Reviewed By ghyubiopI stayed 2 nights in the Hoang Van hotel. The hotel was quiet in a quiet street. The room was clean, spacious, with airco. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They did not speak English well, but made the effort and had the patience to try and communicate in English. In the end, it always worked out. Kontum is totally off the beaten track, so this was part of the charm. They ordered a taxi for me, which was cheaper than the one I had taken at the airport according to the standard (or maximum?) rate. Good value, trustworthy.

Reviewed By geoffj1983Stayed here 1 night. Booked 1 bed in a 8 bed dorm I think it was. I had the room to myself though, so it was like a private room. Very clean and nice room /beds. Had a small few breakfast. The staff was very polite and helpful. Only thing I would change would be to post the wifi password somewhere in the lobby and/or rooms. I could have asked but it was late and I didn't want to bother the family that I think runs it. Good place to stay though! ?

Simple, but Awesome
Reviewed By AusericanesianHave stayed here, at a friend's recommendation, a few times now. A little removed from downtown the Kon Klor Hotel (KKH) is set in mature gardens, close to the eponymous suspension bridge. Rooms are well priced & as mentioned, set in a lovely garden. Simple, but functional KKH is a little suburban oasis.

Reviewed By logo369The first night I was given a small room. Then I was moved to a larger room which was quite nice. The bed was a king size and very comfortable. TV and fridge with a large closet. To be honest, I don’t get up early enough to have breakfast and I can not recall if there was breakfast. I am sure there was. There is a garage for cars and space for motor bikes. The location is great, centrally located, easy to get around by foot with lots of cafes and restaurants around.. The family that owns it is super. Ready to accommodate my needs. I was taken to see the sights by them, I really enjoyed it considering it was Tet and most everything was closed. I will be back to Kon Tum this summer and will be staying with them.

Reviewed By Thainy TMainly backpackers with a motorbike came to sleep 1 or 2 nights so great to meet new people. I had the best family dinner ever (and a had a lot of them in vietnam). The lovely owners take care of you and also make tea and coffee after dinner. The rooms are big and the beds are super big!!

Reviewed By Shanna FThis hotel was easy to find and when we did we werent not disappointed. It is very pleasing on the eye. Large rooms, lovely staff, easily accessible and THE BEST BEDS in Vietnam! Mattresses like at home! Only stayed one night as we were on a tour at the time but no complaints from me!

We are a hospitality training center, hotel, bar and restaurant based in Kon Tum, Vietnam: we train young people from ethnic minorities for careers in the hospitality industry. "Hnam Chang Ngeh", meaning 'House of Hope' in Bahnar (the major ethnic minority in Kon Tum), is a development project by the NGO 'Poussieres De Vie'. It aims to provide high quality training for local young adults for them to develop a professional career within the hospitality industry. The training center offers hands-on training for the students with its on-site hotel. It is available for customers to book for hotel rooms, restaurant tables or to simply chill in the lounge bar. HOTEL: 10 unique rooms with their own design. We are an environment-friendly establishment so we do not provide single use items with plastic wrap (toothbrush, comb…) but we provide natural shampoo and shower gel. We do not provide flip-flop in rooms for hygiene purpose. BAR: A large selection of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks. RESTAURANT: A new menu composed of a reviewed international cuisine and local dishes. If you wish to spend an enjoyable time in Kon Tum and contribute at the same time to the education of its young people, Hnam Chang Ngeh will be your perfect stay!
Amazing place and lovely hosts in Kontum
Reviewed By JujuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuWe had a tremendous stay in this hotel: the room was very clean and bright, with a nice view. The hosts and the students are always ready to help with your visits and transportation organisation (where to rent bikes or to take the bus). The food is good! Location is convenient (10 minute walk to the cathedral, a lot of cafes nearby) It is a great pleasure to see the students get involved : such a beautiful project to support!

Reviewed By Shuddho GThis place was referred to me by a friend after knowing my requirements.Its located a bit away from Kon Tum town centre and is not exactly walking distance.However,it still do able for those inclined.Situated across the Dak Bla river it has a garden set out and pretty well maintained.A nice and refreshing stay in the midst of nature.
