Ideally located 4 minutes from Chamonix at Les Houches, the hotel breaks the conventions of traditional hotel business: 148 guest rooms for 2 to 12 people, seminar rooms, restaurants, games... The RockyPop fosters the "joy of togetherness" at amazingly low prices. With its relaxed and fun atmosphere, the RockyPop hotel is the ideal place for families, couples, friends and business travellers.
Staff here really are going through the motions. Maybe they're looking forward to the end of the season but they could not have cared less. The hotel side was OK although the staff were very uninterested in us. The restaurant however, oh my goodness! The staff were rude, disinterested and completely unprofessional. The food was even worse as it was barely edible and was cold and stale. This place needs to be avoided.

Rooms at Hotel Les Campanules offer a flat screen TV providing exceptional comfort and convenience, and guests can go online with free wifi. The staff at Hotel Les Campanules looks forward to serving you during your upcoming visit.
What makes this hotel really special is the common areas. Not only does it have amazing views on the Alps mountains, but it is also organized with a myriad of small, cozy saloons, in which you can have a drink, play a games, watch TV or play pool that makes you feel like you are in your own little mountain chalet, and not in a hotel. The hotel staff is also very amenable, and will get all the way to accommodate you (for example, I had to stay for work over lunch, and, even though they did not offer lunch, they still made me a sandwich, so that I didn't have to go out and come back). The rooms are nice and functional, even though it would be nicer to have the shower separated by a wall, so that you don't feel like you are showering in the middle of the room. The hotel has a great selection of appetizers and drinks, and also offer dinner - which i would recommend as to not have to drive on snowy mountains roads at night. The restaurant menu was good and varied. They also offer transportation to the main ski slopes in the morning and evening, which is useful as you don't have to drive. The only thing to note is that this hotel is not the place to stay if you are planning to work remotely as the wifi connection is quite spotty and will not allow you to conduct meetings or phone calls.

Excellent hotel. Fabulous food, small staff team very knowledgeable and helpful . Transfers to and from ski lifts work well, also on bus route with bus stop a short walk away. Room had balcony, was clean and warm with comfortable beds. Would definitely return.

The hotel is located at about 5 km of Chamonix, at 500 m of the ski lifts, and near of the toboggans run and the skating rink.Mountain decoration, where the timber is not missing, exceptional panoramic views on the Mont-Blanc.At the restaurant << le Saint-Antoine >> (ou at the Saint-Antoine), you will discover, in a family atmosphere, a traditional cooking and regional specialities.
Really cosy base for our “mums’ long weekend ski trip”. The Bus stop to the slopes is right outside the hotel and the “Perf ski hire shop” (Bertrand a really nice guy) is a 2 minute walk away. The bedrooms were clean with comfy beds and modern bathrooms with hot, powerful showers. And to top it all off there’s a mini spa which turned out to be an essential part of the day... catching up and laughing over the day’s events over a glass of fizz in the jacuzzi. Couldn’t ask for more. ☺️?. Great place and welcoming atmosphere ....Thanks Corinne!

Located less than 10 minutes from the centre of Chamonix, Les Granges d’en Haut offers luxury chalets for up to 8 people with free Wi-Fi, a private sauna and beautiful views on the Mont Blanc range. Our guests have a free access to the 500 sqm SPA with indoor swimming pool, sauna, hamman and a hot tub. Situated in a very quiet area of Les Houches, the chalet also provides an underground parking.
For the restaurant: expecting a much better dinner in a hotel of this class. Except the soups, first dishes and the lamb (proposed menu) the other main courses was bellow an acceptable level. Hamburgers: we have tasted a much better in much cheaper taverns. Onglets (Angus!): The worst I have ever had. The staff unexperienced to handle the situation. Following my complaints, just took the plate and without asking or say anything, 15' later brought another plate, more or less same quality. To keep story short, the only positive point, this dish was taken out from our bill !! ...but our dinner was spoiled...

