From the balconied Reception Lounge, to the open fire you instinctively know that Lancaster House is a place to savour the good things in life, such as excellent cuisine from The Foodworks Restaurant, or a drink in the courtyard of The Sandeman's Bar. This relaxed elegance is also reflected in each of the 99 rooms.
Stayed here for a wedding. I rang up as soon as the rooms was released to book for the wedding day and asked for a suite. I was told on the phone I would have a suite in the new section of the building I had a look at the pictures and thought this would be perfect for me as I was bringing my little boy with us also and the rooms section off through a door. Upon arriving and checking in we was given a room which was the size of a normal room not a suite! We had paid extra money and was told we would be in the new suites to then be put into this normal sized room where it does not section off!!! This ruined our night as we had to go bed at the same time as our little boy due to it disturbing him if we stayed up in the room. If we would have got the room we booked this would not have been an issue!! I spoke to the lady at reception at the time and she really did not care and just said ‘don’t know what you want me to do there’s no where I can move you too now’. Just be careful when booking that you get what you are promised!!!

A great property in the historic centre of Lancaster situated next to the Lancaster canal and footsteps away from the city centre and historical landmarks. Enjoy a delicious all-day dining menu full of locally sourced and freshly prepared home favourites; wholesome and hearty. Head upstairs for guest rooms cosy, stylish and filled with plenty of comforts. From cosy corners to large tables for family get-togethers, there’s space for everyone on the colder days. In the summer enjoy sipping award-winning cask ales, fine wines and other great choices in the secluded courtyard. Part of The House of Daniel Thwaites collection.
I hate staying in hotels alone, this is a lovely place with great rooms and the food I had was inventive and superb. The best thing however, especially when staying alone is to feel comfortable and relaxed. The staff hear are a bit special, very helpful and nice but go the extra mile with there friendliness.

In a super spot for your stay near the red rose city, the Premier Inn Hotel Lancaster makes it easy to shoot straight into the city or branch out to the coast and country. You'll have a huge variety of sights to see from the impressive Lancaster Castle and Ashton Memorial, to the seaside delights of Morecambe and the rugged beauty of the Lake District. And, if it's the right time of year, head for the famous Isle of Man TT races via the nearby ferry. Then after a busy day, rest up in our tasty on-site restaurant and drift off in our extra-comfy Hypnos beds.
This hotel was the perfect place to stay as I attended an event in Lancaster. It was half the price of other hotels in the area, and free partking was a bonus You know what you get at a Premier In.. it was clean and comfortable. There was some noise from the busy road outside but thats because I opened the window... ! The staff were so friendly, and went out of their way to be helpful . It made all the difference to my stay.

Nice hotel with good facilities (gym, spa, pool). Room was ok (bit stain marks) but comfy bed. AC was not too great, requested for a table fan but were told hotel doesn’t provide one! Breakfast was again ok, biggest let down was no coffee for 2 days as coffee machine broke down. Manager didn’t seem to care much and told he was aware it was broken! Not sure how a hotel can service breakfast with no coffees for guest! Had dinner one evening and it was great (pricey but delicious). All other staff I interacted were great!

We stayed in the Ashton suite which had a mezzanine floor & great views of the river. From the moment we arrived the entire team were so attentive & so welcoming. The suite was decadence at it's best. From the crushed velvet furniture to the huge free-standing bath, the experience was just superb. We had the surf & turf for dinner. The lobster & steak was delicious (as was the champers)! We simply cannot rate this whole experience highly enough. Rob and his entire team were superb. We have booked again for later this year. Quite Simply French?..... Quite Simply The Best! Many thanks, Ant & Lou xx

A bustling gastro pub located in Lancaster City Centre offering 12 contemporary bedrooms. All of our beautiful rooms boast an en-suite Italian marble wet-room and a flat-screen smart TV. The contemporary rooms also feature a hairdryer, bathrobes and complimentary toiletries and delicious locally sourced breakfast.
Room 3 on the first floor was very large, with an attractive view over Dalton Square, a first-class en-suite / shower room, and a double bed wide enough to sleep sideways (if so inclined !). The fish, chips and mushy peas in the evening were perfectly cooked and sensible portions. Above all, ALL the staff were cheerful as well as helpful (including with variations to the menu) !

On the ground floor is the award winning bar with an eclectic collection of beers, wines and spirits from around the world. Please call ahead for directions and parking recommendations.
Not the first time we have stayed at The Sun. We have had both ‘cosy’ double bedroom and in the past the luxury double bedroom - none of the rooms can be faulted. Bar has a great selection with something for everybody. We didn’t have dinner but did have breakfast (Full English for me, Garden Breakfast for wife) - both were first rate. Staff friendly and courteous with nothing too much trouble. Will be back !

Stayed here for 1 night room was really lovely not in the main hotel but in the outbuilding just of the courtyard really clean aswell no cooked breakfast but there where cereals and milk and juice so you could just help yourself the reason I've not give it 5 stars is because you could hear everything as we found out from the guests in the room next to us who decided to play music full blast and shout and scream at 3am in the morning it's completely put us of going back ?

Welcome to Crows Hotel, "an excellent base for exploring Lancaster and the beautiful nearby countryside." The perfect stay - Crows Hotel is everything a city centre hotel should be. Clean, cosy and quiet, our recently refurbished rooms provide everything you need for a perfect night's sleep in the heart of the city, the Crows Hotel is affordable and unbeatable. We have 9 comfortable rooms all of good size, all rooms are modern, airy and light with contemporary finishing touches that give you everything you expect and more. The rooms on the top floor are offset by original open beams.
Our second stay here at Crows was probably even better then the first. Before we arrived we had first rate communication from Dale with late changes to our room, and we met him as we arrived and he was very friendly and helpful. The room was great and the location of Crows suits us perfectly both for our walk from the station but, also, for being central in Lancaster. We really appreciate having your own door to the outside world with no common areas, particularly in these Covid times.
