Reviewed By tomera549First of all, Koh Phi Phi is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen, hands down. On top of that we got to enjoy it at SAii which is absolutely breathtaking. The staff is warm and pleasant, always with a smile. The pools are perfect, especially the “Fun pool” Marine center is one of the better ones I’ve seen in Thailand. Of all the places we got to see in Thailand, this is the one we will definitely be coming back to for the next time, with longer staying period. ❤️

And, I feel exactly the same…one of the best hotel/resorts I have stayed in ever. I still think about the breakfast buffet, it was unbelievably good! Waking up there those 8 mornings were magical. Making coffee and reading a book on our deck while the sun rises, then taking zoom meetings on the beach really eases you into your day. Have to mention the barefootness, was a real disappointment to wear shoes again after we left. Also loved the no plastic bottles thing, the staff, the spa, even the bugs…well, except the mosquitoes of course. ps. should mention the bugs were outside, not in our room.

Reviewed By mrsbrightside7This is a beautiful resort in a beautiful location, in my opinion the best beach on Phi Phi Island. The rooms are a little dated but so what, the beach, reef and location make up for it! There is a reef just off the beach where you can snorkel with many types of fish, sea slugs, urchins and reef sharks. Happy hour and the fire show is great. Also check out the restaurant at Paradise Pearl Resort at the other end of the beach, nice food and amazing lunch and sunset views. There is a cool jungle walk to Tonsai too, along lovely coves and beaches, this takes about 45 minutes.

We stayed 3 nights, 2 nights in a more private bungalow which had beautiful art, amazing views, super spacious with a great bathroom but no aircon, we managed with the fans though. We spent the last night in a larger condo style unit, with aircon, enormous shower room, but less private. The staff are great, the food at the restaurant was ok, and the little private beach was magnificent. Loads of gorgeous cats on the property, which they will hopefully get sterilised.

Phi Phi Banyan Villa locate only 5 minutes walks from Tonsai Pier. From the pier, just turn right down along the beach road. You will find a big banyan tree with the hotel reception on the left and on the right is the hotel's beach front restaurant Tonsai Seafood. Phi Phi Banyan Villa is a second hotel of Phi Phi Hotel Group. The hotel has just renovated and finished on November 2009. Bed room and bath room are clean and brand new Banyan Fitness Center is free of charge for the hotel guest. The fitness consist of work out machines, sauna room, stream room and yoga class which guest have to pay extra to join. Please note to use the fitness, a pair of proper sport shoes is needed or you have to rent one at the fitness. The hotel is 2 story building. Two room type are Banyan Wing Room and Garden Wing Room, wooden floor for Banyan Wing Rooms and tiled floor for Garden Wing Room. All rooms are with balcony facing the garden. Please note extra bed at this hotel is only a mattress on the floor.

Reviewed By Sunil2908A lovely hotel, just 4 mins walk from Tonsai Pier. We chose a garden facing balcony room, with view of the pool too. We were not really bothered by mosquitoes as we always kept the balcony windows as well as net partitions closed. The rooms were extremely silent with no noise from adjacent rooms. The Daikin split AC was also extremely efficient & silent. Breakfast was nice with an old lovely lady making excellent oval omlettes. Other stuff was also very good. We were surrounded by so many eateries that we were spoilt for choice. Would readily stay again.

Not the quality we hoped or expected
Reviewed By JameseShawWe visited as a couple at the end of May for 2 nights, staying in a Pool Access Villa. If you are a couple looking for a romantic little hideaway on the beachfront (which is what we thought we were getting based on the pictures) this place is not for you! The Villa itself has great potential, it’s a lovely design and a great space, overlooking the north facing bay of Phi Phi. Sadly, it’s right next to the hotel bar and another nightclub is less than 100m away on the beach - music from both can be heard clearly long into the night. Villa 09 (which was ours) is also right along the walkway and we were awoken at night several times by voices. Sadly, the level of cleanliness also left a lot to be desired. While we understand Thailand and Phi Phi are still recovering from COVID effects on tourism, and do not by any means expect everything to be spotless, on arrival we found a cigarette butt on the window ledge in the shower (neither of us smoke) and dirt from previous occupant’s shoes all over the entire apartment. The sinks, doors and mirrors also clearly hadn’t been touched at all. The most alarming part was the back door on to the patio / pool area that appeared to lock, but would actually still open with the lightest of efforts as the lock is faulty which left us very worried. The resort is not signposted well when walking through the town from the Pier and all of the outside walkways, while characteristic with palm leaves dangling down, are either not lit or very poorly lit at night which makes for an uncomfortable journey back to the room. Completely appreciate Phi Phi is increasingly a party island but given the way the resort is advertised and the price we paid, we expected a lot more.

Reviewed By indigobay1972This hotel is set in a beautiful part of the bay. We had a pool straight outside the room and amazing views across the bay. The room was large, although a bit shabby around the edges. Large bathroom and shower. Taps and shower head were a bit rusty but worked fine. Breakfast was plentiful for us, not much choice if you prefer anything but Thai options, but that didn't bother us. Staff were courteous, although not very engaging. The hotel is halal, so don't expect a bar, although there are plenty on the walk to town. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again due to the view. The place could do with a full refurbishment to bring it up to standard though.

The Resort has its own white sandy beach with magnificent views of the Andaman sea and the famous Phi Phi Lay Island. The 62 Rooms, Bungalows and Villas are set in lush tropical gardens. The facilities include a Spa, Gym, Cafe and the largest private swimming pool in the Ton Sai Bay area. Officially 2 star but looks like 4 star, especially the new rooms.

Got shop on site restaurant on beach, lovely swimming pool right on beach.. rooms fairly comfy.. they come collect your luggage from the pier. About 7 minuete walk from pier up and down hill, on un even streets. staff very friendly.. only negative bathroom bit open so mosquito can get in and through door to bathroom into your room. Pleasant stay
