Ideal para hacer base y recorrer varios lugares de Mendoza

En el centro hay varios bares y algunos restaurantes. Nosotros 1 día cenamos en La Faustina, un resto muy lindo y con muy buena comida. Es caro pero era el cumpleaños de mi novio así que valió la pena. El resto d ellos días cenamos en el hotel que nos hospedábamos Risco Hotel. Desde Malargue recorrimos el Calin del Atuel, las leñas, pozo de las animas, Laguna de la niña encantada, termas de cajón grande y el castillo de pincheira. Las Leñas es hermoso! Todo el camino por medio de las montañas hasta llegar ahí no tiene desperdicio! Cuidado qué hay muchos animales sueltos en la ruta así qué hay que ir con cuidado.La idea era ir hasta valle hermoso pero el camino estaba muy embarrado así que no pudimos llegar. Así que nos quedamos recorriendo por ahí, las montañas y los arroyos son hermosos! El pozo de las animas no me gusto! Si bien queda de paso es para bajar 1 minuto y sacar 1 foto! No más que eso jajaja La Laguna de la niña encantada tampoco nos gusto! Hay que hacer 7 kilómetros de ripio en muy mal estado. Llegas y tenes que pagar $120 por persona para ver una Laguna muy chiquita de color verde… claramente no lo recomiendo habiendo tantas cosas lindas por hacer en Mendoza.

Adriana and her family are always prompt to help and plenty of suggestions, affectionate and flexible. The apartment is cozy, warmth, and regularly cleaned. Close to the police station, it is excellently located for its closeness to the main Street, park st Martin, restaurants and pubs (one just next to their door) and the observatory (15 minutes walking).

Reviewed By AlejandrOakyWe've been to Malargüe several times and this is by far the best place to stay. Service is excellent, prices are reasonable, away but not far from town, excellent (and clean) both swimming and tempered pools, great sauna. We'll definitely be back!

Reviewed By Guest3592We arrived deeply in the night with no reserve and received amazing attention at the front desk and what is most important got a big warm room with everything needed. We stayed at the room 13 and can recommend it for families. There is also private secure parking and patio. At night the hotel Is well illuminated and there was no problem to find it. All in all had a feeling that the team cares for a place. Breakfast room is beautiful and well maintained. I personally liked that they serve real butter (made from milk) and not the vegetable margarita that we previously had at the other hotel.

Reviewed By JustinSirayThe cabins were beautiful, clean, well equipped and made for an amazing stay. The grounds are well taken care of and the staff go above and beyond to make you stay comfortable. The prices are fair and you really get what you pay for. In addition I was in a car accident in the town and the owner Daniel what above and beyond to helping us navigate with the local police and in addition gave us beers on the house to calm the nerves; truly exceptional service.

Reviewed By Fair2014Poor location at the skirts of Malargue, neighbor to company warehouses and garages. Worn out cheap facilities. Clearly no updates since built. Poor to no-service. "Wannabe" place, nothing close to the pictures and features you find at the internet. Be aware of mother nature insects inside the unit.

EcoMalargue Posada & Hostel is located in a rural landscape with a beautiful view of the Andes. This provides a innovative and alternative accommodation just 6 kms from the center of the city of Malargue. The environment allows travelers visiting EcoMalargüe to get in touch with nature in different ways: enjoying the scenery, the sky and embody with the peace of the place. Since 2003 we are one of the first Eco-Hostels in Argentina. We are located in a rural environment in Malargüe with a beautiful view of the north Patagonian Andes. Malargue is an important tourism spot in the south of Mendoza province. It’s unique landscapes enable visitors to get in touch with nature and be able to do adventure, cultural and scientific tourism. Due to this, we chose this area to build our Eco Hostel, which became a place where people from different cultures can meet in a friendly environment, but also reconnect with nature and oneself. Ours is a sustainable and ecologic proyect. The building was built with „Quincha“, an ancient construction system, using regional materials. Also, most of the windows are recycled glass, for example, car windshields and bottles. Regarding clean energy, we have incorporated solar panels to contribute to reduce CO2 emissions. In addition, we encourage visitors to separate waste and keep an eco-friendly attitude not only during their stay but also at home. As a result, 80% of the hostel’s waste is recycled: in a local recycling cooperative and compostable waste in our worm compost. Besides, we offer eco-tourism activities: horseback riding (natural tamed horses), bicycle rental and visiting our farm, pasture and greenhouse. Additionally, with the same eco-philosophy, we have a tourism agency with tours to Malargüe’s natural wonders.

Reviewed By Juan PWell managed, clean, affable personnel, Offers very nice country surroundings with lot of animals, dogs, chickens, horses, etc. the Hostel offers 45 minutes horse back riding at a reasonable price. The drawback is that you can only have meat turnovers from it or expensive pizza only delivery and there are 6 miles to town and 2 of those are on very hard large pebble road. Getting to it was very difficult to find , even with a GPS moderately priced, but expensive for what it was as a Hostel.

An excellent package
Reviewed By Plymouthtraveller8The apartments Al Sur are owned by Karen Travel who operate out of Malargue in Mendoza Province Argentina. We contacted Karen Travel about 6 months in advance and were offered a package of 4 night in Al Sur and 3 day tours for my wife and myself, overall this represented excellent value for money. On booking we understood that the apartments each had a small kitchen, but on arrival all that was provided was a micro wave. Santiago, the owner who greeted us at reception told us that it was now not permitted to have kitchen facilities in bedrooms hence the provision of only a microwave. We were clearly in the low season as far as Malargue was concerned and the restaurant on the top floor of the Al Sur apartments was closed, so we were offered the facilities of the restaurant kitchen when we did not want to dine out, which proved more than adequate. The apartments are spacious, ours had a good bathroom, but the apartment itself was rather sparten. Some redecoration and some soft furnishings would go a long way to making the apartment more homely. The apartment was clean and was serviced each day and is situated on a side road which runs at 90 degrees to the main through road which is part of Ruta 40. There is a small but well stocked mini market in the same road which is literally 2 minutes walk away and since we arrived by car we were given the free use of one of the garages. Our apartrment slept 5, had one bedroom with a double bed and there were 3 bunk beds in the main living room where the microwave was situated. We suspected that because of thes additional beds the kitchen had to be removed. Santiago and his team proved to be excellent hosts and Santiago himself is a bit of a practical joker, so if he takes you on a tour you should not take everything he says at face value. Would we stay here again, yes, especially if we had the same deal.
