We spent 4 nights there in one of the 3 rooms upstairs and were satisfied. Our target was hiking in Prokletyje so we did not spent much time in the place during the day. Breakfasts were ok but quite repetitive, daily omelette and bread, twice the "burek" in addition, once jam. To drink tea or coffee [poor]. We had coffee so we brewed our own. The kitchen was rather modest, but there was the kettle so we had a boiled water. It was late September, the weather was poor [chilly and cloudy], so the room was quite cold, but the landlady gave us an electric heater. In the bathroom there was a small leak, but was not disturbing anything. The slight inconvenience was compensated by the wonderful mountains surrounding us. And the hosts were kind and nice.

Just 15 min from Gusinje, in Grebaje valley, beautiful surrounding where you can spend a pleasant family day - there is a Katun Maja Karanfil. Katun Maja Karanfil has accommodation and a restaurant in which, on a mountain freshness, you can enjoy in traditional cuisine, with breathtaking view on the unique amphitheater of Grebaje peaks. Your youngest will surely love our playground.
Above all, I must highlight the amazing place in the Grebaja Valley. Just sitting on the restaurant terrace and watching the stunning scenery of the Prokletije Mountains you have an unforgettable experience for life. And what about when undergoing some mountain hikes, which will end with an excellent dinner in the restaurant. So stay there is primarily all about beautiful nature. You must not expect too much comfort in the bungalows as they are very small but the room was clean, comfortable and cosy, an electric heater and plenty of blankets were provided. The restaurant was also amazing, we enjoyed our breakfast (choice of pancakes or omelette) and a la carte dinner there. The staff were very friendly, speak good English and are also able to recommend hiking routes. We stayed there 3 nights and we only wish that we could have stayed longer.

Rosi hotel is very much worth it for what you pay there. Cheap, friendly, very helpful staff and great food. Great location especially for hikers.Don't miss out for 2017 if you enjoy nature and food. Thankfully the road that connects with Albania is all done.

It was a family visit to Vuthaj. We where welcomed in a best traditional way by the host. Rooms are very clean. Bathroom as well. View is toward mountains. The home made food is so delicious that you’ll remember it for a lifetime. Simply worth of visiting.

The guesthouse is owned by a very hospitable and kind family. They did everything they could to make us feel at home. The local food prepared by the lady was very tasteful, we had breakfast, dinner with homemade wine and snack on mountain hikes since there is very limited food option nearby. Room was nice and clean, bed comfortable, and the whole place quiet so we had a very good night sleep. Sitting by the fireplace in the garden after sunset was perfect for relaxing after day's hikes. We stayed for three nights and we enjoyed the stay very much. It was a little complicated to find the house, there was no sign on the road.

The way to the hotel isn’t easy to find as nowhere is a special sign for it. GPS ist useful as there is only a narrow road leading to the Hotel. Location: 1.8km west of Town-centre; no light on the road; therefore: a torch is required for a foot-walk in the dark. The place looks quite nice because of its architecture which is a combination of old (stone walls) and new (facade with glass). Breakfast was fine. Convenient car-park in front of the hotel. The rest was absolutely out of the question. On our check-in during late afternoon and after regular check in time, we still had to wait about half an hour because of unknown reasons – although only few people were in the hotel at that time. There was no excuse for this inconvenience. Our room was clean but very sparsely furnished. Even after highlighting any missing chair to the reception there was no assistance offered. I was just told to use the nightstand as a chair. The equipment (lamps) as well as the walls and bathrooms were in a poor condition and the hotel did not look ready to operate (see pictures attached). Some additional safety concerns as the lobby staircase does not have any hand rail (see picture attached) was a major issue. There is danger – not only for little children! There were 2 young associates who were unfortunately not helpful but rather unwilling to assist with any kind of comments we made. After a look into the menu of the restaurant we decided to go into the village and we had our dinner there. Conclusion: the hotel has definitely a potential by its features (if the above recommendations in regards to the finishings will be attended to), its location and neighbourhood. However with the lack of professionalism by the staff who introducted themselves as very qualified students, I cannot recommend this place and will not return.
