Lisbon is a dreamy destination for any traveler. The Portuguese capital's cultural and artistic diversity, its exhilarating and varied nightlife, the breathtaking viewpoints and its proximity to some of the most spectacular beaches and coastlines make it a top destination in the world. Lisbon offers VIP treatment for a fraction of the cost of most other major European cities. A secular city with plenty of history and traditions to offer, Lisbon also has a great variety of restaurants, bars, cafes, parks and vistas to relax and enjoy the city like a true local.

Comfortable hotel, good breakfast, free parking, good price. Good option if you decide to stay outside Lisbon center (which means at least 20 min. ride to get there). Pretty close to Sintra, which you can reach with Uber.

Built in 1892, the hotel has maintained its characteristic romanticism from the "Belle Epoque" and now revived by the discerning touch of renowned decorators. The Palace is a jewel among Portuguese hotels, combining regal and elegant architecture with modern comfort and personalized service. Whether resting in your room or socializing in one of the common areas, you'll find the balance perfect. All 82 rooms have just been completely renovated and elegantly furnished in a classic style.
We stayed at the Avenida Palace earlier this week and will return next week as well. I have stayed in many hotels, but this hotel absolutely has the friendliest staff of all. After being in Paris for week where many people are courteous, but not necessarily overly-friendly, our arrival at this hotel in Lisbon was such a treat. The people at reception, the concierge, the bell persons, the breakfast room, etc. all deserve lots of credit! The hotel is centrally located, has beautiful common rooms (actually, quite splashy), large, fancy breakfast room with amazing buffet, and up-to-date guest rooms ( a bit old-fashioned, but I'm good with that). I can't recommend this hotel highly enough, and look forward to returning next week!

Located next to the riverside area, in one of the prime areas of the Lisbon Center and very close to the cosmopolitan Bairro Alto and Chiado, Corpo Santo Lisbon Historical Hotel has 75 rooms, including 8 suites. The Corpo Santo Hotel is a 5-star superior hotel that offers excellent service in a refined but comfortable environment, where the old and historical combine with the modern and cosmopolitan. On the floor -1 of the hotel you will find a museum nucleus with high historical value, full of ancestral pieces found in the reconstruction of the building, properly identified and where stands out a part of the Fernandina Wall, dated of the XIV century The Hotel is 2 steps from the Tagus River, the Praça do Comercio, the Rossio and Avenida da Liberdade where you will find the main shops, restaurants, bars, theaters and museums of the city. The structure of the building, typical of Baixa Pombalina gives the units different dimensions, characteristics and views.

The Vincci Liberade, the chain's second hotel, can be found in Portugal's capital and largest city, the always magical Lisbon. This four star hotel is located at 16, Rua Rosa Araujo, a mere 80 metres from the prestigious Avenida da Liberdade, an elegant central part of the city, near different places of cultural interest, such as Estufa Fria, the Botanical Garden, and the National Natural History
This hotel is in a really nice area of central Lisbon, but just one street off the main strip so it's not too noisy. The hotel itself was very modern, clean and tidy. The rooms were spacious with nice views. Two big standouts were the fact that the staff spoke fluently many languages, English, French and Spanish were all observed (and of course Portuguese). The second standout was the breakfast, which was a perfect combination of hot cooked items cooked to order (all your traditional English bacon etc. but also eggs however you wanted them), a really good hot drink machine that offered some delicious types of coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, a huge choice of fresh fruit (including strawberries), ham and cheeses (both the English sandwich type, and the Spanish type: jamòn serrano and manchego), yoghurts, protein shakes and last but not least, a full on bakery section with all freshly made types of bread (sandwich/toast, baguettes, bagels and rolls), as well as pastries, croissants and delicious doughnuts! All freshly baked. In conclusion, by far the best breakfast I have had in a hotel!

Hotel Mundial, managed by PHC Hotels, is one of the most iconic hotels of Lisbon. Located right in the city center, the hotel boasts breathtaking views over Lisbon downtown neighbourhoods and its famous ROOFTOP BAR offers its guests amazing sunsets whilst enjoying a cocktail. Settled just a couple of steps away from Rossio Square and with some of its 349 rooms boasting amazing views over Saint George’s Castle, this timeless city hotel embraces modernity whilst celebrating its own prestigious heritage. Hotel Mundial is near by the main entertainment and shopping sites and it's the ideal venue to "feel the city" and explore the authenticity of the Portuguese capital. From the hotel, one can easily get to the most emblematic neighborhoods of the city: Alfama, Bairro Alto and even Princípe Real and the famous Tram 28, is just outside its door.
Visited the roof terrace cocktail bar. Great views of the city and comfy outaide seating. Lots of choice of drinks and friendly staff. Reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend for an early evening drink. It does get busy so be prepared to queue for a few minutes at times.

Comfy rooms, great staff, great central location for dining and walking in Lisbon. And don’t miss the hotel restaurant—it’s much better than the big touristy restaurants next to it, and Olga and the other professional staff will take good care of you ??

The only surviving original Art Deco hotel in Lisbon, with a touch of modern whimsical nuances, this small hotel is unique. Dating from 1944 and designed by the famous Portuguese modernist architect Cassiano Branco, it retains its original soul. Meticulously recuperated , it was combined with nowadays technologies in order to offer all actual comfort. The Hotel Britania is perfectly located in a quiet street just off the exclusive Avenida da Liberdade.
We stayed for 4 nights in June. What an amazing hotel! We booked a standard room….The fabulous spacious room had a superbly comfortable 7ft wide bed!! All the period furniture is stunning, air conditioning is excellent. Milton Brown toiletries in a bathroom with the most powerful shower. A decanter of port that is topped up daily and a great breakfast selection available up to midday, I could go on. The hotel location on the Avenue Liberdade is a pleasant 10 min stroll from the main square. The staff are courteous, friendly and always helpful….would I go back….without hesitation.

H10 Duque de Loulé is an exclusive and charming hotel, located in one of central Lisbon's historical buildings. Carefully renovated and decorated by the prestigious interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, it maintains its beautiful façade, a typical example of 18th-century architecture, and its interior design blends traditional Portuguese features with highly modern and functional facilities. This four star superior hotel has 89 rooms, the à la carte Azul e Branco restaurant, the Equestre library bar, a meeting room with capacity for 80 people and the Limão Chill-Out Terrace that offers spectacular views across Lisbon and the Tagus estuary.
We stayed at this H10 property from May 26 - 29, 2022 as the final leg of our Spain/Portugal Trip. This hotel was fantastic. The hotel atheistic is absolutely beautiful. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast alone makes this hotel worth it - we could not believe the variety. The hotel is conveniently located to the metro and we were able to explore the city easily because of that. The rooftop bar is a must see! Because of the stay at this hotel, we will seek out other H10 hotels in the future.
