Reviewed By mickyo1962I travelled with my wife and another couple from the uk in two cars over two days and were very much looking forward to the stay in Hotel Florida Lerici which we had booked over 6 months prior. We were informed by email two hours before we were due to arrive at the hotel that they had cancelled our reservation and sold it to another guest. The agreement we had through our booking.com agreement was to pay at the property, i had also informed them that we were travelling by car, and told them that we were not going to reach the hotel till after 6pm. Ramona was the lady we had correspondence with before the stay in regards to car parking etc, and it was Ramona who cancelled the booking. She claimed she had tried to charge the rooms on the credit card details she had (even thought the agreement was to pay on arrival) , and could not because i had been issued a new card. When i spoke to Ramona once id seen cancellation email, she was totally unsympathetic with the position she had put us in, (no accommodation and trips booked) and explained there was nothing she could do as the hotel was full. I then had to spend an hour frantically looking for an alternative property that had rooms to book, this after nearly a 1000 miles driving in baking heat. I did receive a call from the reception Manager while en route to different hotel, offering an apology and help finding alternative accommodation, both of which were pretty useless under the circumstances. A crappy start to out holiday 100% caused by Ramona and Hotel Florida Lerici.

Beautifull hotel with a panoramic view on the Golfo di Poeti
Reviewed By ive sExcellent hotel. The junior suites are refurnished. They offer a beautifull view on the Golfo di Poeti. Unfortunately the Tesla charger dis not work, but luckely there was Porsche charger to help us out. The breakfast was goed. The shuttle service is excellent. We thank Luigi and Matteo for the excellent service at the front desk

Hotel Located in the historic center of Lerici. The view is wonderful and you will be immersed in the silence and tranquility. We report the presence of many steps to reach the hotel from the parking and other steps from the hotel to the city center!
Very fine hotel
Reviewed By higonnetOn a hill in a park overlooking Lerici the hotel is fine, the staff helpful. Has 2 (!!) EV charging stations and welcomes dogs. Hotel is quite fond of an admittedly extravagant breakfast buffet. Only negative is that to reach the entrance at the lower level of the hotel one has to go down about four floors of steps (and back up when leaving)...

Reviewed By Wonderful-creationsThis is a boutique hotel with lovely rooms and fabulous views. We had booked at the last minute online and didn’t know what to expect. When we got there we saw just one floor and were wondering how the rooms would be. We were in for a surprise. We had a fantastic room with a fabulous view. Once you opened the curtains, the view of the water was superb. We could open a door and go out to the deck which had lounge chairs. I sat there for a long time taking in the view of the beautiful city of Lerici. On one side you could see the sunrise and the sunset on the other. It was so comfy that I had to force myself to go out and explore the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they even gave us their own parking spot close to the hotel. They are well versed on the various ways in which you can explore the Cinque Terra area and patiently explained it all to us. There is a cafe cum bar in the basement overlooking the water , but we decided to go out and have dinner at a different place. Next time I would like to spend a few days at the hotel and enjoy going around the area. Definitely a good option to stay.

Nice location but not enough
Reviewed By annasZ5200ZFHotel with a very good location right on the beach. There is a reserved area on the beach for hotel guests. The room with balcony and sea view is pleasant.The staff is very kind and helpful, but all this does not compensate for the fact that the hotel has some problems with humidity which gives an unpleasant smell and we found a colony of ants in the bathroom. The staff reacted saying that this is the problem they have only on the first floor and it is common to all hotels in the area. I found this a poor excuse especially considering the price charged per night. I will not go back!

Uno a prezzo di tre: sporco, multa e stress
Reviewed By Анна ПPer la scelta del mio soggiorno a Lerici, ho optato per questa casa con il parcheggio privato incluso. Poco prima di arrivare in città, ho telefonato alla signora che si occupa della gestione della casa per chiederle delle informazioni sulla zona ZTL e sul parcheggio, la quale mi ha risposto che non dovevo preoccuparmi di nulla e che loro avrebbero fornito la targa del mio veicolo al comune per ottenerne l'autorizzazione. Dopo due mesi, mi è arrivata la multa dal comune di Lerici nella quale mi veniva richiesto di pagare una multa piuttosto salata. A questo punto chiamò immediatamente la signora per chiederle delle spiegazioni, la quale mi risponde che devo inviarle la foto della multa e che lei provvederà a risolvere il desguido. Purtroppo dopo un anno, il comune di Lerici mi rinvia la multa con l'importo ancora maggiore. Questa volta la signora non risponde più al telefono e addirittura blocca il mio numero di telefono. A questo punto, ho optato di contattare il proprietario della struttura E.P. (avvocato di mestiere) per spiegarle il problema, il quale pero mi risponde dicendomi che lui non si occupa di questa cosa e che devo arrangiarmi. Conclusione: ho pagato la casa (poco curata e sporca) tre volte tanto ed in più ho speso i nervi e il tempo per risolvere il problema.

Reviewed By DarranT23Hotel was in a TOP Location,direkt on water front.The view from our balcony was fantastic to wake up to in the mornings. Parking is a bit of an issue but is ok. The reception staff are extremely friendly&very helpful. There are plenty of restaurants close by to have dinner at night? The breakfast buffet is ok but nothing special. Unfortunately there are renovations at this moment but we were lucky being there on a Saturday&Sunday so there wasn’t any work being done. The only negative to our stay was on the Saturday night there was an 18th birthday party in hotel&the young people stayed on the street outside the hotel till the early hours making much noise which was not good??
