Standard Quest but the rooms smell really bad
Reviewed By Melissa OA fairly stock standard Quest. No frills, fittings are fine, a little dated, but the rooms are spacious and clean. The only huge detractor is the smell. The entire second floor, including our room reeked of bad Chinese takeaway. It was extremely pungent. They should invest in air fresheners. Other than that the hotel is fine

Comfy bed and excellent customer service

All the staff were fantastic, offering wonderful customer service, although I have to give a special mention to Scott the manager and Emily on front counter who really went above and beyond, much appreciated. Highly recommend and seriously hope to be back here.

A hospital trip was necessary, and the Motel was on the list to stay at to be near the hospital.
Reviewed By estherkm2022We found the room not very clean, we had to ask for fresh towels, toilet paper and tea bags. The Dining room was non operational as was the dryer in the guest laundry. We hope that we never have to travel there again, as we had to stay near the Hospital.. There was no bus for guesst to use, taxi services had to be used twice a day.

Enjoyable stay
Reviewed By Adrian HI stayed here a couple of years ago. Very comfortable, good amenities. Hotel restaurant food excellent, but was closed Sunday evening. No surcharge to deliver food to room. Lake view is the best. Really quiet. Staff are friendly and helpful. They were flexible with checkout time, which allowed me to checkout an hour later.

Disappointing
Reviewed By QldBomberFanWe have stayed here many times before but not since COVID. We are disappointed with how the park is now looking. The national parks always looked after the amenities and sites were always clean and tidy. Unfortunately this hasn’t been followed through by Discovery. The amenities are very dirty and when cleaned definitely did not look clean when I did go and use them straight after the cleaner walked out. Currently it’s been two days since they were cleaned which is just disgusting in this current climate. Three of the showers in one block also don’t work leaving only two working and one of those is leaking profusely. Bins were overflowing when we arrived and still took 3 days to be emptied. Location is fantastic but it’s just a disappointing that the maintenance is lacking.

If we had of caught a taxi or Uber from home we would have spent more than double the price on transport, so to pay for one night accommodation was much cheaper. The location was easy to get to, plenty of parking close to the accommodation and reserved for hotel guests. The room itself was large, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was modern and clean. The bed was comfortable. The room was basic and to be expected for a 3 star hotel however it exceeded my expectations and I was happy with my stay.

Excellent, comfortable and reasonable priced accommodation in the Ryde area

The room was impeccably clean and comfortable and the shared facilities also very clean and were more than adequate for my stay . I would happily stay again as the guesthouse provides good value accommodation. The checkin process was also very organised and straightforward. Also appreciated the off street parking. My only concern would be the bathroom facilities if the guesthouse was full but was more than OK for my stay.

Reviewed By robertlind1Adequate - rooms good size and well set out, but needed updating. Daily cleaning adequate, but needs attention to window cleaning. Also, minimal kitchen utensils supplied, only 1 small sachet of detergent and no tea towel, so cleaning of dishes was difficult. Not worth using dishwasher for 2 cups, plates, and cutlery.
