Hotel is fine for short stay
Reviewed By myyellowluggageRoute Inn has small rooms, regular dimensions for Japanese standards, but it is very practical. Situated at just 2 min walking distance from Nobeoka train station and 1 min from a convenience store. Rooms has sufficient amenities and is quite practice but bed is not that comfortable and I would stay for longer than 2 nights. Hotel has vending machines, microwave and 24/7 helpful reception speaking some English. There are public bath as well and a relaxing area. Breakfast is served from 6:45 to 9, restaurant offers typical Japanese food.

I would not stay again
Reviewed By KeizoThis was my first stay at a hotel of APA group as the hotel is very close to Nobeoka Station and the fee is cheap. Because of the cost, I should not complain but I did not like this hotel so I would not stay again at APA hotels. Why? 1. This is a non smoking room but I felf the odor of smoke(slightly though) 2. The room was very narrow. Big westerners may feel like being an Alice in wonderland. (Max allowable height should be 5' 8'') 3. I found several black dirt on the bathroom floor but actually they were spots where plastic surface was taken away. I also found two orange color spot on the wash basin and first thought they were gum but they were just color changed. No problem to use bathroom but did not feel relaxed.

Reviewed By criiircOn first sight, the hotel is great... nice and new facilities, clean, friendly staff... yet the surprise arrived in the room. The air conditioning set at a very low temperature, and there was a note advising you not to modify the settings unless you would like to pay a penalty fee... this would not be a problem, if not because the air conditioning fan was on top of the bed, and functioning all night (hey, good thing is that at least it works haha), so there’s the possibility that you (like we did) will end up waking up a bit sick in the morning. If they would change that, i would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to anyone without hesitation.

Reviewed By Joey_SosWe were visiting our Nobeoka friends, they told us this is the best hotel in town. From our experience of a night stay it could be, this hotel is very clear, staffs are very helpful, room is good size. The hotel offered a nice buffet breakfast with both local and western styles Some staffs at front desk can speak English very well to explained to us about car parking, we parked our car in a need to pay lot cross the street from hotel, to our surprise the hotel staff took the parking slip from us and returned it at checkout with the compliment of the parking fee.

Reviewed By imcw530如住在家的感覺，整潔齊整設備新，無論自駕或坐鐵路皆方便。以地點來說，此民宿已做得很好。 駕車前往：在別館民宿外已有停車場 鐵路：延岡站步行約五分鐘，附近有食店、商場和便利店。 民宿位於延岡，往高千穗約一個多小時車程，自駕遊的話很方便，因民宿前就是停車場，如坐鐵路在延岡站出步行亦不需五分鐘便到。 但check-in要在本館先登記，那是一間傳統的民宿亦是叫兼六園旅館，如自駕的話，別館的地址可能還很新吧，所以在google map是找不到的，因此要輸入兼六園旅館（即本館）或Kenrokuen Inn才能到，這點比較要注意。 我預訂此民宿是一泊二食的日式餐，在本館進餐，頗美味的，因附近較清靜，餐廳選擇並不多，如不想在外尋找晚餐和早餐，預訂一泊二食是最合適的。 房間方面：民宿有三層，但只有樓梯，我們住在二樓，所以如果帶上大型行李較不方便，因我們是自駕，因此只帶日用品進房子，行李留在車上；房子很整齊潔淨及很新，是我喜愛的日式家居佈局，有如住進家的感覺，基本設備俱齊，如想在延岡停留住宿的話，兼六園別館真是不錯的選擇。

Room has mold on ceiling
Reviewed By BigLandJapanStayed at this hotel, the room suffered a water leak probably weeks ago. When we got the room, the staff told us it’s just watermark after the leakage. Couldn’t get a good sleep from the smell of dampen moldy wall. Complaint but was told that they did not know it was this bad, and they could not do anything. Restaurant chairs is just as dirty. Food is edible. Stay away from this hotel.

Good place for one night
Reviewed By Ha PVery basic hotel. There was no English name or sign. I went into a cafe on the other side of the street mistaken it was the hotel, only to get directed to cross the street. It’s in the same building with a cafe next door. The building seems quite old. The room was decent, clean enough of course Japanese standard which is sufficient for me. I didn’t realize I booked a hotel room since it was the cheapest I could find on Booking, the entire time I thought it would be a dorm room. The staff was very welcoming and polite, Japanese standard. I asked him for the bus to Takachiho and where the bus center is, he gave me the information I need. Apparently they don’t have a lot of travel information as a hostel or a guesthouse would have since this is more for businessman. The location is fantastic. The hotel is 5 mins walk to the train station and to the bus center.
