfangen haben und bei allem sofort zur Hilfe standen. Wir hatten ursprünglich für unseren Urlaub in Griechenland 3 verschiedene Standorte gewählt. Das war der erste. Nach unserem zweiten haben wir uns entschlossen den dritten zu streichen und wieder zu Epos Villas zu gehen. Was wir auch ohne zu überlegen für nächstes Jahr wieder planen. Die Sauberkeit, Lage usw... werden wir nicht so schnell wo anders bekommen. Unsere Kinder vermissen den Pool und wir diese entspannte schöne und erholsame Zeit die wir dort hatten.
