Reviewed By Handrich2014The reception staff showed me where to safely store my bicycle overnight and I could then continue to my quiet charming room through the beautiful courtyard of this large property which is also used as a classical beer garden with beautiful large trees offering shade and good air. From the balcony of my room I could not only overlook the garden but also the beautiful church right next to he hotel. I went early for dinner which was good as the very good classical Bavarian hotel restaurant is not only catering for in-house hotel guests, but also village people and large bus groups so prior reservation is highly receommended - as I had no problem to be seated as a single person the staff did all they could to accommodate all people which meant also people being seated with other people on the large tables which nobody really mind as it created a very lively atmosphere in that place; and I could like this get to know a nice also cycling couple from Switzerland on my table. After the enjoying the vast breakfast buffet I continued cycling the next morning.

Reviewed By M SIt has all that is needed for a fair price. Very accommodating and friendly staff. You feel welcome. Bathroom and shower could be slightly larger, but do the job. Breakfast has not a huge choice, but all that is needed for Continental tastes, and you can have scrambled eggs etc at special order.

Excellent host and hostess
Reviewed By m50lwsI discovered this little gem by accident after another local hotel closed suddenly. This guest house is in a totally rural setting but still close to the Chemsee and its attractions. If travelling by car there is plenty of space to park and we were warmly greeted by the Owner. The room was very nicely prepared, the bed very comfortable and the en suite bathroom clean, if a little small. The Owner spoke very good English his wife somewhat less but both were keen to make the guest feel welcome, downstairs the restaurant area looks out over the countryside and the food freshly prepared and cooked by the Owner and his wife was delicious. Next to the restaurant was a public bar which only had two "locals" in it but we were offered the opportunity to join in with the entertainment and made to felel very much at home. The building closest to the guesthouse is a beautiful church, which in keeping with Bavarian tradition chimes every 15 minutes with longer peels every hour. At this price you will find it hard to get any where equal or better than this fabulous place.

Frühstück Top und im Preis inbegriffen, Parkplatz vorhanden, Biergarten und lecker Essen zu fairen Preisen. Gerne wieder.
