Right in front of our Restaurant start all the great trails - to the Natural Bridge, Edmunds and Wild Gorge, Saunstein... This area is best for hiking! Resort U Forta is the crossroad of all the hiking trails that lead to the main local attractions. We offer our customers a different kind of accommodation. You can choose modern wooden cabins or 200 years old gamekeeper´s house pension Hajenka or the building of a modern hotel. All the resort is in the 4 star level of comfort. Restaurant U Forta offers a great cuisine of the Czech and European standards. Infocentre is located right in front of the restaurant, so you can get useful information about the National Park and buy some souvenirs.

Reviewed By Sanna RHotel U Forta is located in the Bohemian Switzerland National Park. From here, you're just a stonethrow away from hiking paths and biking trails. The hotel is nice, clean and modern. You can either stay in regular hotel rooms or in individual cabins (which are a bit more luxury). My room at the hotel had everything I needed. It was quiet and the water in the shower was really hot. The breakfast buffé and restaurant are located in other buildings, close to the main buildning. The breakfast was good, with both warm and cold food. The only thing I missed was healthier granola/müesli, since the ones at the buffe were very "sugarish". But except for that, the breakfast was colorful, tasty and gave a lot of energy for a whole day in the nationalpark.

Reviewed By Nerry1987Nice and friendly staff, super polite. Very tasty food at the restaurant and very nice staff there too. Some rooms might need redecoration and bit more cleanliness, but that was not a big deal. Receptionist offered some good points to visit, that was really worth to see!

We were group of 25 people for lunch (teambuilding), we ordered food day before and everything was great, without waiting. The service was nice, they took care of us, the restaurant manager willing, the food very good, large portions.

The waiter slapped my hand
Reviewed By LilachelmetglueWe stopped here for lunch after hiking with our family. Several waiters were working, but no one offered to help us. One waitress said “No!” to us as we walked near a table that was prepared... probably it was reserved, but then she walked away without offering a different table. So, we chose an empty table, but still one offered to help us. The only visible menus were on prepared table nearby. There were 4 menus there, so I turned my chair to look at one. I did not walk away with the menu, I remained next to the table, holding it just above where it had been placed. I was shocked when, instead of offering to help me, a male waiter walked over to me and slapped my hand. I assured him that I was only looking at the menu, but he defended his choice to slap me and said that “sometimes it is better to ask first.” He then briskly handed me a different menu and stalked away. I realize that moving the menu may have bothered the wait staff, but they seemed too busy to help us and we were merely trying to decide what to order, so that we could be paying customers. We were also traveling with two very young children who were hungry. After this incident, we walked to a different restaurant less than 50m away and were served by a very nice young gentleman who immediately offered us tables and menus before we had to ask. We have lived in the Czech Republic for a few years now, and I know the service here is known for being brisker than in America, but this was not merely brisk behavior. This waiter crossed a line.

Reviewed By endrjub74Hotel dla gości szukających ciszy i spokoju. Pokoje skromne ale czyste. Wspaniała właścicielka Vera. Zawsze uśmiechnięta i pomocna. Super lokalizacja, w bliskiej odległości większość szlaków w tej okolicy. Śniadania smaczne. Pozostałe posiłki w restauracji również. Zimny toczeny Gambrinus po powrocie z wędrówki-pycha:).

Cosy and friendly
Reviewed By oofussA cosy little Pension run by a very friendly and helpful owner. Rooms are spacious for 2, probably a bit too cosy for 4 or more. good breakfast provided. While not in the centre of the village, the bus stop outside makes it very easy to get to, from Decin and to get to the local sights.

Reviewed By turistaCZJednodenní přespání ve vrchním apartmánu. Mírně vrzající postel, TV lednice, kuchyn linka vše ve standardní výbavě a odpovídající. Krásný výhled na přívoz a protější hospodu. Penzion klidný, velká kolárna a velké spodní parkoviště. Snídaně pestrá a příjemná. Personál usměvavý a ochotný. Celkový dojem velmi klidný penzion.

Bardzo miła obsługa, czysty hotel
Reviewed By hanianawakacjachMieliśmy pokój z łazienką na 2 dni. Było bardzo czysto, codziennie sprzątane, wifi działało bez zastrzeżeń, w pokoju podwójne łóżko, stolik, 2 fotele, tv. Brak czajnika, ale herbatę można zamówić w restauracji hotelowej. Ceny jedzenia takie jak w innych miejscach, spokojnie bierzcie w restauracji. Śniadania bardzo smaczne i spory wybór, m.in.: ser, szynki, owoce, pomidory, ogórki, dżemy, miód, nutella, jogurt, coś słodkiego i coś na ciepło, parówka i jajka (jak wchodzisz na śniadanie pytają czy chcesz). Wszyscy bardzo mili: od pań z kuchni, kelnera, obsługi biurowej, właścicieli po ludzi którzy nie wiem co tam robili w sumie ale byli mili, zagadywali do nas jak my żyjemy w dobie pandemii itd. Właściciele mają przemiłego psa, bokserkę, chętną na pieszczoty, ale bardzo grzeczną, zawsze czeka na pierwszy ruch człowieka :) Bardzo dobre miejsce wypadowe na zwiedzanie Czeskiej Saksonii (konieczne trzeba wybrać się na wycieczkę wąwozem Edmunda!), wieczorem można przejść się po tym malutkim, uroczym miasteczku, a do tego bardzo blisko granica z Niemcami. Warto tam przyjechać, bo: - piękne okolice - czysty hotel z dobrym śniadaniem - mile towarzystwo - nie oszukują z ceną, mieliśmy iść do innego hotelu ale jak nam zaśpiewano dużo drożej niż na stronie, a zapytana recepcjonistka wzruszyła tylko ramionami, to podziękowaliśmy. U Lipy cena była taka sama na bookingu i recepcji.
