Want to escape to a beautiful resort nestled amidst lush greenery and misty mountains? Coorg wilderness resort is your place to be. A truly incredible property with beautiful rooms, lots of eye catching flora and fauna, delicious food and warm hospitality, this is a great place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Stay : We stayed at their Groove view suite, a complete state of the art european chalet style room that will leave you spellbound. With a cozy and warm ambience this suite is one of the best we’ve stayed at. It has heated floors, an electric fireplace, a huge bathroom with a bathtub, a massive balcony, study, a comfy bed and more. The room is studded with opulent upholstery and offers stunning views of the sprawling wilderness. Dining : While offering a memorable and luxurious stay, Coorg wilderness resort is also a great F&B destination with two main restaurants offering incredible food. Habba their multicuisine, all day dining restaurant offers a sprawling buffet spread with ala carte options too, surrounded by untouched views of the misty hills. Experience cuisines from all over India in a plush and cozy ambience as you devour a delicious meal at Habba. Vembanad is a one of a kind specialty restaurant offering seafood and local Coorg cuisine that will tantalise your tastebuds. The food is rich and bathed deep in the history and culture of the local people, honouring and heroing the beautiful local produce of Madikeri. Activities at the property : You’ll be spoilt for choice with the sheer number and variety of fun activities at Coorg wilderness resort that will keep you busy all day. We went on a beautiful nature walk and explored the rich flora and fauna of the area with a tour of their coffee plantation too. After this, head on to a special coffee experience session with their head barista to learn all about coffee from bean to cup. Apart from this you can also wake up early and go bird watching to see some incredible bird species of Coorg or go on for a sunset walk in the evenings with beautiful views. Nikaay spa : Relax and rejuvenate amidst the cool weather and calming mountains with a lovely therapy at Nikaay spa. We indulged in a head massage and a full body aromatherapy treatment that left us with a sense of utter relaxation and calmness. How to reach : We flew down to Mangalore from Mumbai and then the hotel had arranged for a pick up and drop from Mangalore airport to the property which is around 3.5 hours. You can also travel from Bangalore/Mysore/Kannur. Overall we had an unforgettable experience at Coorg wilderness resort. It’s truly the epitome of a luxurious gateway amidst nature.

I had a wonderful time staying in this hotel. Big, spacious, clean rooms. Fast service. Good food. Good location. Friendly staff. But the internet is average and swimming pool is small. But I'm glad I chose this place. It made my Coorg trip memorable.

Very small and pathetic condition of rooms. The photos they show on website is completely different. The washroom is so small that you couldnt fit in. The person on reception is rude. The bed has very bad smell and there were many insects in the room.

Karnataka Hotels Madikeri, ideally located on the edge of the mountains, offers spectacular views of the valley. Recently renovated and capacity-enhanced, the hotel provides a total of 36 air-conditioned, deluxe and standard double rooms. A restaurant with an attached bar offers a range of dishes, including the famed Kodava fare. The hotel also arranges Coorg sight-seeing and activity trips.
Hotel is at a good location with a valley on the back. Close to Raja's seat. Manager and staffs were very helpful. The room (AC Deluxe suite) was big enough and clean. There was a water tank outside the allotted bedroom's window and the valley view was obstructed with the trees outside. The breakfast had limited options and full of South Indian dishes. I suggest, bread toast could be added to the menu. The chairs in the open dining area are so old, ugly and creepy to use. Swimming pool was full of algae and fungus, even from the bottom tiles. It was highly unusable. After complaining, it was cleaned to most possible extent. But it was still unhygienic to use. There was a foul smell of drainage in the lawn when we walk through to reach the pool. Also, was not able to sit in the lawn due to this smell. Overall the hotel was not worth the rate paid.

Kartik also escorted us to visit the estate, coffee plantation, boating & river view... Property is too good with spick & span rooms , bed sheets , bath rooms etc. Overall we all enjoyed our stay & highly recommend to stay.

The resort has been built on the area which had the least vegetation, even amending the architectural drawings to accommodate existing trees. The building blends with the topography and has the same color as that of coffee blossom. This area is home to coffee, both Robusta and Arabica, as well as pepper. It has been beautifully landscaped. The property has beautiful views.
I recently visited this place along with family for 2 days, here is what I observed and experienced during my stay at Brook stone villa. Location :- As many of them stated reaching this place requires you to pass though adventures route, around 2 KM from the main road closed to Madikere town, since it was sunny weather we could manage but not sure once it rains there might be lot of water clogs on the way need to be very careful. Once you reach the place its located in a beautiful spot surrounded with lot of greenery a isolated resort with clean and tidy rooms and restaurant, peaceful and completely away from normal city traffic and sounds. Food :- We really felt a bit disappointed during breakfast, we were served leftovers of last night curry as sambar for the idles and upma was smelling really bad, no one to complain, looks like it was complementary they dint gave much attention. We ordered simple ransom rice and chicken for dinner which was Ok, thanks to Jayanth. Staff :- Housekeeping staff received us and provided the rooms keys, dint see any manager while we arrived no one to ask what you need, I felt for a moment that along with resort management is also isolated. We had to work our way out to ask for water, order dinner and things we needed, also to our surprise we noticed non staff members loafing around the resort smoking and playing loud music. I could only see the manager when I left just to collect the money. Price :- Stay seem to be a bit on expensive side you could find similar resorts with better service, also food they charge at 4star price for 2 star service and quality, please check the price before you order. Overall a good resort need more improvement on service and pricing of food, some one looking for such resort please make sure to come on weekends and also make sure they have enough people booked to the resort, else for few customers they don't really care much.

This is a serviced apartment, at such a beautiful location that you can see the complete Coorg town and valley from your balcony. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The cleanliness is very good and standard of fittings and fixtures is immaculate. The dining hall on top floor has beautiful view again, and the management has provided fridge, microwave etc at the same place. My only crib is that there's no cooking facility. I understand that its a small property and hence won't be economical for the hotel to cater for all meals. However, they can provide basic things such as readymade coffee, tee, some bread-omelette etc of course. Secondly, the hotel should tie up with one particular good restaurant towards catering for meals for the guests . anyways, the crib aside, I can say that this has been one of the most memorable stays that I had. This property is strongly recommended for any travellers looking at staying in a budget accommodation without making any compromise. Also, its very close to raja's seat

FOREST VALLEY HOME STAY is situated 2.5 km away from Madikeri City. Surrounded by forest with a Valley adjoined by paddy fields where you are free to roam around and enjoy the nature. Totally different experience apart from the boring city life. You can have a healthy walk watching birds across large paddy fields and play by the natural stream. This place looks like a piece of paradise, we have small swimming pool for children. The food we serve here is loved and brings our guests back regularly. Coorg food, especially the signature pork dish, Pandhi kari is a hot favorite. The other cuisines served are the regular South Indian and Indian dishes.
We friends had taken the tree house villa for 4 nights and we overwhelmed with the stay ,food and service given by the caretakers Pawan and his crew and the property owner for making out stay memorable. Kudos to the team .. the property is well maintained rooms and bathrooms were upto date even in the rainy season there were no signs of dampness or fungus..
