Reviewed By nishantlokhandeStaff service is poor not attentive ,food was good in quality and taste but use to come after an hr whatever you order..they dont give proper information while booking and then all extra noms, bathroom was not good at all..we got our vacation spoiled booking here even owner Mr Kumar does not bother for our complaints and we had to leave a day before our checkout really had very very bad EXPERIENCE by paying them was not worth ..

Open spaces are neatly maintained with lot of greenery and very clean. This environment gives very peace feeling when came for relaxation. Best part I liked was the ROOMs, and mainly managers knows our wants how we liked the room, so he immediately provide tht kind of room. He is very good guy and very helpful in every manner Another great part was the breakfast and Food quality and ontime service. Food quality was really good.Parking space is also enough and safe. Overall hospitality and room quality was good and must recommend to others

'Sunrise Hill Resort' is perched on the scenic Khandala hill station. The hotel offers a total of 30 well furnished rooms, a multi-cuisine restobar and 1 well equipped conference hall. It is a few minutes away from Lonavala and the other attractions around the place. Away from the noise and pollution of the cities, the hotel is an ideal weekend getaway for both business and pleasure travellers.
Good property but currently poorly maintained
Reviewed By anuradha_kulkarniHotel is located in hilltop colony, very good location for walks etc.Car parking is very less, 4 cars max.Kids play area was dismantled and of no use.No chairs/bench for sitting beside swimming pool.No proper changing area(there were 2 bathrooms 5 stair down, those were stinky.) They had to be reminded 4 times(in duration of 4 hours) to recharge the DTH tv connection in room(It has ants coming in, no channels).Finally when they did it and all Chanel's started coming, remote battery went out. (TV in room becomes imp entity when you have kids and senior citizens around and nowhere much to go due to covid shop timings/waterfalls banned.) Room was a standard room, no valley view(that is fine),light fittings were falling off(the tube lights in lamps were disconnected from one side and giving unsymmetrical look to room),holes in wood,(room was perfectly cleaned though.Give staff credit for that.) Swimming pool was small but good.Only there was extremely noisy group of 15 boys who were shouting, pushing each other in water and making things scary for any other people to be around.(I hope they give good reviews to hotel, they had a gala time.) Food was good.They did mess up our lime soda salted order 2 times, but most hotels do that. All in all, this is originally a good property (marble stairs etc) but currently some budget issues maintaining it.Rooms with big holes in wood are not acceptable.Also if you happen to miss premium rooms, their hotel being on beautiful hill does not make any sense for you.Go only if you can get premium rooms facing swimming pool side. To be fair, some of issues might be due to covid and loss of business,staff shortage due to that. Staff was very polite, sincere but over worked. Receptionist madam is a sweet lady maintaining her calm and working efficiently. Breakfast was medu vadas(good in taste), yellow color idly(it was also good in taste as per family members but kids refused to eat due to yellow color.),egg bhurji with only salt and sugar and onions/chilly/tomato/spices.Tea taste was good. Go here only if you can get swimming pool view rooms.They are probably well maintained too.It will ensure that money you spend are not feeling like wasted.

The Dukes Retreat at Khandala is not more than a 15 minute picturesque drive away from Lonavala. The resort is a landmark located 1850 ft. above sea level. Reviewed By 761rajivkIt is a four storied property with all rooms facing the valley. The reception, swimming pool and resturant are located on the fourth floor. The staff is very professional and service is fast. For lunch and dinner the Room service is a la carte whereas the resturant service is buffet. This needs to be reviewed by the management. The area near the lift is undergoing renovation. The food preparation was very good. The buffet spread for all three meals was good. Monkey menace is prevalent this needs attention as one cannot utilise the balcony / sit out area. The breakfast is served in the coffee shop area. It is recommended that cutlery should be placed on each table rather than guest picking it up from the service table. Will visit again during monsoon.

There are 2 open spaces, big enough to play football, cricket, or badminton with your family. There are 2 swimming pools too - one for kids and one for adults. Both well maintained. Additionally, there is a small room for indoor games - carrom and pool table. The room was good too. We got one with a balcony and it was sealed with sliding windows to allow for the AC to have a good cooling effect there. The view wasn't outstanding though, considering that we were on a hill station. But, the property is less than 1 km from popular view points of Khandala, so no complaints. The menu has a wide variety and the food is delicious too. We weren't bored even during a 3-day stay. Plus, the service was courteous. Everyone from the reception, housekeeping and room service was polite and prompt to help with our requests. Prem, Rutik, Chetan, Manoj, Roshan, and Rajesh were a few people we interacted with. Thank you, guys!

Go if no better alternative
Reviewed By smapteWe were there for an overnight stay. The hotel appears to be relatively new, but it's furniture is probably from a flea market. It's old, rusty, broken and peeling. Our room window offered a decent view of the Khandala ghat - which was the only saving grace.... Their cook comes only during specific hours, so you'd better learn to have your food specifically during those hours only! So forget morning tea /coffee. Cook comes only after 9 am. Nothing in the room to prepare your own cup. In fact no water too!! TV remote was not working, though the a/c was another saving grace. The hotel is right next to the railway line, so enjoy the sound throughout the nights!! All in all, not a pleasant stay. Tremendous room for improvement - is anyone's reading this.....

Worst hospitality and waste of money
Reviewed By JBhav2022All false promise. Booked Villa and cottage for 8 family members. Got Villa at 3 pm while the promise to give it at 11 am & excuse given that staff is cleaning villa. No proper food. Order taken for lunch at 12 noon and served lunch at 3 pm. Dinner ordered at 7 pm and got at 10.15 pm. Arrogant staff No wi-fi. No hospitality. Ruined the holiday. Waste of money.
