Pico Sands Hotel is a contemporary seven storey hotel comprised of 154 spacious rooms equipped with modern amenities and captivating views of the lush mountains and tranquil lagoon. The hotel is situated amidst the lush tropical seaside sanctuary of Pico de Loro Cove, a 40-hectare residential resort village and the maiden cove developed by Hamilo Coast.
We stayed here last week as a family trip. It was our first time and traveled with 2 other families. Our expectations were that it was a 4 star hotel, but we also managed our expectations that it is owned by SM, so lower them. The amenities. 4 stars. - Basketball - Play Room (big one) - Bowling - Video Games - Badminton - Swimming - Beach - Pool - Volleyball - Bike Rentals There's not many hotels that offer all of these things, which make it perfect for families to go to. We had a great time overall, but note that everything except the pool and the beach come at a cost. 250PHP is the constant theme. Varying from 1 hour to 2 hours of time depending on what you are doing or 1 game of bowling. It can definitely add up if you have a lot of kids. Rooms. 4 stars. They are really big and spacious. We got the renovated rooms, so I think ours are probably better than the unrenovated. It's not a true "4 star" room, but it was very clean. Felt newer and the 2 queen beds is hard to find. We were really happy about the space. Internet. 2 stars. It was really slow, so if you plan to work, expect disconnect. On a plus side, there is wifi everywhere around the entire resort. Check in. 1 stars. It's probably one of the slowest check ins I've ever been through in my life and this is the process of it. I am not talking about a long line. The actual check in was like 15+ min. Service. 3 stars (restaurant) In order to reserve a table, you have to preorder all your food. There was no one in the restaurant. There's no buffet option, but they charge buffet prices with serving SM frozen food quality. Play room staff (5 stars). Food. NEGATIVE - 1 stars. Probably some of the worst hotel food we have ever had. We tried all the restaurants and only the Beach one was decent. Everything is severely overpriced. SPA - 5 stars. This is one of the few redeeming qualities. It's nice and the massage (scalp and head) was great! Price is reasonable. In terms of covid restrictions. We don't really mind what is or isn't happening because the world has to move on, but we did not feel like it was overcrowded except in the swimming pool. Overall, would we recommend it. Yes if you want somewhere 2 hours from MM with a beach, BUT manage your expectations that the food is horrible. Also water slide was closed.

My phone was lost inside the hotel room and this resort cannot provide me with the CCTV footage as their security cameras in the wing where we stayed is not working as per the security officer and also confirmed by the manager. I asked for an incident report and was told that the "security director" will call me but they never did. The manager sent me the incident report but was incorrect as they stated that it was lost outside the room. They cannot even prove who went inside the room since there is no footage. They never reached out to me to resolve the issue. The other review was right. They don't care at all. A lot of issues need to be addressed by this hotel.

Checked in for 3 days and 2 nights during the holidays with our pets. Location: The resort is around two and half hour drive from Manila. It is situated right in the middle of the farm, on the same provincial road going towards a neighbouring exclusive membership resort. Room: Overall clean room. Bed was comfortable but blankets were thin. The bathroom had the following amenities/toiletries: bath towel, face towel, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper. Dental kits, vanity kits, and blowdryers are not provided. Staff: One of the front desk staff was rude and too rigid. It seems like asking for a glass of water or requesting for an extra serving of sauce was a sin. Housekeeping and restaurant staff was polite. Not everyone wears their masks at all times. Suggest to do further hospitality training for the staff. Amenities: The resort has their own lap pool. It is well maintained and clean. Pool towels are available upon request. They also provide a shuttle service to a private beach inside a nearby residential subdivision. You are allowed to bring food to the beach area but they don't allow meat products. Food: Guest were requested to pre-order their breakfast one day before. Spontaneous ordering was discouraged. We were served burnt food and overcooked sunny-side up eggs during one of our breakfasts. Some of our lunch and dinner orders were also served cold. Serving size was good for family but food was sub-par with poor quality control. Buffet food was not placed on a warmer. They had to take it back to the kitchen to reheat it thus having a long lag time. Guests getting food from the buffet table was also not required to mask up.

