Reviewed By oldwheatThanks to Tatiana for my room upgrade. I arrived at the hotel after 25 hours of travelling. Tatiana assessed the situation, found a solution and I was in my room. Thanks! Iris was a great help at the front desk. Chef Nasaf cooked great eggs for me each morning. Thank you! Morning staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. My evening meal was mediocre and the menu had a limited selection of items. Lots of screaming kids running around the dining area (my luck to hit 'spring break') and staff should have spoken to the parents who seemed too busy on their phones to notice their kids. Otherwise staff were efficient and well trained. I think it would be very helpful to send people walking instructions from the Hoopdorp train station when people book a reservation. Also encourage the train station to put in new location maps at all exits so people staying at hotels in the area can find them, not just this hotel. The airport bus wasn't running when I visited and i arrived by train. There is no updated hotel map at the train station and no staff to ask directions. I turned left out of the station and found the hotel. It's a 5-8 minute walk dragging a suitcase and would be dreadful in a rainstorm. No taxis at the train station.

Reviewed By 344senaiMy coffe machine wasnt working. A black man changed. He was kindfull. Thanks to him. Bed was comfortable. Only bad thing ı and my frıends coundnt reach to reception via room phone. If there is emergency it isnt good. I called them from my mobile phone.

Disappointed in general
Reviewed By maryl sFirst of all, we booked this hotel because the website showed an airport shuttle service. THEY DON'T. They offer a 25EU taxi service only We decided to stay in and have dinner at the hotel but were further disappointed in the service and the food. We had an early departure, so didn't have breakfast at the hotel. Also, in the shower, there wasn't any conditioner in the dispenser. It was totally empty and there wasn't much shampoo either. I like the dispensers that Hamptons use, but they do need to refill them. I'm a Hilton Diamond member and overall, this was the worst experience ever at a Hilton family of hotels. I would not stay here again.

Reviewed By Martina FHotel was very clean and classy. The room was cozy, well ordered and prepared when we arrived. Soap and towels were provided as well as a breakfast cheaper than that of restaurants outside the hotel. Location was not so bad as the bus stip was right infront of hotel. Staff were kind and helpful.

Reviewed By MA891I booked this hotel due to arriving at Schiphol at midnight. There are multiple public buses going, and it takes only 5 minutes. Very convenient! The double room was clean and modern, but also small. For one person it was perfectly fine, but for 2 people it would be too small. The staff was super friendly. Keep in mind the hotel is so close to Schiphol Airport, that you will hear planes landing (if you're a light sleeper).

The Florian is a very surprising new Dutch Design Lifestyle hotel near Schiphol Airport. The design of the hotel is a combination of Midcentury and Amsterdam School style with recognizable shapes, colors and materials. In terms of the interior, the wall/floor finish and the lighting, the design is completely Dutch Design. The Florian is an informal business hotel, very accessible, surprising, cozy and contemporary. What should of course not be missing in addition to a comfortable stay or after a hard day's work is a culinary meal in the Dutch cuisine restaurant; Dine With Florian. End a successful evening with a drink at the bar in the atrium, where during the day it feels like an indoor terrace and in the evening it transforms into a very intimate and atmospheric lounge.

Short stay at the hotel
Reviewed By ajays793Stayed at the hotel for the 2 days before departure home. The hotel at that time was working with minimal staff. Rooms : the rooms are ok. Nothing out of ordinary. Reception staff : courteous and attentive. Food : the breakfast was good. The lunch was quite ok. but the dinner was not upto the mark. The only thing nice was the salad. The pasta was not good and could have been way better.

Reviewed By scotttK4018LSExtremely poor for a Holiday Inn. Check in took around half hour as only one person on reception which was chaos. Rooms are ok and a good size but extremely overpriced. Breakfast basic and bland with very limited food on offer. Couldn’t check out properly as reception on the phone to IT and we had to ask for our invoices to be emailed at a later date. Many people wanting to speak to reception but ignored as on the phone. Won’t stay again as plenty of better options available.

Exceeded my Expectations
Reviewed By Dirk LI was there on a business trip. I have seen the hotel before and decided to give it a try based on the location, shuttle service and appearance. I was pleasantly surprised. The Moxy exceeded my expectations!! Check-in was a breeze. And I arrived late at night. The room great. Not cluttered. Had a clean happy feeling. It was indeed nice. The lounge area is huge. It is beyond the check-in island Lots of seating options, some with games. And enough power sockets for some time on your gadgets. It is worth revisiting. Just next time I shall spend more time taking pictures.... Exceptional value and definitely not seedy.
