We stayed here recently for 2 nights booking the rooftop rooms for the second time. This is a beautiful hotel and the staff are amazing, helpful and so accommodating to whatever you need. The rooftop rooms are highly recommended as they have the most amazing views from the balcony. Breakfast is delicious with a choice of cooked and continental. A very enjoyable family break. Highly recommended.

Belmont Llandudno is a brand-new boutique hotel located on the Promenade in this magnificent North Wales resort. The hotel offers chic, stylish bedrooms - many with views across the Llandudno Bay. Check-in, relax, indulge, escape.
Stayed for two nights and would highly recommend. We had a sea view room on the 3rd floor (they have an elevator) which was immaculate and had lots of lovely touches - such as eye mask and ear plugs in case of seagulls. We asked for our room not to be cleaned but we were left a note under the door to confirm and if we required anything just to contact reception. Breakfast was very good with great selection. The restaurant was closed when we visited but we were offered a table setting up if we wanted to bring back a takeaway. Would highly recommend and stay again.

Where do I start From the second you get here it's clear how much the staff take pride in where they work We stayed for 2 nights in the most amazing comfy room with a gorgeous sea view, and we were just across the road from the pier The room was spotlessly clean and there was plenty of tea coffee milk etc for you and it was clear how to get more if needed. The beds were so comfy and again sheets etc spotlessly clean The staff here are amazing they can't do enough for you and it's obvious that they all get on so well as the atmosphere they make makes you feel comfortable and the whole place feel pleasant The food oh wow the food amazing isn't a good enough word. The breakfast plenty of choice and all so delicious even the toast We ate in the restaurant 1 night I wish we had both nights again plenty of choice all came out well presented and hot and the taste I cannot describe I honestly think its the nicest food I've eaten when dining out ever Noone can explain how beautiful or how amazing your stay here is the words don't seem enough you have to experience it for yourself and I highly recommend you do you won't be disappointed The only thing I'd change is our time here went far to fast Again I cant say enough how much I highly recommend this hotel I won't stay anywhere else now and will definitely be back again at least once more this year Thank you too all the staff for making our stay so amazing Love liz and sue (Room 7)

I can see we are in the minority but this hotel wasn’t for us. Maybe we are just not the clientele it caters for? Most of the hotel looks the part but our room was a let down especially for the price of it. Very small and stuffy, at the back of the hotel with a view of a roof. I’m not sure if someone forgot to clean our bathroom as there was a selection of different coloured hairs in the bath and on the tiled wall, a half used soap and the toilet bowl was dirty upon arrival- this was thankfully cleaned up the second day. There was evening entertainment each night until around 11pm. Bingo and then a cabaret style singer. You had to listen to this whether you liked it or not. We could hear it word for word in our room. After long days out on our feet and the weather outside not being great in the evening for us to sit out, we wanted quiet evenings in our room but that wasn’t an option until gone 11pm. We only ate in the restaurant for our breakfast once. We decided to pass on the second morning. Didn’t really enjoy it. There was really nothing on the menu we fancied. We considered dining in there of an evening but there was literally nothing for my daughter to eat and she’s not a fussy eater. If you allow children in the hotel could you not cater to them with some child friendly options? I asked about room service one evening and was met with a shocked face. What hotel in this day and age doesn’t offer room service? Lovely areas to sit down stairs and outside. Outside also has heat lamps. All the staff were lovely. The restaurant staff especially. This is obviously a very popular hotel but as I say it’s not for us and certainly not worth the money I paid. £162 a night!! No thank you! We won’t be back.

Waiter service was exemplary, forgot my glasses/case and the lovely waiter brought it to me immediately - surroundings so elegant and great views of the promenade and sea. Would definitely visit this hotel again, before or at Christmas, perhaps staying overnight.

The Merrion Hotel is perfectly situated on the promenade in Llandudno; this classic Victorian seaside resort has great beaches and lots of attractions including superb walking in Snowdonia. The hotel has been owned and run by the Bream family for three generations, we offer superb food locally sourced where possible and friendly service. The hotel offers newly refurbished rooms all en-suite with flat screen TVs, a car park and disabled access.
My wife and I spent two days here in June. Good Points: Prime location Lovely Staff Outstanding Breakfast. Chefs will cook your eggs to order! Lovely restaurant with lovely food (Highly recommended) Nice bar area to relax in Evening Entertainment Bad Points: Loose toilet roll holder Toilet that did not flush adequately Creaking floorboards in Hotel room were horrendous! Mattress to bed was uneven, with one side significantly lower than the other. Two beds pushed together. Awful pillows Outdated decor in parts of the hotel We paid a premium price for our stay and feel that the majority of the bad points listed above impacted on our stay and indicative of a lack of attention to detail for a Hotel of this size!

Built in the imposing Victorian style of the resort’s seafront, this handsome hotel boasts stunning views over the Irish Sea. Not only does it offer comfortable furnishings, friendly service and a swimming pool perfect for active moments, but also an ideal setting in the centre of the promenade, within easy walking distance of the town’s plentiful tourist attractions. Lazy days can be spent on the beach or pier, shopping for souvenirs, visiting the Alice in Wonderland Centre or taking a tram ride up The Great Orme, whilst numerous sporting pursuits are on offer locally. There is limited parking in the guest car park located behind the building but street parking is usually available nearby. For a break away discovering the very essence of North Wales - a region renowned for its beautiful coastline, Celtic heritage and the grandeur of Snowdonia - you could not be better placed than in Llandudno, at the Marine Hotel.
Hotel looked like it needed some attention on the outside, and certainly did on the inside. Looked tired and unappealing. Our room was at the rear of the hotel. Poor fitting door. Carpet looked dirty and worn. Walls showed signs of water damage amd needed a good coat of paint. Dusty netting at windows. Holes in the walls. Bathroom had no privacy glass- just a second shower curtain to pull accross. Bath panel needed replacing - had sharp edges sticking out. All on all a very poor standard of room for the cost! The whole place felt grubby. To top it all the shower didn't work either ! Our issues were raised with staff on the reception desk who appeared less than interested and offered no apology. We will not be returning and certainly wouldn't recommend to anyone we know. I’d score the place 4/10 at a push ! ?
