Reviewed By R99999000000000I originally booked because it was centrally located and this is a plus. The decor is nice modern with sky television. There's a swimming pool which looked great. However the person who was on the desk is the first point of impression for the premises. And it wasn't good. He was unfriendly. actually off putting. Other issues were about the cleaning. The introduction folder had food residue on it. The spa bath was dirty. Black long hairs in the bath and on the floor. I specifically requested a room with a spa but didn't use it because of the hygiene standards. The cleaners are not doing a proper job and there shouldn't be hairs and I mean multiple hairs in the shower or bath. Actually after that experience I wondered how clean the rest of my room was. I think the hosts should check the standard d of the rooms after the cleaners have done their job. Second be friendly on the desk because honestly if you can't be welcoming to your guests why are you doing that job. In the times of covid motels are struggling, and guests are paying a premium to stay there and motels are not cheap. One more thing, this is a recommendation for all motels who purchase those crappy cheap hot chocolate sachets and coffee. For 195 a night or more. how about investing in quality brands. The way to attract customers and stand out from other motels is exceptional presentation, nice friendly person on the desk, and better tea, coffee and hot chocolate brands. Would I book again no.

Not much slept for me but lucky my husband is deaf. ? would stay again because it was lovely and clean and central to most things. They even rung me to say my tooth brush was there. Great coffee shop right next door and a gas station on the other side

Reviewed By Heatherlmc21All the inadequate aspects would have been overlooked if the host had interacted with me more positively. I did not feel safe in terms of external door security system; the bathroom was smelly; the heat pump remote needed new batteries so it could be activated.

Elmore Lodge Motel offers affordable Hastings motel accommodation in 15 spacious units, including a mix of budget & superior studios, one bedroom units and 2 bedroom options. - all rooms have allocated free parking. Some rooms have cooking options and Pam and John are only a phone call away to ensure that the right accommodation has been selected for you.

Reviewed By lorrianThere were 9 of us in our 10pin bowling group and none of us had any issues with Elmore Lodge. We were in walking distance to the bowling centre, it’s a lovely short walk. There are shops which we used often, dairy, hell’s pizza, Chinese and fish shop, the food is great. If you keep walking past these shops there is the Coffee club and the luckiest lotto shop in NZ. I would recommend the Elmore Lodge to anyone, you get free laundry and able to hang your clothes on the line or in the dryer, not many places I’ve stayed at have that. The rooms are serviced every day, we stayed 7 days. Elmore is very clean the beds are excellent so comfortable, perfect. There is no air conditioning but there is a ceiling fan that is so much better, keep us cool at night. All the management and staff are very friendly giving us lots of information, thankyou, we will definitely stay there again.

Reviewed By TeriC93A beautifully restored villa right in the middle of wine country, who could ask for more? Well more is what you'll get. Gary and Dietske put on an experience you'll never forget. We stayed 3 nights, and did the Taste Hawke's Bay package, which alone was worth the trip. This truly was luxury at its finest, and in a uniquely New Zealand way.

Lovely rural location. Just three units on site - One separate studio unit (tea and coffee facilities only) with King size bed, two recliner chairs, small ensuite bathroom, flat screen TV, small verandah, courtyard and own parking and two self contained cottages with verandahs, orchards next door, only 5 km from Havelock North and 5 km from Hastings. Cottages have leather recliner chairs, comfortable beds, fridge/freezer, microwave, DVD players, SKY TV and aircon/heat pump unit. The two bedroom cottage has two ensuites, oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, a super king bed and a king size bed. One bedroom cottage has king bed in bedroom and bed sofa/mattresses available for lounge (extra charge). All units have air conditioning. On site outdoor seasonal swimming pool to enjoy (unheated).

Reviewed By neilgO215SGThanks Carol. The King Studio was perfect for us as a base for two days visiting friends in the area. Warm, comfortable, good bed, en-suite that worked and kitchen bits that were ideal for two people. It was a good place to return to after a day away. We will return. Neil.

Reviewed By hanniepexOur check in was easy. The room is neat And overall tidy. There are toiletries provided. Room has mini fridge, microwave and utensils. However since it was summer, the weather becomes to humid in the evening and electric fan is only available upon request which we dont know on the 1st day. It wasn’t a good sleep for me. The blankets were itchy and my daughter got flee bites on 3rd day. The pool is not maintained. Check out was fast.

Excellent layout, with all the details covered and considered. Lovely linens, super comfy beds and a warm, inviting place to spend time with friends and family.