Im staying here for my 14 days quarantine. The room is quite good, food is served with a little amount of viand. And the worst is their internet connection! I’ve been calling their attention (calling at FO and even message them in their social media) but it seems theres nothing to fix it. In my case, I needed the internet for my work since I have to answer emails and attend some zoom meetings, also my mobile has a weak signal also in this place. I am a hotelier too and I have a knowledge whenever theres a concern in each department. But here it seems theres a a little unfair, please treat guests in equal for handling requests and concerns not because we are here for quarantine and the govt paid for the accommodation. I feel also this kind of situation at your side, but please dont feel to us that you didnt even listen to my/our concerns.

Just visited Pico deloro in Batangas for two nights. We rented a 2 bedrroom condo for P9000 per night. Comfortable stay with only one CR. Kids enjoyed the pool, but the ocean / cove was a real disappointment. H2O visibility was about 18 inch. Water clarity was not better than beaches in Cavite (Tanza). A condo guest has to pay for pool or beach towell service. One restaurant and a high end 7 eleven on property that was very limited & expensive. We stopped in Nasugbu at a Walter Mart (great market)for supplies & groceries. A great move to skip the restaurant and cook your own meals. I hired a driver for P1500. On the way, we stopped to buy local white corn & bigas (fresh uncooked rice @ P48 for a kilo. To enter the grounds, there is charge for P1600 per person @ $32. That adds up for 7 adults to enter the property( kids are free). The Gym, pool & beach are the only free amenities on property. You cannot use cash on property. Credit, debit or e plus cards ( exchange rate is P50 to the USD)are only acceptable for purchases. Staff is friendly. Do not visit during Holly week. Estimates were @ 5000 people. Beware of staff trying to sell memberships to the site. I wanted to rent a boat to visit another beach. PDL has 13 other beaches for members. There rental rate for non members was P1400 per person for one hour, which equals $200 for 7 guests visit another Beach for one hour. The resort is expensive and limited. If you don't have a car, then you are basically stuck for the duration of your stay. Hotel guests are paying almost $400 per night. My recommendation is to pass Pico deloro as a destination. I have crossed it off my list. Salamat Po.

It’s an amazing beach & resort! A unique way of staycation i ever had. More activites like bowling, billiards, karaoke, bar, and can do hiking also but we didn’t do that hiking. Pico De Loro is indeed recommended staycation for family, couples, and also for barkadad. I had so much fun in here!

Club Punta Fuego is an exclusive membership club/resort in Nasugbu, Batangas with world-class facilities.
My stay in Punta Fuego was memorable as I celebrated my birthday with my family and friends. We had a private dinner in the garden, making it feel intimate, and the food tasted delicious. Also, the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Our stay became more memorable as we did fun water activities such as jetski, banana boat, etc. I indeed had created unforgettable memories with my loved ones, and I will come back to this place.

We’re family of three. Stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, booked 3 rooms with kids in tow. Resort is nice, it’s quiet with good ambiance. Staff are nice and accommodating. Water sports are available, my kids enjoyed banana boat, ufo, flying fish and kayaking. It’s a blast for them.. Limited options at the resto, and most of it are not available, it’s hard for the kids because we’ve been ordering the same menu for 3 days, no other variety, all seafoods are not even available. No bathroom toiletries, tissues as well, better to bring your own. No signal. No wifi available. Try to find signal near the beach or the gate outside the resort. Better to bring cash bc all transactions are cash basis, they don’t accept any other forms of payment

Amara Residences (managed by Club Punta Fuego) located in Terrazas de Punta Fuego Village, Nasugbu Batangas is a condominium-style serviced residence. All rooms are furnished with superior features: a kitchen, a lounging area and a balcony that offers a spectacular view of the sea, forest, and sunset over the horizon.
The sea view is incredible. Sadly that’s it. There are no facilities. There is no bar, no restaurant, no shop, nothing. Take your own food and drink. There is a beach cafe in Terrazas but it closes at 5pm, so you have to drive 20 minutes down a dark dangerous road to Club Punta Fuego for dinner. Why this place doesn’t have the same facilities as Punta Fuego is baffling. I’d consider this night here as a waste of money.
