Great Restaurant, but Improper Front Desk

Fontana the main dining was cozy and quiet, we enjoyed a great dinner with professional service. But the front desk was horrible. They didn't show which cost will be subject to the hotel points. I think this accommodation does not have integrity. If you are a mileage runner or point collector, please avoid this hotel. Totally different from The Okura Tokyo. オークラブランドのホテルとして認識しておりましたが、首をひねるサービスがフロントで多々あり、参りました！

When it all falls into place
Reviewed By Rob MIt is my long held belief that in the hospitality industry the service level depends on the level of control, expertise and experience that top management can transfer onto each and every staff member. Mr Markus Kosch sets the example for all the follow in this Hilton and he does so in a difficult environment to control, with high overnight guest turnover rates, in a family resort hotel next to Disney Japan. Yet the team, manages to be kind, professional, efficient and helpful at any moment of day or night. They manage to let the guests enjoy their stay at the fullest without one guest impeding on the others experience. It is a relief for my wife and me to be here and we will extent our stay till one month. Deciding to stay in a family resort next to Disney was ready to lower my expectations and adapt them to the best possible rather than simply the best. In doing so, I shortchanged Mr Kosch and his team for which I fully apologize. They deliver the full and complete Hilton experience and go out of their way to go the extra mile. I am impressed. And I know myself to be a very demanding customer. Fair, but demanding and even difficult. But when it is good, it is good. And when it is very good to excellent than, as a difficult customer, I hurry to be one of the first to salute and express my respects and gratitude to a job extremely well done. From the moment my taxi stopped, to a personal greeting by the GM, a flawless check in, a very nice room, courteous and friendly service by all staff without exception, the quality of the food ( again not easy in view of the numbers and guest turnover), the lounge setting and service, the cups and glasses in the room, the respect for the environment in active attempts to limit the use of plastics....it can't be faulted. I admit, I am impressed and that is a feeling that a rarely experience these days. I now wrote twice that I am impressed in this review and that must be a first for me. Those readers that would think me overstating my praise, do not know me. I am not genetically inclined to give compliments when they are not earned. But this hotel is earning it stars with distinction every day, with motivated, friendly efficiency and hard work. I would gladly pin an extra star on each of the staffs uniforms. They earn it

Great for families with kids, service and food options need improvement
Reviewed By cometdebrisCheck in was far too long (close to 40 minutes!). So much time wasted and then they refuse late check out?! Check in could easily be shortened by simply giving me my room key without the unnecessary explanations. And what is the purpose of checking in on the Marriott Bonvoy app? Shouldn’t this make checking in a bit smoother? I highly recommend the Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay for families with children. There are so many activities available such as the pool, games area, Treasures play area, garden, and mini golf. The Treasures rooms are also fun and decorated with children in mind. One thing that needs improvement however is the food situation. There are no snacks or smaller dishes available for quick meals. There is a children’s menu in the Grand Cafe and for room service, but almost nothing in the store and Toastina. We are often forced to leave the hotel for smaller meals and more options. I appreciate the room upgrades as a Bonvoy Platinum Member. We received regular one rank upgrades on each visit, and they usually take our requests. But after all these visits we still haven’t received a “Select Suite” upgrade, and I’m wondering if this property actually gives these out. How are these decided? Are they not given at the Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay? We used the Club Lounge a couple times during our stay and it is very comfortable place to relax or have a snack. The evening cocktail service is quite nice with a lot of food and drinks, but no vegetarian options. However, the staff there are very good about preparing a vegetarian dish or two whenever we are there. Finally, it would be nice to be acknowledged as a Platinum Member especially since we stayed close to 20 nights at the Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay last year and every month so far this year. This is literally our home away from home. Please show a little more appreciation to your loyal guests.

Reviewed By KaoruN26The room is confortable and the staff memberds are kind and helpful. We booked a "pleasure room" and room wifi was not available, which was adrawback. Very conveniently located to Tokyo Disney Resort. However, parkinf fee was a little bit expensive, namely 2700 yen/ stay.

Nice Hotel, Good Service
Reviewed By zagsThis hotel was nice, the room was sparkling clean and comfy. Amenities were good. As a Disney Resort partner hotel, the facilities include shuttle bus to Maihama Station and Bayside Station for access to DisneySea and Disneyland. As most hotels in Japan that I learned, it also provides a package delivery service which I found very convenient. As we move from place to place this service made it possible for us to go by train or bus without dragging heavy luggage as we had sent it to the next hotel. It also provides a contactless checkout facility via room TV, so if you don't have anything to settle at the front office you can use this. We did, and found it very easy and convenient.

I love every details of the hotel, from the reception area to the bathroom shampoo containers. All have Disney touch! My kids loved it! We also have easy access to Disneysea! I love this place more than Disneyland Hotel but staying on both hotels are recommended to complete the experience!

Nice experience but...
Reviewed By jmrollsPerhaps the perfect place to stay when visiting Tokyo Disneyland. However, you have be 4 persons in your group to get your money's worth. The room rate is calculated for 4 person and the beds in the room could turn into 4 beds. The amenities are cute but the shampoo/conditioner/etc provided were ironically for 1 person. They'd be happy to provide more if you ask though. The hotel is basically Disney allover with a high ceiling lobby. The themed room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast isn't included in the room but they also wouldn't offer your option when you check in. Figure out yourself. There are some restaurants within the property and you have to make reservation. We weren't able to avail of the breakfast buffet at the Sherwood Garden but we were able to book for lunch. It's not worth the money. The food options were like leftovers from from the breakfast buffet with more added deserts. It's my friend's birthday so I told the check in counter lady if there are any special things for that. I was handed a menu where I could order exorbitantly priced meals. I asked if there are any simpler things. Then I was told to order from the room-- like room service. Oh well. All in all, while it was a nice experience, it's not something that I would be longing for.

Reviewed By DawnChoiFrom Narita Airport, we took airport limousine at Bus Stop #12. Check-in was a breeze. Our room faces the swimming pool (was big but closed due to cold weather) and fireworks directly in front. The room was very big, my family of 4 has a room with 3 double-bed and a sofa bed. Service at the hotel is very good. The staff will approach you in advance when you are queuing. Beside hotel is Ikspiari (a shopping area with many resturants, Disney store, cinemas and food court). Hotel provide Disneyland and Disneysea bus. I like this Hotel location as we can easily get inexpensive food from the foodcourt.
