Awful food, nothing was properly grilled neither fried. Tomatoes were just warm not grilled, sausages and bacons weren’t done at all, Total waste of money. And the temperature was horribly and no fan working neither good ventilation.

My elderly mother, myself and my labrador stayed for 2 nights in this hotel so we could visit a seriously unwell relative locally. All the staff were really friendly. The room was immaculate and more than adequate. Breakfast was reasonable quality and the staff were working hard to clear and clean tables and others were keeping the food well stocked. All this would be expected in a reasonable hotel but they took particular care to spoil my dog with a doggie goodie bag and a sneaky couple of sausages at breakfast time!! Well done team.

Acquaint yourself with the Bluebell, Neath's only four-star boutique hotel, located in the heart of the town centre, within walking distance of the town’s key amenities and attractions. Our hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the stunning Neath Valleys, with its many scenic walks, and celebrated waterfalls. The hotel offers guests excellent hotel accommodation, superb dining facilities and secured on-site parking. The Bluebell Hotel is the perfect choice for those looking for something a little bit special in which to celebrate.
No way this is a 4 star Hotel - 2 star at the most. The car park can hold about half a dozen vehicles and was full of dog poo, beer and and and broken beer bottles as well a building waste. The only request we made when we booked was for Vegetarian Breakfasts and this was fine on the first morning. Second morning was a weekend and when we checked in were told of later breakfasts at the weekend. On Saturday it is not and being just 5 minutes late (after normal time for a weekday) they had packed up so we didn't get anything. The rest of the mornings, no Vegetarian sausages (they could have gone to the supermarket 10 mins walk away and restocked like any 4 star hotel kitchen would). Hotel Restaurant closed for most of the Easter Holiday Weekend. Air Con not working in rooms "they don't work on that floor' was the response ! It was hot that weekend so we had to sleep with the windows open but there is a noisy nightclub nearby and it's near a railway line. No mini bar or even fridge in rooms. The problem with this hotel seems to be that is is staffed by inexperienced young staff (there is a saying that if you pay peanuts, you'll hire...). Take note whoever owns this Hotel.

Room was stuffy and had a damp smell. No air conditioning. Internet intermittent. Noise from ballroom is horrendous in bedrooms. Bath very slip no anti-slip mats provided. Shower head terrible. No cleaning of rooms, despite all COVID restrictions now being lifted, this feels as though its an excuse to not employ enough cleaning staff. Breakfast not great, coffee cold, hot water cold for teas etc.

We had a general all round good stay, views and location were spectacular! Easy to find via car and excellent bike paths in immediate proximity. We stayed in the lodges and loved the squashy armchairs, though woke the next morning with a fair few bites between us. Part of the "information sheet" states to not strip the beds and we wonder if this is for ease for the high turnover ... nothing visible bug wise in the rooms but we were all (4) feeling itchy from our nights sleep. Friend of mine had crusty something on her duvet upon check in. Otherwise comfortable beds, good locks and decent toilet / shower facilities. Would recommend for a night or two, but perhaps bring your own duvet!!

First time since under new ownership called in while on a walk, interior of restaurant has been revamped which looks good, sat outside in the sunshine, food and drink lovely, chatted to the new waitress on her first day of working there who was very polite ! Will definitely return, one criticism if you can call it that, you need to promote this lovely venue we are local, not everyone knows about you

What has happened to this place? Called in a few times lately on late Saturday afternoon . More atmosphere in a Urology Clinic! Expensive too, £6.50;for a coffee and a pint of Carling! This pub use to be buzzing but there's no one there other than young girls who have grown plump in the night looking at the scant food menu! I won't be setting foot in here again until New Landlord's are appointed, as the current one's haven't got a clue on how to bring this place back to it's former glory!

Stayed here on the 6th May and managed about 3 hours sleep before all hell broke loose. more than 10 people gathered in the room next to me and outside in the hallway. Shouting, arguing and swearing at the top of their voices! I felt intimidated and frightened by the noise and the language. Called the reception many times and got through on 3 occasions, he did come to the noisy corridor but could not control this rowdy crowd of drunken people. They just ignored him, it was not until I threatened to call the police that the night porter gave me another room, 3 hours after the 1st call! The next morning I was told to write to the manager, Adam Bergamo, no reply as yet and no offer of a refund after not receiving what they are obligated to provide which is a safe place to sleep. If you want a quiet hotel this is definitely not the place to stay!

I stayed in this hotel last night with the most stunning goddess ever.. First impression of walking into hotel is lovely, Lush bar area the works, Then you get to the room, so so disappointed. Very run down and 1000 percent needs updating. Looks like not been changed since during the war days Room was very dirty. Broken towl rails, window in bathroom celotaped. Im mega annoyed and gutted regards to this as the bar and reception area is lovely. Staff also little rude The wall paper in the room I never seen anything like it and I stay in alot of hotels. Apart from this had lush day and night on beach and up the mountains. Would I recommend a stay here. No Def not
