No frills hotel. Quiet.
Reviewed By doonfootyNo frills hotel that does the basics well. Good sound insulation: there was a loud group from India on my floor both nights but this did not disturb me. My King room was large and comfortable. The wifi was excellent and there are Apple terminals and phone charger ports in each room. The room document says there are USB plugs next to the bed but I could not find this. Breakfast is simple and intended to be eaten on the fly. The breakfast room was clean but Spartan. There is a metro station close by as well as a large shopping mall with food courts. Strangely, the shops close at 6pm although I found dinner in the IGA supermarket deli section which stays open later. There is construction going on next door but, again, noise was not an issue. Plenty of room in the gated car park and I counted 5 car charging stations.

Reviewed By Travis CSo me and a friend stayed here this past weekend. It’s a sink hole nothing like the pictures. Manager was not kind I called to say that we were going to be a little late getting back because of traffic for our 12 check out at the R-100 and the manager said it was fine on the phone then when we got their they charged me $10 late few and would not even acknowledge that I called and they said it would be fine. Your going to have to Uber or pay parking so would recommend paying a little more for a lot nice in Montreal. The bed sheets had holes in them, the sink was cracked, the AC did lot work, the walls are paper thin could hear people yelling all night. Stay at your own risk.

The manager does not speak french nor english, she is always yelling at people.Hot water not always available, very poor internet, have to fights to get supplies (towels, toilet paper, tissues), smelly, bad decor, very small old TV - NOT FLAT SCREEN AT ALL, black mold on walls. Left deposit for dogs, never got it back. Garbage everywhere, pool not in use for a very long time, maintenance in general very, very poor. Prostitutes and dealers all the time, violence, stabbing. Not that cheap, not a place where you can rest/sleep. Many other places are better than this.

Safety is a concern
Reviewed By TWOttawa_CanadaI stayed at this hotel last weekend with three team mates as a part of a group booking. We arrived late and had an early morning ahead of us. Upon checking in we received our room key and proceeded to our room. However, when entering our room, there was someone already in that room. We were given the key to someone else's room. After returning to the front desk and receiving our appropriate room key, we were assured that we would be compensated for the incident. Upon checkout it was re-confirmed that our charges would be discounted. However it has been a week and my credit card has been charged the full amount. As a woman checking into a hotel, I expect that I am safe in my room, however after this incident, I didn't feel safe and barely got any sleep. Wondering if they would do the same thing, and give our key to someone else. When given the opportunity to fix the situation, they only offered false promises. 0/10 do not recommend.

Reviewed By JR_of_KamloopsThere is really not much wrong with this hotel other than the location. Its close to literally nothing but the busy highway (which you can hear). Clean rooms, nice set up, comfortable but the area is really a turn off.

Dirty Hotel and poor Customer service
Reviewed By kristiankielMy family and I, arrived at the hotel around 4PM and looked forward to relaxe after a long roadtrip from Niagara to Montreal. At first the receptionist seemed nice and we checked in. The only thing we ask for is a clean room, which were the only thing we did’nt get. The beds were made and “cleaning seal“ on the toilet so the cleaning Ladies had been there. We found dirt and pieces of Food on the floor, used cleenex on top of the closer, Old food in the fridge from the previous visitors. When we looked in the bed, there were hair in it. We decided to leave and check out immidiately. The receptionist claimed that she was not aware if the cleaning had been done and went to check the room herself. She came back stating that it had not been cleaned and asked if we wanted another room. Needless to say that this is of course not true, as the beds were made and on the toilet there was a “cleaning seal band” stating that cleaning had been done. I asked for refund, but she would not refund anything - she just asked us to contact the booking portal ourself. Disappointed we left the hotel, that also looked a mess outside. So in short, poor service, filthy, dirty and in very very poor condition. The surroundings are terrible and the hotel appears warn out, as well and you absolutely don’t feel like eating from that place. I’d rather sleep in the car than spending 1 second at this hotel. If I could rate this hotel with “minus-stars” I would have done that.

Rooms are spacious and decorated in retro style at Motel La Siesta. The rooms also boast small refrigerator and a small seating area. Guests can use the laundrette or stop by the 24-hour front desk. The motel also has a terrace. The Motel La Siesta- Greenfield Park is 9 km from Casino de Montreal. The Saint-Lambert Golf Course is 5 minutes’ drive from the motel. We speak your language!
A hidden gem in Montreal
Reviewed By ANN FStayed here with my son a few weeks ago. I was very pleased with the service I received. Everyone at this hotel was not only very accommodating but was extremely helpful in teaching me how to get around Montreal. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel which can take you to the Metro. I have no reservations about recommending this motel to friends and family. I am already planning on returning next year same time.

Nice, old, dusty
Reviewed By SamuelChamplainI was there for one night for a family reunion. This hotel seems to be stuck in time, somewhere in the '90. The place is nice, clean, but old. The parking and wifi are free. The location is good, very next to the tunnel to Montreal, and 15min drive from several restaurants. But there is absolutely nothing around to walk to since the place is located on an island, and it seems like the only building there. The lobby is very large. Staff is friendly. There is no restaurant there, no pool. They serve a decent free breakfast, nothing hot, but a good selection. The room was clean and in relatively good shape. The decor is old. The bed was ok, could be better. The place is quiet. The only down side is the carpet in the room that are very dusty. We were all sick (congested) from the dust. Memo to staff : clean the carpets. Memo to maintenance : replace these carpets asap. The value is amazing. I paid $74 (+ tx). Hard to resist for a place that nice. But because of the dust issue, I am giving 3 dots and we won't probably go back. But if you are not that sensitive to dust, this is the place to stay, for a quick stop.
