Beautifully renewed hotel in the center of Heidelberg directly on the magnificient Makt-Platz. We have used it as a sleep-over on our way to/from Denmark. Very close to the A7, extremely good parking facilities under the hotel. The hotel itself have spacious, clean and well furnished rooms. Standard rooms are twice the size as in other hotels. Room facilities include a coffee machine.and all necessary amenities in the bathroom. The restaurant is very cosy, and the food delicious, I can only recommend this hotel.

Sadly having a negative review about an Accor hotel after a very long time.. So here goes - first look at the hotel, completely impressed. Great structure, beautiful green surroundings, just amazing - check in: Saturday 7th August. The lady at the counter seemed genuinely upset that we had decided to disturb her by checking in. Having a bad day perhaps ? Sorry but you chose to work in the service industry. - At 14:15 i was told that I have to pay more since check in time is 15:00. Unfortunately I had to throw out the 'I am a Gold member' card. Does it need to come to this ? Shouldnt the system be checked first before asking a client to pay ? While I know this is Germany / Europe etc. and service is not considered important, I would make it clear I was not expecting a red carpet or trumpets. A simple smile and welcome to the hotel would have been enough. -No welcome drink voucher offered. I did not even bother asking for one. In the rest of the world the Gold card (or membership) is acknowledged with a thank you or a welcome back etc. Again not life changing at all. But isnt that the reason one stays in a chain hotel instead of family BnB's or Airbnb etc. so that one can expect uniformity irrespective of the location? Something for Accor to ponder about. Room - There is no AC. Just FYI. No complains because I had just assumed there will be one and not checked in advance - Booked a double bed which ended up being with 2 seperate single matresses. So if you are there with your partner and hoping to even hug in bed, one of you will slip in between the matresses. Bizarre ! Location - great with respect to the train station and all other sigh seeing venues - negative because it is close to a (what seems major) intersections and open windows and emergency vehicles can make life tough. Lastly.. There was no espresso machine in the room and if I remember correctly no bathrobe either. While the corona excuse might be valid, I believe anyone willingly chosing to stay in a hotel will not suddenly get worried because of an espresso machine in the room. Please do not advertise it anymore or state it clearly that is to save money. The biggest positive - Free parking Quote EXECUTIVE - 1DB BED 2 Adults , 0 Child Even more space for added comfort. Our Executive Rooms offer plenty of space along with various extras, such as a free minibar, free premium WIFI, free room service, Nespresso machine in the room, bathrobe and free parking. Unquote

Breakfast and WIFI access are provided free of charge at the ibis Styles Hildesheim hotel. Hildesheim is full of surprises: The city is characterized by a refreshing blend of historic splendor and a young, vibrant feel ? Every visit is an experience. The 96-room ibis Styles Hildesheim hotel is the ideal starting point for exploring: After a relaxing night and delicious breakfast, the old town can be reached on foot. The central location of our hotel makes arrival and departure particularly easy. The main train station is a few minutes' walk away. The regional capital of Hanover is only 20 minutes away on the S-Bahn.
Although the staff are very friendly & helpful, the general cleanliness is good and excellent breakfast buffet the pricing left a very bitter aftertaste that traveller's should be aware of. During my stay a sign outside the hotel advertised rooms available at EUR 89 per day even though I was charged EUR 249 per day!!!! Total rip off, and on top of that I still had to pay for parking too! My rating is based on what I paid, and at almost triple the price charged what is advertised, I would recommend you look for a better value option. No cupboards in rooms, no safe only 2 hangers!

Parkhotel Berghölzchen is located in Hildesheim and from the terrace you have a view of the town. Hildesheim did not survive the British ‘Bomb-them-back-to-the-stone-age’ policy. In March 1945 the historical medieval town was flattened in 17 minutes by 227 Harris’ Lancaster bombers. 1,645 people died. The Parkhotel was built in 1994 and offers 78 rooms over 5 floors. Staffs are friendly and welcoming. Our room was relatively small but tastefully furnished and decorated with desk & chair, flat-screen TV on the wall & wardrobe. We had a good twin bed, and a separate bathroom with toilet, washroom & shower. All was very clean. Complimentary mineral water, but no coffee & tea facility. The area is very quiet. The window can be open but has no mosquito screen. Free Wi-Fi Internet and parking. The sauna facility is small but adequate. The buffet breakfast is excellent with ample variety: eggs made to offer, cold cuts, bread and rolls, juices, cereals, fruit, milk, yoghurt, fruit juice, tea & coffee. The atmosphere in the Berghölzchen hotel is modern and we had a nice stay. Recommended.

Our stay was perfect. Close to the train station, and all the comfort we needed. The staff was very helpful, the room was very clean. The beds were also great to cuddle in for the night. I liked also the shower with the "rainfall douche".

Positives: Location definitely is a big advantage of this hotel. General cleanliness of the hotel os really good, maybe apart of carpet in the room. Buffet breakfast was really tasty. Selection of different type of food would make happy every person :) It’s also good choice if you’re travelling with small baby. There are travel beds for the youngest quests, as well as high chairs in the restaurant area. Tv is available in the room, for anyone who has a time to use it :) Mostly German speaking channels, BBC was the one in English. Things that might be improved: I would recommend spending little bit more time on carpet in the room next time when cleaning :) We asked for one big bed, and got one. But with two mattresses ;) That’s not too comfy. Personally I think mattresses were to soft. But that’s personal preference, some people would love it.

Stopped here for one night on a road trip. Their parking lot was full so had to find on street parking. Lobby is a bit dark and it smelled like smoke on the hallway before our room. The room itself was small, but functional and clean. Good water pressure in the shower. Hotel location is very nice and easy into the old town to walk around and many restaurants are in the area. Breakfast wasn’t memorable.

I had one of the apartments on the top floor and it was an amazing room. Very big, clean and cozy. Because it is on the top floor you see the roof structure. This gives a nice look. The only thing which was not that good for me was the breakfast. I always eat granola, muesli or cruesli in the morning and the choice was very limited here. Especially if you compare it to other hotels that I have stayed in in Germany.
