Having lived in hotels all around the world I can truly say that this was one of the few times I've truly enjoyed being at the hotel simply because of the atmosphere and hospitality. Also, the price is exceptional for the quality provided.

Natur works like wonders! Familiar managed 3 Star Plus Hotel in the holiday region of the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern. In summer a starting point for hikes or sightseeing. The Tauern-bikeway starts in front of the hotel. In winter the free skibus brings you in couple minutes directly to the ski area Europasportregion Kaprun/Zell am See.

Reviewed By gijs124124The food was cheap, there was no menu to choose from (although we've been told there would be 3 different menus), the salat buffet didn't exist, bathrooms feel like in a cheap motel, no soap/shower gel provided, no lid in the bathroom sink, cheap mattresses, the ski storage is left open - everyone can access it even from outside the hotel, very small selection for breakfast

Welcome to Haus Gassner, a traditional family guest house in Niedernsill, a beautiful Alpine village in the Kaprun-Zell am See region. We offer comfortable rooms with breakfast as well as apartments with complete kitchen. All our rooms and apartments have private WC/shower and a balcony. Our guests may use the ski room, garden and other facilities of the house. Because of its central location in the Hohe Tauern National Park, Niedernsill is an ideal base for all year round excursions to this area's numerous sights and attractions: Krimml Waterfalls, Grossglockner High-Alpine Road, Werfen's giant ice caves, to name but a few), for cycling and mountain bike tours (we are located right on the famous Tauern Cycle Path), as well as for endless hikes. In winter, the Pinzga cross-country ski trail wends its way through our beautiful Salzach Valley, ideally suited both for beginners and skating "pros". The free ski shuttle (which stops right in front of our guesthouse) will take you to the glorious ski areas in Zell am See, the Kitzsteinhorn's glacier ski area, as well as to the always popular family ski area on the Maiskogel in Kaprun.

Reviewed By AvichaiG1Nice Pension, 15 min from Kaprun. The manager, Romana is very nice. Answer very quickly to the mail and requests. Very good English. The rooms are old fashion, clean. The beds are not so comfortable. Only 2 electric sockets in the room. Breakfast is very basic. Price is fair.

Bijzonder gastvrij, fantastisch appartement
Reviewed By ErwinenNicoleWij hebben gebruik gemaakt van het bovenste appartement, wat geschikt is voor 6 personen. (2 x 3 personen) Het appartement is met smaak ingericht. De ligging is een rustig dorp, nabij de Krimmler watervallen, maar ook populaire plaatsen als Kaprun en Zell am See. Appartement bevindt zich op loopafstand van een bakker die dagelijks geopend is. Gastheer Faj en gastvrouw Neeltje zijn erg behulpzaam met info over de omgeving en bijvoorbeeld het reserveren van restaurants. Fantastische bestemming voor alle seizoenen. Heerlijk balkon met schitterend uitzicht en heerlijk in het zonnetje.

Reviewed By Tibor VUz sme boli 2. Krat u nich lebo sme boli nadmieru spokojny. Co tam boli hostia, vsetci boli, ktory sa tam vracaju kazdy rok. Majitelia su velmi mily a priatelsky. Blizko je Zell am See aj Kaprun. Za dobru cenu vyborne sluzby.

Reviewed By Victor PДля тех кто едет кататься на Китцштайнхорн - Капрун и ищет бюджетный вариант размещения - подходящий вариант. Недалеко остановка ski bus, но лучше со своей машиной. Приветливые хозяева, просторные номера, есть WiFi. Завтрак самый простой - чай/кофе бутерброды. Все по домашнему, уютно. Бесплатная парковка. Язык общения - немецкий, английский. Из минусов: хозяин курит трубку и запах может быть слышен в коридорах. Все близлежащие кафе и магазины закрываются рано, поэтому стоит быть внимательным с планированием ужина после покатушек.
