This hotel was a gem of a find and would certainly recommend it. A very warm welcome from friendly and helpful staff. Nice large room cleaned to a high standard with a lovely view, which you don’t always get from a Premier Inn. Restaurant next door or local eateries within walking distance. Beautiful lake full of swans to walk around or just sit and watch, just around the corner. Very peaceful!

Family run independent hotel, 50 bedrooms, conference 20-350 guests, Spa, Gymnasium, Indoor Swimming Pool, Sauna, Steam RoomSpa Packages
The service I received from diplomat was outstanding. From the spa to the restaurant it was absolutely top notch. I bought a solo spa day package for £58 and it was well worth the price and more! All the staff were amazing and paid special attention to me being a younger woman on my own. The massage I had and the treatment room was incredible and super relaxing. The spa has such great facilities and is kept so clean and tidy. When it came to my afternoon tea I was meant to go in a lift to the restaurant but I have a phobia of lifts so they were happy to walk me there. When they brought my tea out I was so surprised with how much was there and how well put together it all was. I've lived here for a long time and I will say with confidence the diplomat is the best and only good thing Llanelli has. Keep up the good work!!!

The hotel was not very clean and the staff were very unprofessional and not looking out for the people around. The area was very noisy because of the construction work and that was very annoying during the stay.

Stayed here for a wedding. The venue was lovely, and the rooms and breakfast incredibly good value. Everything was spotlessly cleaning, and the restaurant food was really tasty and great value. I thought initially that the two nights for the price of three would mean a compromise on quality - I could not have been more wrong. The biggest cheer though goes to the staff - all of them, cleaners, waiters, bar staff, reception, management- friendly, efficient and just all round lovely!

Steak night deal sounds great, 2 steaks, 2 drinks for £22, can't go wrong ! Well they can ! Nice steaks but very few chips and half a bag of peas. Had to ask the sullen barmaid for the onion rings which considering it was 2 small ones each wasn't worth the bother. A well, a free drink each you may say, only if you like Carling. Disgusting for a Brains pub. Cant recommend, shall not return !

Choose from TWIN / DOUBLE / FAMILY or ADAPTED rooms, furnished to a high standard, all rates include free parking and WiFi. Located within the popular shopping area of Parc Pemberton - Trostre Retail Park, adjacent to the home of the Scarlets Rugby Team Parc Y Scarlets. We have BT sports in our Bar area and we will now be showing 52 Premier League games a season, all of the UEFA Champions and Europa League games, plus Premiership Rugby.
Stayed here from 1 night due to a house move, a clean and comfortable room for an extremely reasonable cost, I’ve paid more in similar hotels and have not been impressed, but the Sessile Oak is a worthy exception. We had a meal, which was extremely tasty, piping hot and a very friendly service from ALL the staff. What stood out for me was how quickly they removed used plates and cleaned down the tables, this is very rare these days where you see staff delivering food and walking past dirty tables, I could never see the sense in this practice as in the end they are walking further than they need.

We stayed three nights for a road trip and the location is just perfect to reach West and South Wales... They advise you about places to visit or where to eat. The breakfast is home made and can change every morning based on what you prefer or if you have allergies. Everything was just PERFECT!

Rhys and jo welcome new and returning customers to the newly refurbished family establishment completed february this year 2015. The Stag and Pheasant inn is an ideal place to stay, close to the M4 and set in the beautiful countryside of Carmarthenshire. There are many great sites to see with The National Botanical gardens of Wales and Carreg Cennen Castle and many other great places to visit only a short distance away.
Me and a large group booked for Sunday dinner for a birth day and could not of asked for better. The waitresses were straight to serve us drinks and gave us plenty of time to choose what we would like to eat, as I find some times in large groups they can rush you. Food was served with tureens of vegetables and they kept coming so nobody went short. On tiny fault was beef was slightly tough but for the price and the service we are more than happy. We will definitely be coming again