We stayed there for 1 night with two kids, 7 and 9 yo, in August 2021. Upsides: excellent value for money, restaurant is very good, decoration is very nice, hotel is very well equiped (pool, sauna, hamman, playing room for kids, mini cinema, video games for kids while waiting for the meal), managers are very friendly and helpful, terrace has a great view on the mountains, breakfast is very good Downsides: hotel is very close to the highway so you can hear and smell it

Fantastic hotel to stay in whilst skiing in Les Houches with my daughter for 4 nights. The location is great, right on the bus route and 2 doors down from ski hire shop. The nursery slope for practise is directly opposite. The staff are friendly and the hotel is immaculate, I would definitely recommend and hopefully return later in the year. Thank you Florent and family/ staff.

Given how much the hotel was (I booked a single room), there is very little to complain about, and I was really impressed and satisfied by the experience. My room was a decent size, clean and I also found the bed comfortable. It may be a little dated, but the main thing is that everything was clean. Everything worked properly, although the shower does take a bit of finessing to get the right temperature. I opted for breakfast in the morning, and it was a perfectly decent continental breakfast. You could always walk down the road and get breakfast from the bakery at the bottom of the ski lift, but its a much of a muchness. The location is great - its a few minutes walk to the slopes so you don't have to take a bus. There is ski storage at the hotel, but I would suggest renting a locker where the gondolas are. It is a quiet area, so at night it is very peaceful, but the disadvantage is that you need to get a bus (or drive) into town for more restaurants. I expect if you get one of the apartments, you might cook at night. The host (hotel manager) was friendly and understanding and made me feel very welcome. I think my only (very) minor comments are that the room could have done with a bit more of a thorough vacuum. Despite that it might be regarded as a bit basic, I would suggest checking this hotel out.

A charming traditional Savoy style chalet in the mountain resort of Les Houches in the Chamonix Valley and at the foot of Mont Blanc. The chalet is owned and run by Oliver Ensor, an "International Mountain Leader" and his wife Elaine whose "table d'hote' dinners and home made cakes are a legend. The Chalet has a total of 7 rooms all with small private bathrooms. You will love the spectacular mountain views from the chalet. There is fantastic hiking and snowshoeing right on the doorstep. The chalet is just 8 minutes walk from the Chamonix - Les Houches ski slopes, the bus stop and the Les Houches main street. In winter you'll have free use of the Les Houches skating rink. All year round you'll have free use of the busses and trains throughout the Chamonix Valley. The Tour du Mont Blanc and GR5 trails are just a few minutes walk from the chalet. PLEASE NOTE: This is a mountain chalet and not a hotel. Please do not expect hotel style facilities. There are 7 tastefully decorated bedrooms all with private facilities which can be used as double, twin or single. But the bathrooms are mostly small and the bedrooms won't always be as big as some hotel rooms. There is also a one bedroom apartment adjacent to the chalet. But you'll soon understand why a Daily Mirror journalist reviewed the chalet as "our favourite stay" and why 80% of our guests are repeats. You'll love the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Facilities include hot tub - wifi - computer for guest use, visiting physio can be arranged, drying room and ski room with work bench. The chalet claims to have the finest views from any hot tub in the universe! There is a lounge with comfortable leather arm chairs and a tea room with fireplace. Meals are served in the rustic dining room and when warm enough in summer on the outside terrace literally at the foot of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in the European Alps.
Chalet Savoy is a traditional looking ski chalet in the picturesque town of Morzine. It is ideally located with the two main lifts being a short walk away. We were greeted on arrival by the Chalet Manager Ellie and Chef Dan. It was a warm welcome that lasted throughout our stay. The Chalet was clean and well kept. Our room was delightful with a wonderful view of the mountain scenery. The food prepared by Dan throughout the week was second to none. Even afternoon tea was something to look forward to. Ellie and Chalet hostess Carla were always on hand to offer information about the area and gave some great tips on places to visit. We not only had a fantastic holiday but felt that we had made new friends too. We would love to return to Chalet Savoy.
