Reviewed By V9105DLevasI have stayed at this hotel several times now, while attending events at the nearby "Folkets Park Skeer". It is easy to find and lovely situated. You can reach the beautiful lake Siljan in just a few minutes walking distance. The owners are very friendly and eager to make you feel satisfied and content. The hotel has a very personal and nice atmosphere and is in old classical style; something that I prefer over modern and fancy. My room, the breakfast, the cleanliness, the service - all quite satisfying! Plenty of parking spaces conveniently located. So i highly recommend this hotel and I look forward to a new visit shortly.

Unga servitriser som ideligen bad om ursäkt för situationen och gjorde sitt bästa. Priset för högt för vad som levereras, det gav en förväntan som helt enkelt inte uppfylldes.

A Christmas delight
Reviewed By HHolsteinFor the very first time we didn´t celebrate Christmas at home. We rented a large apartment during the Christmas and had an experience that supassed my expectations. The apartment was great and smartly decorated and had everythin you need, including a sauna. The surrounding area attracts and there are a lot of things to do. We visited the restaurant on the top of the ski hill, went on a scooter safari, did some downhill skiing. We also visited nearby Mora, Nusnäs and Orsa.

Trunna Hostel is in the site of what was once the Betel bible institute. The lovely hostel is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful and wild nature of Orsa. The hostel is located in the town of Orsa about 14 km from Mora and 13 km from the Orsa Grönklitt ski center. The 85 beds are spread throughout 4 separate buildings; Main house (20 beds), Annexet (13 beds), Villa Torpet (12 beds) and Villa Ekbacken (25 - 30 beds). The complex also includes Trunna Church and Trunna Ceramic workshop. Breakfast can be ordered upon arrival. Sheets and towels can also be rented if required. Wifi is available in the main building. All rooms have access to kitchenette. The hostel is about 1,5 km from Orsa lake with fishing, swimming and canoeing in the summers and ice skatting and fishing in the winter. Trunna hostel is well suited for conferences with 3 conference rooms and Trunna church. Trunna church is available for all occasions; weddings, dance groups and memorial services
Very nice stay
Reviewed By Antonio CI was there last year and given the nice experience I decided to go there again. The management is very kind and gives you room upgrades when available without even asking for. In these COVID times the stay might be tight if the place was crowded, however in my case it was fine. I used also the kitchen for lunch and dinner, the furniture is old and essential, but it works for basic preparations. The room was nice and quiet, the bed comfortable.

Reviewed By gsidirasgrA small hotel with excellent service, honest smiles and a fantastic view over a small river (or something like it) from my window. The hotel also offers a bicycle, by which it is easy to move around. The camping nearby is getting crowded, though still in May. Nature is appealing. I am just sorry I could not stay a bit longer.

Reviewed By LillemusenThe place seems to attract older generation, so it is calm and peaceful. Rooms are great, spacious, with toilets and wardrobes. Several common showers, all clean. Breakfast worth the money, but served only between 8 and 9. Common room could be better, but otherwise perfect STF place.Wifi working fine. Possible to sit outside and enjoy the view. Excellent place.

Beautiful building with its charming decor, views that take your breath away. Just a stunning location for all seasons.

En idyllisk perle for deg som søker det enkle og vakre
Reviewed By BoteswaineTo voksne og to barn (8 og 12) skulle se Bjørneparken på Orsa. Vandrarhemmet kom opp som et alternativ på Hotels.com, og vi tok sjansen. Det var rimelig, og standarden er enkel. Men hvilken sjarmerende beliggenhet, og hvilken herlig vertinne?! Man kan leie håndkle og sengetøy til de faste sengene med hestehårsmadrasser. Hvis man liker mykere senger bør man si fra, så vil vertinnen finne passende rom. Det er et felles kjøkken, men vi valgte å spise frokost inne i hovedhuset (anbefales, ikke minst pga det sjarmerende interiøret og mulighet for å smake selvfermentert gulrot), og denne fornøyelsen koster kr 80 per voksen og 50 for barn. Middag kan man tilberede på stedets kjøkken med spiseplass, men vi valgte av makelighet å spise på Restuarant Udden i sentrum. Jeg gir stedet min varmeste anbefaling. Alle fire ønsker å komme tilbake.
