At the heart of the small town of Le Pouliguen, Hotel Cosy Casa welcomes you for a charming stay in the Bay of La Baule. Welcoming and cosy, our rooms are available for your convenience: double, triple or family room with bathroom and toilet. The breakfasts can be served either in our lounge or on the terrace.
We really enjoyed our stay here, the room was bright, very clean,& tastefully decorated. The couple that owns/runs the property both speak english, (I dont expect them to when traveling, but it sure is a relief when they do!) they were both very nice, and made a great dinner recommendation for us, and also pointed out the free parking nearby. And a lovely continental breakfast in the morning. Great value for the cost!! It would have been VERY quiet too except with the heat we had to have the window open for air, the hotel was peaceful, but there was a little street noise. All in all a great stay.

The Hotel/café “Le Mondés” is located in a car free zone, 50 metres from the port and 5 minutes away from the “Pouliguen” and “La Baule” beach. Located at the heart of Le Pouliguen in a classic pedestrian street of the city centre, “Le Mondés” will offer you a relaxing environment next to all the facilities (shops, outdoor market, covered market, cinema, expositions…). You will dawdle through the lanes and discover the city area.

Stayed here in June 2020 a couple weeks after lockdown reduced in France. Nice room with balcony. Comfortable bed, air con etc. Dining room still closed so breakfast is offered in your room. We decided to have breakfast in town. The river promenade along the marina to town and the beach is close. Along the promenade wide choice of restaurants and bars. Nice town with a small very fresh produce market on the Wednesday we were there. Please we visited.

A luxury recently refurbished residenceIn the centre of a garden with hundred-year-old pine trees Fitted with a relaxation area and outdoor pool with solarium
Lovely location, close to the beach and supermarkets. Nice swimming pool and big parking space for cars. Rooms were clean and spacious. The only drawback - there are too many doors in the building which you need to open, that is not convenient and hinders movement.

The hotel is owned and run by an extremely young couple and they have furnished and decorated it as any young couple would: cheap and cheerful. They told me that they bought the hotel a year ago and that it was very run-down so they have given it a lick of paint and are re-doing it bit by bit. The hotel has three floors, no lift and a narrow staircase so if you have a large suitcase I recommend you ask for one of the ground-floor rooms. As there are only the two of them running the hotel, it is closed for the afternoons and the front door shuts at 8:30 p.m. so you must warn them if you will be arriving later than this. We had the family room under the eaves which looks out onto the market place (closed for renovation when we were there but apparently to re-open at the end of May 2012. It is a daily market so I imagine that if it is hot and you sleep with the window open you'd be woken up fairly early!) The room was quaint but comfortable. The bathroom was OK (it will be renovated, the owners told me). We were missing a double plug in the room, there was nowhere to hang wet towels, one day there was no toilet paper...but all we did was ask and these things were there when we returned. There were fresh croissants for breakfast every day, a choice of cereals, fruit, cheese, juices, jams. Nice start to the day. You eat in the small reception area and I found the television an unwelcome distraction...but then we were visiting in the middle of the presidential election and the news channel was on so perhaps this was exceptional. The hotel is very central and in a pedestrian zone so you cannot park and unload luggage in front of the hotel. This (slight) inconvenience is made up by the fact that you are just seconds' walk from the picturesque port and less than 5 minutes' walk from the beach. There is also a wide choice of restaurants to pick from (there is none in the hotel). The hotel I'm sure will improve as the owners gain in experience and complete the renovations they are undertaking. Good luck to them. We will return in a couple of years or so and see how they have got on! We found it reasonably good value for money.

We loved staying here. Karina ans Stephan couldn't have been more welcoming. Our room was very comfortable and I enjoyed sitting outside on the private balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the bath was small but well designed. My only regret was we had only one night here! We would visit again in a New York Minute!!

We stayed here for four nights while touring the region in our MX5 in very hot weather. It was in the middle of our hectic holiday.... our relaxing point. We had a big bedroom with a balcony overlooking the sea. It had a lovely bathroom and a dressing room with lots of storage space. We also had use of a kitchen and fridge which was an added bonus we didn't expect. The swimming pool is set in a gorgeous garden and we used it every day. There is also a lovely beach 10 minutes walk up the road, past a rocky cove, if you fancy a swim in the sea, which we enjoyed. The breakfast is delicious with fresh fruit/cheesemeats and always a different special of the day such as waffles. I must mention the amazing dippy boiled eggs which were cooked to perfection every morning. Thank you for letting us park our car on your drive instead of outside your gates. We really enjoyed staying at your beautiful home Thank you for your excellent hospitality.

You should come and relax in a house facing "the wood", at 200 meters to the beach and within easy reach of the port. This house is in Le Pouliguen town center, which has kept its "britanny soul" and very close of La Baule. Enjoy long walks on the fine sand of the bay, on the "côte sauvage" among rocky creeks or along the salt-marsh.
