Conveniently located two miles from Roy Hurd Memorial Airport-E01 and six miles from Sandhills State Park our hotel is right off 1-20. Guests will enjoy complimentary breakfast, an outdoor pool and patio, fitness center, modern guest rooms, pet-friendly amenities and free Wifi during their stay. Enjoy a nearby trip to the Million Barrel Museum and experience part of the oil boom history of Texas!
Not up to Hilton standards
Reviewed By hyeykysyNo digital key available. In fact no keys were available. Front desk clerk had to escort each guest to their room to let them in, leaving no one at front desk. No manager or additional staff came to assist. Bathroom not cleaned very well, crumbs on desk and around tv. Hot water was at best Luke warm . Eggs and bacon cold at breakfast, did have good coffee. One of our worst Hampton inn experience ever. Will stay at another property if travelling this route in the future.

Clean Spacious Room with Kitchenet and Comfy Beds
Reviewed By mimicalarconWe stayed at the Hawthorn Suites By Windham Monahans for one night to visit the Monahans Sandhills State Park and the Guadalupe Mountains National Park. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was just OK; it was limited options. The swimming pool was closed. We asked to a receptionist regarding the swimming pool, and she said we can go to their sister hotel, the Microtel Inn, but we did not go there due to we already checked out and needed to go to next destination. Over all, our stay was wonderful.

Reviewed By Indira Felipe PWe were hoping because it was a 3 star hotel it would be better quality than the 2/ 1 star but it was definitely not. I think we may have been the only guests, breakfast was OLD, no one was available for service. Will not be back, there are plenty more hotels around that area.

Decent Room With Some Staff & Property Improvements Needed
Reviewed By Tom GI stayed in a room with one queen bed for a long weekend at this property and liked the full size refrigerator w/freezer, stovetop, and microwave as well as the relative spaciousness of the room, comfortable bed, and mostly clean presentation (except for some of the dishes stored in the dishwasher). I was surprised that very few towels were placed in the room (maybe they've had problems w/theft??)but exchanges were possible at the Front Desk. The young adult female Front Desk staff person I encountered the most was almost entirely dour, short in her replies that bordered on rude, and not at all hospitable to me. A young man was a bit better yet not particularly friendly either. (Two other female Front Desk staff were friendlier and more hospitable in singular brief encounters). At the time of my visit, apparently no housekeepers were scheduled to work Saturdays or Sundays and therefore garbage in the Laundry Room and receptacles at the end of hallways was overflowing and unsightly. The outside of the property needed some attention due to cig. butts, various trash around the building and in the parking lot. On further visits to this town, I chose not to stay at this property as there are better and kinder options around.

Lots of loud tricks and loud oilfield workers
Reviewed By UgomoeBring your ear plugs for a night. The staff is pretty nice. No gym, no breakfast and no pool. Pillows are comfy though. Not much food nearby. It’s best just to go stay in Odessa. Truckers keep their trucks turned on all night, guys coming in drunk at all hours of the night. Sad actually.

Clean, Quiet, Respectful, Professional
Reviewed By dan4cs6s2017I drove out of the way to stay at this property as it is a new. It is usually a safe bet that it will be clean. It was above my expectation in just about every way. Most notably the service. I was upgraded as a result of past Marriott stays. Two rooms, two television screens, four floors up overlooking the Texas landscape, quiet, private. Room service never bothered me once. How I do not like waking up to be asked if I want room service. The window sun shade was unique with a green tree environmental feel to it. The bed not only had lighting on each side, it had additional direct lighting for reading at night. The pillows and mattress... perfect. The shower stall clean, bright and roomy. I dropped food all over the elevator floor, it was cleaned immediately. The pool small, perfect for some relief from the heat. Every front desk receptionist I dealt with was professional, respectful, everyone working at the place was friendly. Having booked an overnight, I ended up staying six nights. The room, so comfortable and clean... I will go out of my way for a return stay while traveling. This... my first five star rating.

Reviewed By AacarpeWe mapped out our route and this was an option for the overnight stay. Big mistake! We checked in around 8pm. When we opened our door to our room, it was 92*!!!! Their was NO air on at all in the room. We turned it on and it seemed to be cool air coming out, by 10:30 pm, I was dizzy and nauseous! My husband goes down to speak with the attendant about changing rooms. She found a room for us in the first floor and turned the air on for us to start cooling it down. Apparently all air is turned off in all the rooms even in 104 temps outside... We changed rooms and it was cooler in that room so we went to sleep. Waking up, we had a chance to see the conditions of the room. It just was not thoroughly cleaned. The bathroom floor even had a snip of ??”beard hair”... we were brushing our teeth with our bottled water and running out the door, to just leave, skipped the shower all together. Just don’t stop here if your passing through!
