Stayed here for 4 days and absolutely loved the staff they were all awesome. The hotel is extremely modern compared to nearby options which was definitely a plus. Was disappointed by a few things during our stay here. Our room wasn't ready but luckily they offered us a huge locker so that we could explore the island then come back in and check in later. Cons - The walls are extremely thin walked into the bathroom at 1am and heard an entire conversation from next door. Also the guest upstairs must have had kids because it sounded like the ceiling was going to fall onto us EXTREMELY LOUD. It was kind of ridiculous to be honest I know there isn't any carpet in the rooms but they need some type of sound barrier. - Bathroom is small for my big beautiful people the shower will be a tight squeeze it was for me - There was no soap in our room for the entire stay. And the housekeepers did a poor job of cleaning our room everyday the floor wasn't vacuumed and 2 nights in a row they made our beds but didn't change the sheets and I felt sand all over the sheets. They could have at least shook them. - Our mini fridge didn't actually keep our stuff cold which was fine but disappointed that the rooms didn't have a microwave and there wasn't one downstairs in the "Canteen" area either. They offered hot water if you buy a cup of noodles ........ Overall it was nice just not what I expected. If housekeeping cleaned the rooms a little better and there was a working fridge and microwave even with all the noise it would easily be a 10/10.

We scheduled a long weekend getaway with family at the start of summer. We could not have been more pleased with our accommodations at the Surf-Side in Oak Bluffs. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our rooms were very clean and well maintained. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. The grounds were lovely with beautiful gardens and a lovely patio. The location was ideal, a short walk from the ferry and close to restaurants, shops, a beautiful park, and right across from the ocean. Our family plans to make this trip an annual tradition, and we will book our stay at the Surf-Side for sure!

Thursday walking tour with Tom and Friday Wine and Cheese on the porch are a great way to meet the other guests. This hotel is full of vineyard warmth and charm. Breakfast was wonderful. Fresh fruit, quiche, yogurt, french toast out in the courtyard. Close to everything in Oak Bluff but on a quiet street. Love the rocking chairs on the porch. Waddy at the front desk was one of the most pleasant and helpful hotel staff we have ever met. Bent over backward getting us situated and checked-in early. The morning snacks, the life music entertainment and yoga on the beach were stupendous for the busy summer season. In the middle of everything in Oak Bluffs. We had an amazing weekend at the Attleboro House. The place has a great location, very close to the ferry, restaurants and shops. The view from the porch cannot be beat. The refrigerator was an added bonus in our room to keep our refreshments cold. The room was simple yet comfortable and most important of all clean. Billy, the owner was very friendly and responsive to our questions. We will definitely be back.
