I’m never inspired to write a review, but felt the need to after my one night stay. The hotel is modern, meticulously clean, and has an amazing breakfast (again, everything was so clean - and delicious!) The manager appeared to be attending to the front desk while also working hard to keep up with maintaining the busy breakfast area. I travel a lot for work and wish every hotel was on par with this one. Thank you so much for a great stay.

The Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lansing, MI is situated near I-496 and I-69, making it easy to explore central Michigan. We are less than 15 minutes from both the East Lansing Amtrak station and Capital Region International Airport (LAN), and a six-mile drive will take you to downtown Lansing and the Cooley School of Law. Are you a Spartans fan? Michigan State University is just 10 minutes from our hotel.
This is an old tired hotel whose owners do the least to maintain it. There is a very pleasant receptionist and the rooms are large. The exercise room is filthy... looks like it has not been vacuumed in ages. The pool has not been cleaned in several days an unwelcoming scum sits on top of the water The bathroom in our unit had clean towels, but the floorand baseboards need a good cleaning. The hand lettered unfriendly signs to employees, e.g DONT PUT DIRTY LINEN IN HERE are disconcerting snd speak to a very unprofessional management team. (Perhaps ther is no management?)

Stayed with my family on a Rewards night while in town for a show at MSU. Property is well maintained, and we were greeted warmly at check-in. Our room on the 4th floor was spacious. Room was super clean and had everything I expect, as well as things that other hotels seem to struggle with, like climate controls that maintain the temp you set, good water pressure, and FOUR TOWELS for a 4-person reservation (so many only give you 3 and make you seek out the 4th). Breakfast choices were ample. We didn't use the pool, but it looked large and inviting and left us wishing we had brought our suits! Staff was very friendly -- breakfast attendant greeted us, then jumped in to help when I spilled my coffee, and I had a very pleasant conversation with the check-out clerk while I waited for my family. Overall we had excellent service. Even among Hampton Inns (which are generally very good), this stood out as a wonderful stay, and I don't think I'll even bother even considering other properties the next time we visit Lansing -- I'll come here!

This hotel was not clean - from the elevators and hallways, to the rooms and beds. I cannot believe this place gets to use the Radisson name! Escalators and elevators do not work. Beds are not comfortable. No breakfast. No housekeeping during our stay.

Great motel. Very well maintained and modern rooms. Very nice staff too. Good coffee. Very neat grocery store next door that also has really good pizza. Horracks I think it is? Good tv channel selection without having 1000 channels to sift through. Does have three premium movie channels with two being HBO I believe.

The staff was helpful many times – front desk, housekeeping, engineering, each going above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable, hassle-free guest experience. The rooms are pricey, but are nice and spacious. The floors are well-designed, with easy access to elevators and stairs and a separate area for the ice-maker, away from guest rooms. The location is in the mix – MSU is a block away and a variety of restaurants, stores (practical, school-related, novelties, etc.) are within a 10 minute radius. Great hotel.

We stayed here one night for graduation ceremonies at Michigan State University. I had a general idea what to expect based on pictures on this website, so there were no surprises. Things I really liked: Despite the hotel being fairly busy for graduation guests and some sort of meeting, it was very quiet. Very open space with lots of places to sit Friendly desk staff The made to order breakfast. This was a highlight! You walk up to the counter and let the cook know what you want off the menu. The cook was awesome, and the breakfast was better than a lot of paid places! It was a great diner type breakfast. Refrigerator of water bottles in the workout room Sizable rooms with a large mini fridge Things that were "eh": It's definitely an old hotel. The rooms were nice, but show their age. I detected a slight whiff of old cigarette smoke. No obvious automatic check out. Didn't receive a bill at the door like many other places do. I went down to the desk just to make sure everything was good and they said they'd send a receipt to my email. It's been 3 days since I stayed and still haven't gotten it. Only one way to climb out of bed because one side was up against a wall. It's a little rough for older people. All in all, enjoyed it and would stay again.
